Page 54 of Bend Him, Break Him
Six months later
As the fall semester came to a close, Colton buzzed with anticipation as he packed up for winter break.
For the first time since summer break—the minuscule vacation he squeezed in thanks to all his extra courses—he actually enjoyed going home.
Things were changing in his family. His mother was becoming a mom and taking a real interest in Colton.
In his identity. In his dreams. In his career goals.
She’d even made a point of saying how she planned to attend his games this spring.
Now, the real test would be if she actually showed up or not. But he suspected she would, given it’d offer her a chance to sit in the bleachers with Isaac, whose snippy, snarky, sour attitude meshed well with his mom.
They were like catty gossips together. As much as Colton rolled his eyes at their mean girl antics, he rather enjoyed how Isaac went out and about without making any fuss.
Fall break was the same. And Colton was hoping for a nice winter break with his boyfriend.
He’d found the perfect Christmas present and was already imagining Isaac unwrapping his gift.
Once he’d finished packing and tucked away his present—in case Isaac snooped through his belongings—he grabbed his things and headed over to Isaac’s apartment.
Given how long it’d take to get to his folks’ place, it saved time sleeping at the same place.
Plus, with the stress of the semester wrapping up, they hadn’t spent many nights together that didn’t involve grueling studying.
Colton knocked on the door when he arrived, and Isaac flung his door open, wearing frost-colored clothes.
All white with hues of blue. Given his slender frame and matching dyed hair, he was giving off Jack Frost vibes, and Colton found himself enamored.
His long-sleeve crop top had frayed edges and a deep V-cut rip that appeared to be added after the fact, given how the collar hung a little loose and wonky at Isaac’s neck.
A neck Colton couldn’t stop looking at since Isaac had gotten his new tattoo.
CAL was inked in forest green above the flames of Isaac’s phoenix tattoo on the left side of his neck.
The color choice was picked because Colton considered it his favorite.
Not that he spent a lot of time thinking about a favorite color, but since Isaac insisted, he went with his gut and chose the darker, lush green.
As for the letters…they stood for Colton Ashton Lennox.
Instinctively, Colton rubbed his neck on the opposite side, his right side, and thought about his matching tattoo that Isaac had convinced him to get. IMP was scrawled across Colton’s neck in a deep pink with extra black shading to outline the initials of Isaac’s name: Isaac Mathias Parker.
The tattoo was ridiculous and silly and such a jinx on their relationship. Seriously, couples should never get matching tattoos, a sentiment Colton continued believing despite how giddy his made him.
“Well?” Isaac huffed, an edge of annoyance on his face as his eyes flitted up.
Colton followed them and noticed the random bow sitting on top of Isaac’s head, nestled in his bleached hair with frosted blue highlights.
“Oh?” Colton raised his eyebrows. “What’s this?”
Isaac smirked, tilting his head so the glittery bow sparkled under the Christmas lights. A string of decorative lights Colton had covered the inside of Isaac’s apartment with because his boyfriend couldn’t bother with being festive. Or so Colton thought, but now this bow look was giving him ideas.
“I suppose you’re a present for me to unwrap.”
“Yeah.” He shrugged. “I might’ve gotten you a gift card, too, but figured you should be able to unwrap one present early.”
Colton chuckled, stepping in close to Isaac. He gripped Isaac’s slacks, immediately unfastening the button with his practiced hand as he kicked the door closed behind him.
“You can’t open it here,” Isaac whispered, teasingly leading Colton toward his bedroom.
This suggested Colton had less of a say in the gift he was about to receive. At first, he figured Isaac wanted a blowjob, which Colton would eagerly provide since finals had kept them both super busy, and Colton hadn’t gotten off with Isaac in a while. All studying and no fun.
“I wanted to get you something really, really special,” Isaac said, pushing Colton back onto the mattress and taking his time to undress.
Slowly, seductively, Isaac unhooked his suspenders, then let his baggy pants glide to the floor around his ankles.
“Hey!” Colton snapped. “You’re unwrapping my gift.”
Isaac shushed him. “Did I mention how impressed I was by your final grades this semester?”
Colton rolled his eyes, ignoring the heat in his face. Isaac always did annoying things like that, praising Colton for his work ethic, like any of it had to do with him. Colton knew he wouldn’t have passed his finals without Isaac’s intensive study regimens.
“Seriously, you aced your exams, passed six classes in one semester.”
“Yeah, and I am never taking six classes again.”
“Oh, yes, you are,” Isaac said with a stern glare. “Especially since you’ll be dropping to four in the spring.”
With baseball right around the corner, there was no way Colton could balance practice, games, and six classes. Four would be a headache enough. Plus maintaining the B average Isaac continued to insist Colton was capable of achieving.
Isaac shot Colton a look—a very assertive look that told him he needed to start undressing and catch up.
As Colton took off his shirt, Isaac slipped out of his slacks, making a little show of it.
Hell, he’d even wore a skimpy pair of boxer briefs that looked like something out of Colton’s wardrobe.
They definitely weren’t, though, considering how skintight they were around Isaac.
“Well?” Isaac slid his thumbs around the elastic band of his underwear.
“I have to undress first?” Colton unfastened his pants, kicking them off along with his underwear and tossing them onto the floor. “This is feeling less and less like a gift for me and more like a you gift.”
“That so?” Isaac slowly stripped off his boxer briefs until he stood naked at the end of the bed.
Colton didn’t respond; he just waited silently.
When Isaac slowly crawled onto the bed, he half expected him to grab Colton by the ankles and roll him onto his stomach.
When he reached his waist, he thought maybe he’d spin him around and rim Colton.
When his lips nearly pressed to Colton’s, he expected Isaac to collapse onto him, grinding and kissing and rolling around the bed until they fucked.
These were all things Colton had experienced and enjoyed with Isaac, yet none of his normal moves came into play. The silence, the anticipation… It excited Colton, making his dick perk up a bit.
Isaac straddled Colton, letting his bare ass brush against Colton’s stiffening cock. That nearly made Colton leap.
“For your gift, I thought it was time you showed me what an excellent pitcher you are.”
“Wait, what?” Colton sprang up, hands wrapping around Isaac’s waist so he didn’t jostle him off. “Are you serious?”
“What do you say, not-so-little pitcher?”
Colton gulped. It hadn’t ever been something he considered.
Isaac was very much nonstop top guy energy, and Colton liked taking on the more submissive role.
Usually, when he was feeling assertive, he’d just fuck Isaac’s face.
They’d grown into a very back-and-forth flow when it came to oral.
But with anal… Colton wasn’t sure where to begin.
“Are you sure?”
Isaac nodded. “I know it’s something I said I wasn’t interested in. And that remains true. Mostly.”
“But?”
“But—pun intended,” Isaac said with a soft laugh until Colton made a sour face.
Colton worried this was leaning on the verge of a learning moment. “No fancy talking.”
“Fine.” Isaac smirked. “I can’t stop thinking about it. Wondering. Craving. Wanting you inside me. I want to feel you in every way, and I want you to feel me, too. If you’re comfortable exploring this side—”
“Hell yeah!” Colton playfully tossed Isaac off him and pinned him beneath him on the bed.
Their lips mashed, and Colton rubbed his hands across Isaac’s skin, imagining every sensation he’d elicit, every sound. Their bodies pressed against each other, moving rhythmically as Colton lost himself in the taste of Isaac’s mouth.
When they rolled back onto their sides, Isaac pulled away just enough to take a breath.
“Someone’s energetic.” Isaac rolled onto his stomach, positioning himself slightly but leaving room for Colton to make adjustments.
If he were anything like Isaac, Colton would be bending him to just the right angles. In truth, Colton didn’t know what to do next. How much he wanted to assert himself.
Delicately, Colton traced his fingertips down Isaac’s back.
The tremble it elicited from Isaac excited Colton, stirring an eagerness inside him.
As his hand reached the small of Isaac’s back, he let his palm rest there for a moment, guiding and demanding an arch from his boyfriend.
Isaac obediently moved, turning his head so his piercing blue eyes met Colton’s.
Resting on his side, he continued running his hand down Isaac’s backside.
First, he cupped Isaac’s right cheek, admiring his little bubble butt.
Then, he traced his fingers further, running them along the hairs on the back of Isaac’s thigh.
Christ, his thighs were so muscular despite how slender he was overall.
Isaac’s frame had always been solid, but since joining Colton regularly at the gym, he’d become this compact muscle twink. Well, not a twink exactly, but Isaac certainly wasn’t a jock either. There had to be a word for it.
“What’s so funny?” Isaac asked.
Colton shook his head, burying his musings and sitting up to position himself behind Isaac.
“It’s nothing,” he answered. “Just nerves is all.”
“Don’t be nervous. I’m not.”
