Page 32 of Bend Him, Break Him

Isaac had begun to lose himself in the routine he had established for Colton.

Their days spent together were supposed to be compensation for his time lost lurking in the shadows for Colton’s convenience, supposed to be an acknowledgment of the control he surrendered, supposed to be some warped revenge, but Colton liked the authority used on him, and Issac liked how much Colton enjoyed submitting.

Their arrangement was no longer held in check by Isaac’s devious actions, though part of him clung to the fact none of this would’ve happened without his hatred.

A hate he still couldn’t let go of when he spent time with Colton.

It didn’t burn quite as hot, but he found himself too paranoid, too bitter, too Isaac to simply release the past and take pleasure in the now.

“Looks like we’re gonna have to wrap this up,” Colton said quite mischievously as he pulled Isaac from his stirring thoughts. “I know it’s important to study. Lesson learned. I can’t wait until the next one.”

Since Colton couldn’t handle independent study sessions, Isaac took it upon himself to assist with the occasional tutoring. Colton wasn’t stupid, but he definitely leaned into that mentality and allowed himself to flounder. That irked Isaac to no end.

“We’re not finished.” Isaac pointed to the chapters Colton had left to review, the equations he hadn’t even begun, and then opened his blank Word document to show Colton still hadn’t created a thesis statement. “You don’t even know your topic yet, which you need in order to pick out your sources.”

“It’ll be fine. I’ll just wing it. That usually works.”

“I’ve read your winging it papers; they suck.”

“The best guys do,” Colton said with extra sass.

He hadn’t gotten to the point of public pride about his sexual exploits, which meant Isaac had to endure an extra layer of bravado when they were alone. After all, Colton only had Isaac to brag to about his dick-sucking skills, among his many other newly acquired talents.

“Look, I know you wanted an updated schedule, and I’m not complaining…much.” Colton swiveled in the office chair, rocking a bit until his knee pressed between Isaac’s legs. “But, per your schedule, we should be moving on to other things.”

Isaac had added two days of tutoring in his dorm room, which coincided with time they could then use for screwing. It was convenient to schedule them back-to-back since they’d already be in Isaac’s room.

“I don’t need to schedule sex,” Isaac said, pushing Colton’s leg away and turning him back to the desk.

“Yet you’re the one who did.” Colton huffed, pissy because he’d grown accustomed to getting his way when it came to intimacy. Sure, he submitted to Isaac’s whims, but as the slack of his emotional collar loosened, Isaac gave Colton more and more control, more voice during their hookups.

And yes, Isaac still had sex on the busy schedule he’d concocted for Colton, but it was more a reminder. So much of his time was spent on the mundane day-to-day tasks with Colton that sometimes, Isaac almost lost himself to the idea of an actual relationship, which this most certainly was not.

“Look, I can screw you whenever I want, whenever is convenient for me and my cock,” Isaac hissed with a deep breathy voice on the back of Colton’s ear.

The quiver it provoked sent a rush of heat spiraling through Isaac.

“But I can’t fuck you if you fail out by midterms, so get your ass in gear and take these study sessions seriously.”

Colton groaned, dramatic and whiny and slightly similar to how he’d act in high school when butting heads with the rare teacher who challenged the academic slack offered to the athletes of the school.

“So, nothing’s happening today?”

Isaac took long, slow blinks, staring at Colton’s irritated expression.

“Not a damn thing?”

“Something’s gonna happen.”

“Oh?” Colton twirled his pencil. “Do tell.”

“Well, if you work hard and diligently,” Isaac dragged out the words slowly, letting Colton’s imagination fill in the pieces.

The green in Colton’s eyes shimmered as he possibly predicted that, with solid effort, he could still end his evening getting off.

“By showing how dedicated you are…” Isaac whispered, knowing his breathy words on the back of Colton’s ears only further tantalized and teased him. “Then today, what will happen is that you’ll learn something.”

“Learn you’re a boring tease.”

“What? You said nothing was happening right now.” Isaac tapped the textbook. “We’ve got lots of stuff going on right now.”

Colton dropped his head onto the textbook and lay there unmoving, just pouting until he realized Isaac didn’t care.

With his tantrum slightly curbed, Colton returned to his assignments and pestered Isaac every five minutes with a question.

Even with things he already comprehended.

Isaac was certain this was Colton’s bratty behavior showing.

Perhaps too much leeway from Isaac as of late, or maybe a test to see if he could rouse Isaac into teaching him manners instead of coursework.

In either case, Isaac would reprimand Colton later.
