Page 17 of Bleed for You (Bloody Desires #6)

S taring down at Rafe’s body, Jinx was surprised he was still alive.

He wiped his forehead with his arm and watched Rafe’s chest lift up and down with every breath he took.

Rafe’s breathing rattled and Jinx picked up the rib shears and showed them to Rafe.

Rafe’s eye tracked him. The other one Jinx had removed then dangled in front to Rafe when he’d come to after passing out.

At that point, Rafe had cried and begged Jinx to kill him.

“When those little boys begged you to stop hurting them, did you?” he asked, his voice low. Rafe had looked away. “I didn’t think so.”

Now he cast his eyes over the ruined shell that had been Rafe’s body.

Both legs were gone below the knee, an arm at one elbow and the other at the armpit.

All had been cauterized, so Rafe didn’t bleed out.

Now it was time to see if he could remove Rafe’s sternum and keep him alive in the process.

He’d already removed the skin, flesh, and muscles, exposing the bones beneath.

Rafe hadn’t managed ten seconds before passing out from the pain.

There were other areas of Rafe’s body that Jinx had damaged or removed.

Bone lay exposed on Rafe’s thighs, the muscles twitching in the light.

Burns littered on what skin was left, nails on other areas where Jinx had hammered them in, a necklace of Rafe’s fingers lay around his neck and Jinx leaned over, flicking one and smiling when Rafe shuddered.

He would be dead soon, but not soon enough.

He could still feel pain before he met his maker, and Jinx intended to make sure Rafe did.

There was still one more thing he wanted to do, and that was to place electrodes to Rafe’s dick and balls, put a metal rod up his ass, then electrocute him.

Repeatedly. How many times would Rafe pass out?

He was dying, his body shutting down, so Jinx might not have much longer to play.

With that on his mind, Jinx grabbed what he needed and put them on Rafe.

When he held up the rod, Rafe whined softly, then grimaced when Jinx shoved it up his ass.

He didn’t bother to lube it first. Why should he?

He knew exactly what Rafe had done to the boys he’d kidnapped, and now he was getting a taste of his own medicine.

Once in place, he made sure there was plenty of water covering Rafe.

Grinning, he held up the picana, a device used to deliver electric shocks.

He’d have to start low and assess how Rafe reacted.

He didn’t want him dying too soon, even though he was barely clinging to life.

Thinking about that, Jinx paused. Maybe he shouldn’t do it.

He did want Rafe to live as long as possible.

Grinning, he shook his head. Rafe deserved to suffer as much as possible before finally dying.

Switching it on, he held it against Rafe’s dick and watched his body jerk and twist. He removed it and watched Rafe, seeing his labored breathing, the small tremors that rolled over his body.

Hitting him again, Jinx grinned at the sound Rafe made.

Not like he could scream now. Jinx was pretty sure Rafe had torn his vocal cords.

Not like Jinx cared. After a few seconds, he removed the picana and watched Rafe again.

He wanted Rafe to die, but Jinx still had plans, so he needed to make sure he stayed alive for a little while longer.

“I think that’s all you can handle. I don’t want you dying just yet. I have so much more I want to do you.”

Rafe groaned, and the sound made Jinx giggle. Turning to the table, he picked up the shears and skipped over to Rafe’s chest, eyeing the gleaming bones of his ribcage. He tapped one with the shears. “Time for these to go. I want to know if your heart will still beat when these are gone.”

There was no response, and Jinx paused to make sure Rafe was still alive.

He was, but his breathing was shallower than before, so Jinx knew he didn’t have long left to torture him.

Sighing because his fun was about to end, Jinx placed the shears around one rib, then cut.

Having done it a few times, he knew he had to apply pressure to cut through the bone and when he did, he heard the small moan Rafe gave and ignored it.

“Can I remove your rib, Rafe? Let’s see.

I’ve cut one end, so let’s do the other. ”

Jinx whistled as he cut it, then carefully pried it out.

At this point Rafe had passed out and Jinx held the rib in his hand, then casually threw it over his shoulder.

“Now what do I do? Do I wait for you to wake up, or do I just finish the job?” Jinx tapped his chin.

“Decisions. Decisions.” Nodding, he grinned.

“I want you awake when I kill you, so you know you’re about to take your last breath. ”

Picking up the water bottle, Jinx squinted at it. “Not much left but should be enough.” He threw it on Rafe’s face, watching him shudder and gasp and slowly open a blood-shot eye and look at him. “Don’t go to sleep. We still have so much to do.”

Rafe’s jaw moved from side to side, and he slurred, “Kill me.”

“What was that? I can’t tell, which reminds me. I really should cut out your tongue, but I do like listening to your screams.”

Jinx turned back to the table and carefully picked up a jug containing oil that he’d had over a flame.

He could see the bubbles in it and knew it was good enough for what he wanted to do.

Walking over to Rafe, he stood by his face.

“Time for one last scream.” He tilted the jug, letting the hot oil pour over Rafe’s neck, moving the stream up over his chin.

Rafe’s body bowed, a hoarse scream filling the air and as the oil reached Rafe’s eyes and his scream cut off, his body falling limp.

Jinx lowered his arm and watched Rafe’s chest move.

Up, down. Up, down. He held his breath, waiting for him to take another breath and when he didn’t, he placed two fingers on the artery in Rafe’s neck, feeling for a pulse.

When he couldn’t find one, he pouted. Rafe died far too soon, and he contemplated using the defib machine on him in case he could restart his heart.

Stepping back, he surveyed the damage he’d inflicted on Rafe’s body. “Well, shit. He’s dead. Fuck.”

Putting the jug of oil down, he released the bonds holding Rafe in place, then tipped his body onto the floor.

He giggled when it hit with a thud and a splash.

Looking down, Jinx saw all the blood and skin and flesh and exhaled.

“Gonna take me a while to clean this shit up, isn’t it, Rafe?

But I guess I have time now that you’ve kicked the bucket.

” Jinx kicked Rafe’s body and watched him settle back on the floor.

“My fun ended way too soon, but we did have a good time, didn’t we, Rafe?

Well, I did. You screamed and passed out.

” Jinx put his hands on his hips and looked around the room.

“Good thing I put all the plastic down. Your blood is everywhere and is that one of your lips stuck to it? Wow! That held on. I thought it would have fallen off, but nope. It lasted longer than you did.”

Moving to a corner of the room, Jinx grabbed the bleach spray and went back to the table.

“I’ll clean this off, then move it to one side.

Then I’ll grab all your bits and pieces and wrap you up in this plastic.

I have a nice hole for you in the woods where no one will find you.

I think I’ll burn you and everything else in the hole, then cover you. ”

Cleaning the table, Jinx made sure to thoroughly spray it all.

He removed the locks and belts he’d used to hold Rafe down.

He would bleach and burn them as well, then bury them with Rafe.

Once the table was clean, he moved it to one side of the room, then began to remove the plastic he’d used to cover the room.

Pulling it into the middle of the room, he let it rest on the floor before grabbing all the different parts of Rafe.

Throwing them on his remains, Jinx moved the plastic over him and carefully rolled him up in it.

Once the rest of the room was clear, Jinx grabbed the hose and began to clean the room and himself.

After he’d done that, he stripped naked and put the items on top of Rafe, then proceeded to wrap another layer of plastic over his clothes and the plastic wrapped Rafe.

He hosed the room down again, then grabbed some rope and used it to secure everything before stepping out of the room to grab what he needed to clean up.

Even though he’d been completely covered, Jinx always showered before dressing.

Using the hose, he carefully cleaned his body and made sure his hands and nails were clean, then he switched it off and stepped out of the room.

Grabbing a towel, he dried off, then dressed.

He threw the towel into a bag and went upstairs for something to eat.

“Fuck me, I’m hungry.” Sitting in his van, Jinx ate the sandwiches he’d packed and drank his soda as he watched birds fly overhead.

It was nice and peaceful at the cabin, and he sighed softly.

It was a good place to do what he did. No one could hear the screams, and Jinx could let his inner darkness out.

Good thing Craig didn’t know, and that was how it was going to remain.

He waited an hour before going back into the cabin and into the basement.

He put plastic covers on his shoes, then entered the room and walked around the wrapped up bundle that had once been Rafe.

Checking it, he saw it was good to go, and he picked it up, throwing it over his shoulder and standing.

Adjusting the weight, he left the room and went up the stairs, grunting under the weight.

“I need a better way to do this,” he muttered to himself.

Once at the top, he paused and readjusted Rafe, then went outside and threw him in the back of his van.

Blowing out his breath, he kicked whatever end of Rafe it was sticking out of his van inside and shut the doors, then went back inside and down the stairs.

In the room, he noted what needed to be done, then he switched the lights off and locked the room.

He locked the cabin and put the alarm on, then climbed into his van and drove away.

The hole he’d dug was only fifteen minutes away, but the terrain was rough, and Jinx bounced along as he drove to his destination.

When he arrived, he got out and checked the hole.

Seeing it was fine, and the wood and hay were still there, he nodded, then went to the back of the van and opened the rear doors.

He grabbed the end nearest to him and carefully pulled it out so he could once again carry it on his shoulder.

“You’re a heavy bastard, Rafe.” Jinx walked over to the hole and dumped Rafe in it, then went back to his van and grabbed the gas and a lighter.

“Any last words?” Jinx grinned, then poured the gas into the hole.

“Didn’t think so.” Jinx lit a wick then threw it into the hole, stepping back as the gas went up with a whoosh.

With the wood and hay he’d placed at the bottom, he knew there was enough to keep the flames going, and Jinx went back to his van and shut the rear doors before getting in the front and relaxing in his seat.

He’d stay to make sure everything burned, then he’d cover the body.

Good thing he had some cake to enjoy as he watched the flames.

Glancing at his home, he picked up and saw the number of missed calls and messages from Craig.

“Fuck.” He must have been with Rafe longer than he’d thought.

As soon as he was finished at the cabin, he’d call Craig and tell him he was ill or something.

The fire burned for quite some time, and when the flames eventually died down, Jinx got out of his van and checked the hole to see what was left.

Well, not a hole really. It was a grave, but someone like Rafe didn’t deserve a grave.

Picking up a branch, he poked at the melted burned mess and nodded. Good enough.

Grabbing his shovel, he covered the hole and patted it down, then threw some grass seeds over it.

In time it would disappear, and no one would know where Rafe and others like him were buried.

Now it was time to go back to the cabin and sort his tools out, then call Craig.

He could do the rest later. He had time.
