O ne Month Later

“ Y ou ready to do this shit, Mrs. Henderson?” A grin spread across Saadiq’s handsome face as he held out his hand for Zia as they stood in the lobby of their new establishment.

Giggling, Zia rubbed her three-month-old belly as she glanced from the big ass rock on her finger to Saadiq and nodded excitedly as a huge smile curled her full lips.

“I’ve never been more ready for anything in my life, Mr. Henderson.

Well, besides meeting our baby. Something tells me that we’re gonna have a daddy’s girl. ”

“That’s exactly what I want her to be if we have a mini you.” Saadiq smiled when he rubbed his wife’s belly.

“Whew,” Zia smirked as she shook her head. “I am so not ready for the two of y’all together. I can see right now that both of y'all are about to be a problem. Double teaming me and shit.”

“You damn right. But don’t worry, baby, you’ll still be important to daddy, too.” Saadiq chuckled as he pulled his wife into a hug.

“Saadiq, I ain’t bout to play with you today, sir,” She giggled as he pecked her on the lips.

“But in all seriousness, I can’t wait to see the bond you two build together.

I pray that we give our little one all the love I never got to receive from my parents and the love I still receive today from my adoptive parents.

I hope and pray this baby can feel just how much he or she is already loved. ”

“We’re gonna make sure our child knows that we loved him or her long before they were born,” Saadiq encouraged lovingly. “Now, are you sure you’re ready to walk into this new adventure with me?”

“I’m ready to walk into any adventure with you, baby.

It’s hot as hell, but the sun is shining on this gorgeous day, and everyone we love is here to support us.

I’ve never been more ready to embrace life than at this moment.

After all that shit that went down with Jabari last month, I’m just happy that you’re not in prison and that we’re both still alive.

With all those people and the owner backing our story of self-defense, and no cameras to say different was amazing.

I’m probably gonna be traumatized for a while, but I’m happy and my heart is so full because of you. ”

“Yeah, it’s been a hell of a journey so far, and we’ve still got a lifetime together to go. I hate that I had to take Jabari out like that, but I wasn’t about to let that nigga take you from me.

“Thank you for fighting for me.”

“My pleasure, gorgeous,” Saadiq slipped his hand in hers. “Come on, let’s go cut this ribbon and start our new life together as owners of the best damn cookie and ice cream bar in town.”

“Let’s do it, baby.”

Ecstatically happy as he bit his bottom lip while eyeing his wife’s curves, Saadiq grabbed Zia by her waist. He pulled her toward him, and he gave her a juicy, freaky ass tongue kiss as he squeezed her ass while pressing his dick against her coochie.

“Mmmm,” Zia grinned as her knees wobbled lightly. “What was that for, handsome?”

“‘Cause you looking good as fuck as always, and I just needed that shit. It’s taking everything in me not to bend ya pretty ass over and fuck the shit outta you. You got me horny as fuck.”

“But Saadiq, you fucked me all night and twice this morning. I’m fucking exhausted and can barely walk straight right now because of your nasty ass.”

“So, the fuck that got to do with anything?” He shrugged as if her point didn’t make any sense whatsoever. “That was hours ago. Shit, it ain’t my fault that l can’t keep my hands off you. You shouldn’t be walking around wit’ all they juicy ass, fat pussy that stay soaking fucking wet for a nigga.”

“Well, Saadiq, if you’d quit fucking on me all the damn time and looking at me like you wanna snatch me up and eat me like a full-course meal, my pussy wouldn’t constantly stay wet.”

“Shit, that’s yo’ fault, Zia. You shouldn’t look so gotdamn good, and be so fucking responsive to me. Come on, let’s go do this grand opening shit before somebody walk up in this bitch and find me wit’ ya pussy in my mouth.”

Shaking her head, Zia chuckled as her husband led her through a pair of frosted glass double doors and outside to the front of the building.

A small crowd stood clapping and cheering as they appeared and stood under the large awning.

On the awning was a painting of a bowl of cookie dough and ice cream being mixed by a cartoon version of a stunning, older black woman who was holding the bowl.

Above the picture was the name of the new business, Gwen’s Sugah and Dough Ice Cream Bar.

Zia was smiling from ear to ear as she and Saadiq stood in front of a red ribbon with a big red bow attached to the center.

“Wassup, everybody,” Saadiq addressed the crowd as he reached for his wife’s hand.

“Thanks so much for coming out this afternoon to the grand opening of my wife Zia and I’s new cookie and ice cream shop.

We couldn’t be more grateful for all the love and support you’ve given us through this process.

For y’all to show up for us today means more than we could possibly express, and as a token of our appreciation, we’re giving you, the select few, a first look at our new business.

In addition to being the first to visit Gwen’s, you’ll receive a box of mixed cookies and a jar of freshly churned ice cream topped with crumbles of our cookie of the day, the cake batter-stuffed Superman cookie.

As well as a free Gwen's t-shirt, a gift tin of cookies, and an apron. We also have a buffet of amazing finger foods and wine for you to enjoy! So, Saadiq clasped his hands together. Welcome to Gwen’s. ”

Zia was near tears as one of their staff members handed her the large pair of scissors.

Walking up to the ribbon, she cut on three, then she and Saadiq stepped aside for everyone to enter.

Glen, Saadiq's grandfather, Mitch and Raina, Zia’s adoptive parents, Truce, and several more of their friends and family showed up to support the couple’s new journey as business owners, and both Zia and Saadiq were overwhelmed with the love.

Ooo’s and aahhh’s, rang out excitedly as their family, friends, and Zia’s customers filled the lobby.

As everyone mingled, they complimented the ice cream cone-shaped tables and chairs, complete with sprinkles, cherries, and chocolate dessert toppings.

The cookie-shaped arched checkout counter matched the painted cookie crumbles that were painted on the floor.

Halfway through the store, one trail continued out the door, while the other broke off and into a separate trail toward the patio.

The soft yellow, white, and warm caramel-hued walls weren’t only the perfect backdrop to the space, but they blended seamlessly with the mural that Callie painted on the wall.

Knocking the wall down to expand Zia’s and Saadiq’s business had been the best move because it created a big open space to fill both her vision and Gwen’s.

“Sissy, I’m so fucking proud of you. Y’all did so good. I’m happy you and Saadiq are finally back together. It makes my heart swell to see how y’all look so lovingly and nastily at each other.”

“Thank you, Britt wit’ ya freaky ass.” Zia giggled as they embraced after speaking to her parents.

“Thank you so much for always having my back, never leaving my corner, and for refusing to allow me to give up in love and in life. You were the only good thing that came out of being dumped into Cider Youth Village. I don't know what I’d do without you, Britt.”

“Now, why the hell would you make me cry up in this bitch,” Brittany chuckled as she held her head back for a minute to keep from ruining her makeup.

“I love your emotional, petty ass too. You're the best blood sister a girl could ever ask for. Thank you for showing me unconditional love even when I didn’t think I was worthy of it. We’ve come a long way, my girl. ”

“Yes, we have. Cheers.” Zia said as she held up her glass of pineapple juice.

“Cheers, sissy,” Brittany smiled as she clinked her glass of red wine to Zia’s cup. “We made it.”

After talking a few more minutes, Brittany headed back across the room with her man, who had just walked in, while Zia went in search of her husband.

When she hadn’t been able to locate Saadiq in the lobby, kitchen, or their offices, Zia headed to the long hallway near the rear of the store.

A sneaky grin curled her lips when she finally found him in the supply closet, retrieving more cups, napkins, and spoons.

“There you are, handsome. I was looking all over for your sexy ass,” Zia nibbled on her bottom lip as she closed and locked the door behind her. “I need something from you.”

“Oh, my bad, baby. We were running low on a few things, so I came back here to grab them since I wasn't busy.” Saadiq explained as he held up the supplies.

Zia closed the space between them, knocked everything from his hands, and began unbuttoning his pants. “You’re busy now. I need to feel your dick caressing my tongue, so all that other shit is gonna have to wait.”

“Mannnn, a’ight, Zia. Don’t fuck around and start some shit you can’t finish,” Saadiq warned as Zia pulled his big, long, chocolatey dick from his pants and got down on her knees.

“You know once you get me started, I’on know how to fucking stop.

Do you really want everybody to hear me blow ya fucking back out? ”

“Saadiq, I know exactly what I’m doing,” She winked as she slid him into her mouth and began lathering him up real good with her saliva.

Slowly, she pulled him out of her mouth to suck and lick up and down the underside of his dick.

“And I don’t give a fuck who hears what.

I’m horny as fuck and I want my muthafuckin’ man. ”

“Fuckkkkk, Zia!” Saadiq moaned as she slipped him back in her mouth while massaging his balls. “A’ight baby, whatever you want. The world is yours. I just wanna be the only nigga to love, protect, and make you happy while I’m in it. Shittttt! Suck my fuckin’ dick, baby!”
