Page 10 of Bleed for You (Bloody Desires #6)

C raig lay on the bed, naked, skin damp with sweat and other things, watching a naked Jinx move around the bedroom.

His body ached, his ass twinged, and Craig smiled.

Jinx had fucked him twice more during the night, just as Craig had demanded, then again that morning, so he wasn’t going to complain if his body felt it.

Stretching his arms over his head, Craig watched Jinx get fresh clothes out of the closet, noticing the way his body moved, the strength in his muscles from his job. God, he was gorgeous, and all Craig’s.

“Want a shower?” Jinx asked. “I think we could both use one.”

“Is that so you can have your wicked way with me again?” Not that Craig would complain if Jinx did.

Jinx sauntered over to him, cock bobbing in front of him. God, the sight of it and Jinx made Craig’s mouth water, but he needed the shower first. His skin itched. Jinx dropped to his knees by the side of the bed and nuzzled Craig’s groin. “Would you say no if I did?”

“When do I ever say no?” Craig murmured as he ran his hand over Jinx’s head.

“We could have this every morning.” He felt Jinx tense and sat up, swinging his legs over the side of the bed, forcing Jinx to move back.

“Shower?” He smiled and stood, then walked into the bathroom.

Nothing of the hurt he felt showed on his face.

He knew how Jinx felt about them living together, but after two years, he’d hoped for more than weekends and the occasional night during the week.

Looked like he’d have to keep on hoping, for the time being.

Jinx leaned around him and switched the shower on then stepped up behind him, sliding his arms around Craig’s waist and pulling him back so Craig’s back rested on Jinx’s chest. It was nice, but part of Craig wondered if Jinx was doing this because he knew he’d upset him.

Craig leaned back and closed his eyes, listening to the shower and Jinx’s breathing.

Why did he have to fall in love with someone who clearly had commitment issues?

No, that wasn’t quite fair. Jinx didn’t stray.

Craig was certain of that, even though there were times when Craig couldn’t reach him.

Jinx didn’t want more than what they had right now, and Craig did.

If he wanted to remain with Jinx, then he had to accept this is what their relationship would be for the foreseeable future.

Who knew what could happen in the next few months?

Craig let Jinx maneuver him under the spray and stood with his eyes closed as Jinx washed him.

He thought about the night they’d met. In a certain club.

Craig had gone there because he knew he wanted something different.

Something his previous partners had been unable to provide for him, not that he had voiced those particular desires.

He’d been too afraid to say the words out loud.

Too scared of the reaction he’d receive if he admitted he wanted a Daddy.

That he wanted someone to take care of him so he could be the boy he wanted to be.

Standing by the bar in the BDSM club, sticking out like a sore thumb, unable to mingle like everyone else was, Craig had simply stared.

Men danced together, touched each other.

Like normal gay clubs, but there was more here.

A man with only a collar on, sucking another man’s dick as that man ran his hands over his bare ass.

Another kneeling next to a man who was clearly his Dom.

Then another man who had his boy sitting on his lap, pacifier in his mouth. Beautiful to Craig.

There was one drawback. He knew no one there, and he was too shy in himself to strike up a conversation with someone.

To say the words to them. Then he’d seen Jinx, and his world had tilted on his axis.

All tall and lean, with thick auburn hair.

The man walked so fluidly, appeared so sure of who he was, and when he saw Craig at the bar, he’d smiled.

That smile had made Craig catch his breath and duck his head, heat infusing his cheeks.

“Hey.” Hearing the deep, masculine voice, Craig had looked up, seeing Jinx standing in front of him, his hazel eyes focused only on him. “New here?”

“Yeah,” he’d mumbled, too afraid to say anything else, which wasn’t normal for him.

“Any reason why you’re here? In this club?”

Swallowing, Craig had nodded. “Er, yeah.”

“Want to get a drink and then we can talk?” Jinx had smiled and Craig held his breath. “What do you want?”

Craig had glanced around the room, tense and nervous. He’d licked his lips, then took a deep breath and murmured, “Are you a Daddy?” he ducked his head again, then quickly looked at Jinx, then away.

“I am.” A hand slid down his arm to his hand, then their fingers entwined. “Am I what you’re looking for?”

Craig nodded. “I don’t know much…”

“We’ll figure it out. There’s no rush, is there? We’ve just met. Let’s get to know each other first.”

Craig had let Jinx lead him to a table away from everyone.

He’d taken the seat next to Craig, had kept their hands together, smiled when Craig seemed hesitant to talk.

He’d talked about his job, which at first had made Craig sit back in surprise.

A grave digger? It was one of those jobs you never really thought about, and he’d told Jinx, who had chuckled as he’d nodded.

“Yeah, I get that, but you can’t dig out a grave with only a mini excavator. The ground needs to be prepared first, the sides stabilized. After the funeral, we need to cover up, you know.”

“I’m a draftsman.”

“Like an architect?”

“Not quite. Architects design buildings of all types, from tiny houses to towering skyscrapers and everything in between. Draftsmen turn the architect's ideas into highly detailed, technical drawings used to construct the buildings. So similar, but not.”

“I can’t even draw stick figures.” Jinx had laughed, but his eyes had remained fixed on Craig.

They’d talked for a while, then Jinx had leaned closer and kissed Craig, who responded immediately.

God, the man could kiss, and Craig had swooned, actually swooned.

He was certain he’d made some embarrassing sounds, but all Jinx had done was pull him closer.

They’d left not long after, and Craig had spent most of the night fucking Jinx.

And yes, the man could fuck as well, and then when they’d talked about Jinx being Craig’s Daddy…

perfect. Except for the commitment side of things.

Well, he kinda was committed to Craig. They were still together two years later.

The sex was still amazing, and Jinx was still the best Daddy.

But he wanted more. Was he being greedy for wanting more?

He let Jinx wash him, then turned around and sighed when Jinx kissed him soft and gentle on the lips. After switching the shower off, Jinx dried them both, then walked Craig into his room. “Ready?”

Craig nodded and watched Jinx get his boy briefs, T-shirt, and dungarees out of the closet. Craig smiled when Jinx dressed him, and let the change move over him. “Daddy.”

“Hungry, Dalton?”

“Yes, Daddy.”

Jinx took hold of Dalton’s hand and led him out of his bedroom and down the stairs.

In the kitchen, Jinx helped Dalton into his highchair and made sure he was secure, then went about making Dalton’s breakfast. Dalton watched, his legs swinging, a smile on his face.

Jinx put some bread in the toaster, then grabbed the butter and Dalton’s favorite topping, chocolate spread.

Jinx came over and kissed Dalton’s head, murmuring, “good boy for being patient. Your toast will be ready soon and with chocolate, too.”

“Yummy!” Dalton grinned, then sighed when Jinx pecked his cheek and ruffled his hair.

He watched Jinx spread butter and chocolate spread on his toast then cut it up into small pieces.

He placed the plastic plate with Dalton’s food on his highchair, then poured some milk into Dalton’s favorite sippy cup.

Jinx brought his own toast over and sat next to Dalton, watching him eat.

Dalton chewed his toast, smearing chocolate around his lips, then smiled when he saw Jinx’s arched eyebrow. “Nice?”

Dalton nodded and shoved another piece of toast in his mouth. “Nishe,” he mumbled around a mouthful of food.

“Not too much, Dalton. You don’t want to choke on your food.”

Dalton stopped shoving more toast in his mouth and chewed his food before swallowing.

He only put one piece in the next time, chewed it properly before swallowing.

Jinx watched and nodded, then sipped his coffee.

When Dalton finished his toast, he lifted his plate up and looked under, then demanded, “More, Daddy!”

Jinx chuckled. “Okay. I’ll make you one more piece of toast.”

“Aww. Two, Daddy!”

“Two?” Jinx took Dalton’s plate and moved over to the counter. “Are you sure you can eat another two, Dalton?”

Dalton nodded vigorously. “Yes, Daddy. Hungry.” Dalton grinned. “Hungry!”

Jinx chuckled again as he popped another two slices of bread in the toaster. “I can see you’re hungry, my boy.” Jinx came over and kissed Dalton’s forehead. “What kind of Daddy would I be if I didn’t feed my boy?”

Dalton lifted his head, and Jinx gave him the kiss he wanted. “Thank you, Daddy.”

“I love you, Dalton.” Jinx kissed his forehead again, then went back over to the counter to make Dalton’s extra toast. Dalton watched, his legs swinging, and grinned when Jinx came back with food.

No sooner had Jinx placed the plate in front of him, then Dalton had chocolate covered toast in each hand, cramming it into his mouth.

Dalton came over and took hold of one of his hands and pried the toast out. “One piece at a time, Dalton.”

Dalton gave him a chocolate smeared grin then popped a piece of toast in his mouth. Dalton shook his head, then glanced at his phone when it rang. Wagging his finger at Dalton, he went over to his phone and stared at the screen, a slight frown on his face, then answered it as he left the room.

Dalton tried to listen in, but Jinx kept his voice low so he couldn’t make out what was being said. When he came back in, he placed his phone on the counter and stared at it before facing Dalton and giving him a close-lipped smile. Dalton could sense the change in Jinx and mumbled, “Daddy?”

“Just a surprise job, my boy. Nothing to worry about.” Jinx sat next to Dalton and helped him finish his breakfast, then began cleaning up.

Dalton watched his Daddy and licked his lips.

“Now what does my boy want to do? Should we watch cartoons?” Jinx helped Dalton out of his highchair after cleaning his hands and face.

“I think one of Dalton’s cartoons might be on the TV soon. ”

Dalton took Jinx’s hand and let him lead him into the living room.

He sat next to him on the sofa and smiled when Jinx put on his favorite cartoon about a dog and a group of humans who solve crimes.

Dalton moved from the sofa and sat in Jinx’s lap, resting his head on Jinx’s chest as he sucked his thumb.

Jinx pulled him close and kissed the top of Dalton’s head.

Perfect, except Dalton still felt there was something different with his Daddy since the phone call.

They watched cartoons for a while, then Jinx carefully moved Dalton onto the sofa.

“I need to make a phone call. Stay here, my boy.” Dalton watched Jinx move into the kitchen and partially close the door, and he couldn’t stop the frown from developing.

He kept sucking his thumb, waiting for his Daddy to return, and when he did, he sat next to Dalton and put his arm over his shoulders, tugging Dalton into his side. “Want to watch a different cartoon?”

Dalton nodded. “Fireman!”

“Ahh, I know which one you want.” Jinx moved through the channels until the cartoon Dalton wanted came on. “This one?”

Dalton nodded and cuddled into Jinx’s side. “Yes, Daddy.”

They watched the cartoon and when it had finished, Jinx stood and held his hand out to Dalton. “Want to go to the park?”

Dalton nodded. He loved going to the park.

They always found a place away from everyone else so he could be who he wanted to be, and Jinx could still be his Daddy.

Jinx put a bag together with Dalton’s favorite snacks inside, then helped him get his sneakers and coat on.

Holding his hand, they left Jinx’s house and walked to his van where Jinx helped Dalton put his seat belt on.

Once Jinx got in and started the engine, he smiled and asked, “Ready?”

“Yes, Daddy.”
