Luke forces out a strained, satisfied noise every so often, the sound sending shockwaves from my ears to my core. My head falls back the second his other hand reaches up to rub my balls, and the damn universe reveals itself behind my eyelids.
“Luke,” I sputter. “You’re unreal.”
He hums and continues, making my thighs twitch. The pressure in my nuts tightens with every second of sweet, sustained suction, and I eke out his name again, trying to give him some kind of warning of how close I'm getting.
And what does Luke do? He deepthroats me, clenching while lapping under my shaft.
I’m done for.
I arch my back, spilling my load down Luke’s tight throat.
I have no words, no strength, and all I can do is whimper as the force of my orgasm courses through me.
My skin burns, hyper-sensitive with every nerve on fire.
Luke strokes me with a gentle touch, smiling up at me as my body sinks deeper into the sofa.
“My god, you’re even hotter when you come.
” Luke’s voice, gravelly and deep, floats through the syllables.
I’m still falling back to earth, but I can feel him shuffle onto the sofa, there’s a rustle of fabric and then…
shaking. When I open my eyes, confused, I see Luke lying back, breathing deep, abs flexing, and jerking his long, perfect cock.
No fucking way. Not after what he did to me.
Adrenaline courses through me as I knock his hand away, replacing it with mine, and I lazily trace a vein at the base.
“You don’t have to, Erik. It’s totally fine.”
I don’t listen. “This is the least I can do,” I mutter, swiping my tongue into his foreskin as he nods.
“Oh yeah, go for it.”
I take him into my mouth, and he hisses in a breath.
“Holy fucking shi…”
Luke’s words trail off into nothingness as I slide lower and saturate his length all the way down.
A salty, delicious bead of precum rolls onto my tongue, and my exhausted dick makes a little jump.
When I pull back, dragging my tongue along his shaft, I take in his pleading expression before sucking him deep again.
I pull out all the stops as I work Luke over.
His hands ball up in my hair as he grunts breathlessly, his hips shaking with all the desperation of a man speeding toward the edge.
I close my right hand around his cock to stabilize him, and I keep going, bobbing up and down, tightening my mouth around him.
I drink in the sounds of Luke losing it, his forceful moans, his swearing, my name escaping his lips.
He pulses and thickens, pressing every vein into my tongue.
His breathing gets deeper, and it doesn’t take long before Luke taps my shoulder.
He’s right there.
I double down, hollowing my cheeks and sliding from his swollen tip to the base. This is way too good, and I’m getting hard again even though Luke sucked me dry a few short minutes ago.
He lets out a mangled cry, his grip on my hair tightening as he breaks, unleashing down my throat. I gag, but I steady myself and swallow, which makes Luke convulse. It’s only after he stops leaking that I release him with a teasing suck at the tip, prompting a sharp, ragged gasp.
With unsteady, cramping legs, I sit down next to Luke, raking my gaze over his recovering body.
“You okay there?” I ask.
“Hrngh.” Luke breathes deeply, struggling for words. “Best head ever. Holy shit.”
I tilt my head, a little skeptical. “Maybe it’s been a while since you came?”
Luke shakes his head. “I jacked off this morning so I wouldn’t get hard the second I saw you.”
“That didn’t work out, did it?” I tease, letting out a laugh.
“Clearly not, you’re irresistible.” He tilts his head a fraction. “That was good for you too, right? Back then, you…” Luke trails off, searching for words, maybe ones more polite than?—
“—came like a damn geyser?” I supply, and Luke stifles a snicker. “That was all you. It’s been ages for me. Well, with anyone else, I mean?—”
Christ, Erik. Stop fucking talking. That’s a first for me—I always try to make myself talk more .
Luke puts his hand on my shoulder again and cuts my thoughts off. “Hey, it’s all good. No need to get flustered. Feel free to hit me up if you never want another dry spell.”
My dick twitches again. Feel free? I’m left standing there, trying to process how easily Luke dropped that generous-as-hell offer, and I’ll have to figure out if he’s being serious.
“So, uh, are we still going out?” he asks.
We already had sex, so is this his way of asking me to leave?
Luke turns back to me. “I’m still down if you are.”
I raise my eyebrows. My overthinking was wrong.
“Sure!” I try to stand up before realizing that my legs aren’t cooperating. “Give me a minute. Let me learn how to walk again.”
The corners of his eyes wrinkle, sending sparks through my chest. “We could order in if you’d prefer,” he says, placing my clothes next to me on the sofa. “I don’t know about you, but I’m winded.”
“Sounds good,” I mumble, and Luke pulls his phone out. He taps around before handing it to me as I’m halfway through putting my on, and I add an order of fish and chips.
When I give him the phone back, his t-shirt is already back on, and I miss the sight of his muscles already.
Stupid t-shirt.
“Everything should be here in around twenty minutes,” he says. “Want some water?”
“Yeah, that’d be great, thanks.” I take slow sips from the glass he hands me before darting into the hallway bathroom to freshen up.
It’s been ages since someone left me sweaty and winded the way Luke did just then, and I’m not about to stink up the whole apartment. I splash some water on my face, give myself a once-over with a wet wipe from the pack in my pocket, and touch up my cologne.
Luke is plating the food when I leave the bathroom, and he motions for me to sit. He smirks at me when I slide my fish and chips over, and I raise a questioning eyebrow.
“Wow, Erik. Adventurous, much?” he teases, his words dripping with sarcasm.
Huh, Luke’s trying to chirp a hockey player. That’s a stupid move. Brave, but still stupid.
I roll my eyes before freezing—getting too snarky might make things awkward. “Hey, don’t knock me for playing it safe. What’d you get?”
“Uh, I’m not too sure,” Luke says, inspecting the unidentifiable mix in his bowl. “The description was for some kind of fusion dish, and I thought I’d try it.” He takes a bite.
Then Luke purses his lips as a smug grin spreads across my own.
“Is it good?” I ask, even though his expressions are rotating through the five stages of grief. That’s gotta be the funniest thing I’ve seen in ages.
“It’s interesting.” He thrusts his fork into the food, stirring the contents. “Can I try yours?”
Is he actually trying to snipe my fish? Not on my watch.
I swat his hand away as he comes for my plate with a fork. “What happened to being adventurous? Isn’t my food too basic for you?”
Luke retreats and eats another forkful from his plate, wincing as he swallows. “No, you don’t understand. I’ll trade a bite for a bite so you can see what I’m dealing with.”
I flick my eyes up for a second before I collect some of Luke’s food. I give the spoon a tentative sniff before eating, analyzing the flavor as I swallow. It’s a mildly spicy mixture of Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese, paired with some kind of noodle.
Interesting for sure, but I don’t mind it. That’s got to be healthier than what I got.
“It isn’t bad,” I say to Luke’s expectant gaze, which turns to surprise.
With a humored huff, I swap our plates. “You owe me one.”
He’s already digging in. “This is really good,” Luke mumbles between mouthfuls.
I can’t help myself, and I snicker a lot louder than I was expecting. “Who’s the basic one now?”
“Shut up,” he says, lowering his volume. “But I kind of deserve to get ribbed for that.”
“Okay,” I reply, encouraged and still a little smug. “Basic boy.”
Burying his face in his hands, Luke groans. “I can’t with you, oh my god.” His head shakes with laughter, and I part his hands with the end of my spoon to reveal his face.
Fuck , his flushed cheeks and that helpless little smile make my heart flip.
“There’s no need to be embarrassed about your bland-ass taste buds,” I fire back.
“Jesus, where’s all this coming from? You’re such a menace all of a sudden.”
“It’s because you chirped a professional hockey player. You brought this on yourself.” I tilt my head at Luke as he scoffs, and he opens his mouth before cutting up the fish, choosing not to reply.
“Anyway, thanks for swapping with me,” he says after a few seconds, his tone still light.
We keep eating, and I can’t ignore the warm sensation that’s growing in my stomach. As first dates go, this one ruled , even if we didn’t end up leaving Luke’s house, and it’s hard to hide my disappointment when it winds down.
“I’ll head out,” I say, making sure not to overstay my welcome.
Luke spins around to face me. “You live around High Park, right? Near the AHL rink?”
“Uh huh.”
“Sheesh, that’s far. Do you want to stay over instead?”
Wait. He wants me to stay?
“If you don’t mind,” I manage.
Luke chuckles. “Hmm, no, I’m going to kick out the hot guy so I can sleep alone in my huge bed where there’s more than enough space for both of us.”
His sarcasm is obvious, and so is the fact that he wants me here. There’s no shrug, no reluctance, no “I guess you can crash but don’t keep me up.”
“Sure, I have the day off tomorrow,” I say, barely managing to keep my excitement below the surface.
Luke breaks into yet another smile. “Great! I have to get up at eight for work, but you can sleep as late as you want.”
“Oh, I wasn’t planning on staying over, so I don’t have a change of clothes.”
Luke waves me off. “Don’t worry, I can put your clothes in the wash and lend you something in the meantime.
” He pulls out a shirt and some shorts from a bag in his hallway closet.
“One of my friends is keeping some stuff here while he’s in grad school, and he won’t mind you borrowing. These should fit.”
Deciding to give Luke some privacy, I change in the hallway bathroom, and when I come out, Luke is already curled up under the covers in his king size bed, beckoning me over.
As soon as I slip under the blanket, the mattress molds perfectly to my body. If that wasn’t enough, Luke slides an arm around me, locking me in place, and when he sighs into my neck, that seals my fate. I never want to leave.
Grinning to myself, I run my fingers through Luke’s hair and give him a gentle scratch.
What possesses me to do something so intimate is beyond me, but Luke doesn’t seem to care.
He tightens his arm around me, and my face lands in his chest. I’ve slept next to guys post-hookup before, but being held like this? It’s totally new.
I’m usually nervous as hell. I can’t count how many times someone has joked about my heart racing or how stiff I feel, but Luke is silent. When I focus on my pulse beating against the pillow, I realize that it’s steady. Peaceful. Normal .
My god, I’ve been missing out.
“You give really good hugs,” Luke murmurs, and before I have a chance to think of a reply, he’s out like a light.
Coming over, I knew Luke was sexy. I knew he was nice. What I didn’t know is how easily he’d put a stupid smile on my face by letting me fall asleep on him.
