Chapter twenty-six
Ryann
The next few days are excruciating. Raider and Wren have practice every day, but he keeps getting into the house.
I’ve found panties in the couches and lipstick smeared on clothes. The stench of an omega in heat woke us all up last night.
I’d sat on the bed with my arms around my knees, while my alphas reached a feral level. The way the four of them had reacted had answered one very interesting question. My alphas don’t like omegas. They reacted like the omega was a threat.
And they answered that threat with an aggression that took my breath away.
Several times.
Wren wakes, and his eyes gleam in the dark. He snarls and slides his hands up the back of my thighs and pushes my legs up around my ears. He sinks into me with a groan.
“Wren,” I whisper.
He silences me by dragging his teeth across the squished swell of my breast.
My eyes roll as he slowly drags out of me, his thick cock hits every sensitive nerve ending inside me, lighting up my exhausted body like the goal lights when he slides the puck into the net.
Wren seems to know it, too. He pushes back into me, smirking as he leans down and licks my cheek.
I pant and cling to him, but he’s languid in his slow, deliberate owning of my body. He just rests his weight on me and moves slowly in and out .
With each thrust, I feel myself falling apart. Losing the part of me that is used to being alone. I’m letting them in. No, they are storming my castle, breaking down all those protective and defensive walls.
Wren stares into my eyes as he sends me into another orgasm. He follows me and pushes his knot into me. The burning, stretching, painful pleasure ignites my whole body. I lie there screaming silently as he stills over me. But I can’t stop my body from milking him, squeezing that knot I should not be able to take.
He leans down and touches his lips to my cheeks, kissing away the tears I didn’t know I was crying.
Wren murmurs soft words against my lips as he lifts his weight and lets my legs down. Instead, I wrap my arms and legs around him and hold on.
“Wren?”
“Yeah?”
“I think I-”
The phone rings loudly, and I look over at Raider, who sits up and goes searching. He glances at me and answers it.
“Yeah?”
The person on the end talks for a long time before Raider hangs up and sits on the bed, facing away from us.
“Who was it?” Callan asks sleepily. He looks at the clock. “It’s seven in the morning.”
“It’s Bethany. She wants to talk. She’s not taking no for an answer.”
Yesterday, I might feel threatened. Yesterday, I thought my alphas might want her.
Today, I know they hate the scent of omega musk.
“When will she be here?” Kit asks.
“Couple of hours,” Raider says and looks at me. “Are you sitting on a knot again, baby?”
I let out a little mewl and blush at the ridiculous sound. Raider crawls across the bed and grips my jaw, turning me towards him.
Wren pulls out of me, leaving me feeling empty, but Raider rolls me in the blankets, tying my wrists up to the headboard, and pushing me up on my knees.
Kit moves in and ducks between my legs, licking from my clit all the way back. I moan, but he just spreads my cheeks wider, staring at my hole.
There’s a flush of embarrassment, but it’s chased away as he goes in and laps at my pussy.
“Kit!”
Kit laughs, and the vibrations have me tensing around the fingers he pushes into me .
“Loud, Ryann, everyone needs to hear you,” Kit murmurs and nips the crease of my ass cheek.
I let out a startled shriek.
“Did you know that we put our bonds where other people can’t see?” Kit murmurs.
I tense, my whole body listening to his words. “Where?”
Kit moves over me and dips his tongue between my ass crack and bites down. “This is where I bit Raider.”
I shudder, feeling it in my bones.
Kit slides up over my back, nestling his cock against my pussy as he slides his lips up into my hairline and bites again. I break out into shivers.
“This is where I plan to bond Wren,” he whispers.
“And Callan?” I murmur, almost lost to the heat that is tearing through me.
“I bit Callan somewhere that you don’t have, darling.”
My eyes widen, and I find Callan and look at him with heated curiosity.
“Didn’t it hurt?”
“It hurt so good he begged me to do it again,” Kit murmurs and pushes into me. “He came in Raider’s mouth more than he’d ever come before. He was a wreck of an alpha, begging and screaming for more.”
I clench around the alpha inside me and moan. “Please?”
“Please what?”
My tongue tangles, and I get a flash of panic before certainty hits.
“Bond me, Alpha.”
Kit stops moving completely. “Are you sure about this, Ryann?”
“Yes, please.” I almost whine the words. “Please, I want it. I’m yours, and you all are mine. Bond me.”
Kit hesitates a moment too long.
“Ryann knows what she wants,” Callan says. “Give it to her.”
Kit’s leash snaps, and he plows into me, almost spreading me open with the force. I curl my fingers into the bed and push back with each thrust, meeting him in an erotic slap of flesh that has me moaning.
Kit curls up over me, breathing heavily into my ear. I feel surrounded, comforted, complete.
And then he bites down on the skin behind my ear. I let out a shout. Kit shoves his palm against my mouth and, by instinct, I open my mouth and bite down.
The warm feeling of Kit’s release squirts into me, and I lose myself in another toe-curling orgasm. Kit lets out a muffled groan and thrusts into me twice more, draining himself, before his whole body stiffens and jerks .
“Knot, shit.”
“Do it!” I shout.
Kit slams his knot home, and I scream, the world flashing black and white. The pain becomes pleasure becomes pain. I’m in a maelstrom of feelings, all tied up and twisted, and all I can do is hold on.
I collapse, and Kit follows me down, licking the bite. His arms come around, and his fingers thread with mine. I just lie there with him in me, on me. Safe.
And inside is a small, warm, indistinct glow of an alpha. I have a bond.
Bethany sits opposite me and fidgets. The big, purple-haired alpha named Saint puts a hand on her knee, and she stops immediately, turning to him gratefully.
I still don’t like her at all, but Raider has an arm over my shoulder, and Wren’s thigh is pressed against mine.
Bethany looks at Raider long enough to make me hiss low under my breath. The emo alpha, whose name is Crow, smiles like he’s amused by my reaction. Hunter, the brunette, looks bored. He can be bored elsewhere.
They look good together, these four. I want them gone.
“First off, Raider, I want to thank you for hearing me out.”
Raider is sitting so still. He loves her. I can almost feel it in the air, but he doesn’t trust her.
And her alphas are wary of him.
Kit and Callan also seem a bit standoffish, too.
This whole dynamic is unpleasant and makes my skin crawl.
“I want us to go back to the way we were before.”
Raider looks away. “That’s not possible.”
“Please, Raider. I’m sorry, I want to make it up to you.”
Raider sits forward and removes his arm from around me, only to grab my hand.
If he needs my strength, it’s his.
“You left. You left after Kelly left. Our parents were grieving. And you disappeared without a word. We didn’t know if you were dead or alive. Did you think there would be no consequences? Of course, things are not going to be the same. You hurt me, you hurt my family, and you hurt my pack.”
Bethany’s eyes well with tears. “Raider… you were like a brother to me. ”
“Then maybe you should have treated me like one instead of just vanishing. I’m going to forgive you, I said I would. But it won’t go back to how it was. I’m not the guy you knew.”
“Bethany,” Crow murmurs. “I think this is the best you’re going to get right now. You can earn it back over time.”
She turns to him with shimmering tears in her sapphire eyes.
“I need to know what information you found out,” he interrupts.
Saint leans forward. “There is no one by name or appearance who matches the criteria.”
“What was the criteria?” I ask.
“Someone who appears at more than two locations.”
“Well, I don’t have multiple stalkers!” I snap.
“No,” Crow says and pulls on his lower lip. “But it does mean your stalker is crazy smart and has the ability to change his appearance and name easily.”
I stare at him, feeling uneasy. “Change his appearance?”
“Could just be hair dye, could be prosthetics, wigs, masks, changing gender, changing designations. He could have even gone so far as plastic surgery.”
I feel sick. Wren leans in, whispering to me, but I almost can’t hear him over the thudding in my ears.
“He changes his appearance?” Callan asks and stands up. He starts to pace. “He could be anyone.”
“I should go-”
“Not a chance!” Callan snaps. “You’re ours now. We’re going to find him.”
“We don’t even know who to look for.”
“I don’t care!” Callan shouts. “I’m not losing you.”
Bethany is staring at Raider again with some kind of epiphany.
“What he said,” Raider agrees and brings my hand to his mouth. “Nothing on Earth is going to steal you away.”
My heart melts.
Bethany reaches out and takes Saint’s hand, and when she catches my eye, she dips her head a little.
She’s family. I’m going to have to get along with her, so I force a small smile and return her nod.
“Okay, I’m not going anywhere.”
