Returning to Piper felt like landing into a comfortable but itchy blanket. I knew that we hadn’t exactly accomplished much in our trip to D.C. but Kroven assured me that if Exo and Wallace said they were coming to Piper, then they were coming here to see how bad the blood centers were for themselves. The only thing we had to do was wait.
Which sucked, by the way. Two weeks went by before Kroven had heard word that Exo and Wallace were finally making their way to Piper. In that time, I’d been working a lot because there were sangamar that were braving the blood center, despite the protestors growing larger and larger in size. They were still scared, of course, but I was covering shifts in both the Orb and human wing, since there weren’t quite enough Orbs to warrant all of us working full-time yet.
The day before Exo and Wallace were coming to Piper, I was at home after a rigorous twelve hour shift. I’d been working a lot of those because I wanted to help as much as I could, something Babs wouldn’t stop praising me for. I updated her on Wallace coming to Piper. That was partly why I felt like she kept putting me on the schedule and kept asking me to work late, so she wouldn’t miss a single notice about Wallace’s impending trip to our city in need.
Kroven and I hadn’t had much time together. We’d shared dinner at his place once, gone through a stroll in the park, and fucked back at my place one night when he’d surprised me after work. It’d been a little over a week since I’d seen him and I had to admit that I was craving my Kroven.
A knock on the door broke me out of the book I was reading on my iPad while lounging on the couch. Thayer was working, so I had the place to myself like usual, which had been a godsend lately with all the late hours I’d been working. I made my way over to the door, looking through the peephole and smiling wide. As if summoned from the confines of my thoughts, Kroven was waiting outside my door.
With a stupid grin on my face, I unlocked the door and opened it to see him beaming back at me.
“Hey, stranger.”
“Come in.” I laughed, gesturing for him to hurry up and get over to me. I wrapped him in a hug, throwing my arms around him as I ambled backward away from the door. He shut it quickly and started kissing my neck “I see someone’s missed me.”
“Always,” He purred, holding my chin in his hand so he could kiss my jaw. “I know you’ve been working crazy hours and I thought I’d see just how tired you were.”
“Oh never too tired for that.” I started shucking off the lounge shorts I had on, but Kroven started losing it, laughing and helping me pull them back up.
“As much as I would love a quick date with you and your bedsheets, I was thinking about an actual date.”
“Oh.” I flushed, my face burning with embarrassment. I covered my face. “Way to jump the gun, Bas. ”
“It’s fine,” Kroven snickered. “But I was wondering if you’d indulge me by going on one of those classic human dates of going to the movies with me.”
“A movie sounds wonderful.” It was still early enough that we could grab dinner, but a part of me just wanted to pig out and eat junk food at the movie theater with my boyfriend. “There’s a new horror movie playing that I’ve had my eye on. Let me get dressed real quick and we can go.”
After throwing on a cute pink polo and a decent pair of black jeans, we made our way down the busy strip that Thayer and I lived on and ducked into the movie theater. For as close as we lived to it, we didn’t see nearly enough movies, so Kroven bringing up a movie date was just what I needed.
I’d mentioned wanting to see a horror movie that was playing, but that didn’t feel particularly date worthy, and I wanted Kroven to have the full blown stereotypical movie date experience. He bought us tickets to a romantic comedy that the theater was showing, and we ended up taking seats in the very back row. We had the entire row to ourselves and I sure as hell wasn’t going to complain. We’d gotten a few inquisitive stares holding hands throughout the theater and I felt relieved to know that those stares weren’t going to continue throughout the movie.
Sipping on the lemonade he’d gotten for me, I glanced over to see the look of content radiating off of his face. He looked so happy to be doing something that was the norm for humans, and I felt his hand snake into mine as I set my lemonade down.
“Thank you for indulging me, Bas.” He said as the previews droned on in the background. “I’ve always wanted to do something like this but obviously never thought I’d be doing it with anyone, let alone a human.”
“Happy to oblige.” My smile turned into a sneer as I leaned closer to him. “With any other fantasies you may have too.”
Grumbling with the beginnings of laughter, Kroven craned an arm around me, his arm resting across my shoulders and behind my head, just like in the movies. I was impressed he had this much knowledge about dates at the movie theater. Clearly, he’d been wanting to do something like this for a while now.
The movie soon started, and I snuggled up close to Kroven while we watched it. It was enough to keep my interest, but I really was just savoring the fact that I was able to take the time to do something like this with him. I felt so extremely lucky to be with such an incredible guy. The fact that he wasn’t human didn’t factor into anything, despite the rumblings of hate that were running rampant through Piper right now. Kroven was my safe space, my sanctuary. Even with what he’d shared with me before pertaining to his past and the guilt he still held about it, I couldn’t think of a safer place for my heart to be than in his hands. He meant the world to me. And after getting up at five in the fucking morning today then working an entire twelve hour shift, I deserved this. Kroven deserved this. We deserved to be as happy as any a human couple.
All the gratitude must have gone to my head, because I suddenly had such a wicked thought, my eyes squinted in delight. It wasn’t particularly dastardly, but it would definitely play into Kroven’s date fantasy and I was all about satiating that for him.
I leaned in close so he could hear me. “You know, sometimes people make out during the movie.”
When I moved back to gauge his reaction, I was met with a twisted grin. “Well, I do want the full experience.”
Kroven grabbed my jaw in his hand, forcing me to tilt it towards him as we leaned in close. Our lips crashed together like battling waves, and the heat in my belly burned its way through my body until my dick started straining against the zipper of my jeans. Tongues tangling together, I let my hand drift into his blond hair.
I felt Kroven really getting into it as he rubbed my chest through my polo, gripping at my pecs like his life depended on it. We were careful to stifle the sounds of our kissing as much as possible while the heroine of the film talked about getting the guy back. At least, I assumed something like that was happening, but I was way too preoccupied by his purple tongue sliding in harmony with my pink one.
His hand slowly crept lower, our make out still hot and heavy in the best way. Kroven’s fingers trailed down my stomach, stopping only when they met the beginnings of my jeans and I growled into his mouth when I felt the heavy pressure of his palm pressing into my bulge. I didn’t care if people heard us at this point. I wanted Kroven so fucking bad I feared my dick was bruising from being kept inside its denim asylum.
Fingers slid my zipper down abruptly, and I broke our kiss to watch Kroven fish my cock out through the hole in my underwear until it emerged through the open zipper of my jeans. Without giving me a single second to chastise him for waving my bare dick around in the dark of a semi-crowded movie theater, he simultaneously dove down onto my cock as he sprung a hand to clamp around my mouth. I was eternally grateful that he had because there was no stopping the immense groan that collapsed out of me as his tongue swirled underneath the head of my cock. He slid down my shaft in quick succession, suctioning my dick until it was sufficiently slobbered on. Only then did he lift off my dick, careful not to make a popping sound as his hand wrapped back around me and began to jack me off. His fist was now slick from his spit and I knew I wasn’t going to last long. Sensing my climax, Kroven removed his hand from my mouth and replaced it with his tongue, our make out resuming just as I started grunting up into his fist. My balls were drawing up in record speed and I moaned insensibly as cum started firing out of my cock, several spurts landing with softened thuds on the smooth granite of the theater floor .
He continued to pump me while he kissed me, a few weaker pulses of cum dribbling down his hand and down my shaft. Once I wasn’t howling into his mouth, he kissed me softly before pulling away. He used his fist to collect whatever cum hadn’t Jackson Pollocked all over the floor, making sure there wasn’t any on my jeans or nestled in my pubes before bringing his fist to his mouth. Kroven sucked my cum off his hand, allowing me glimpses of that heavenly purple tongue as it sought to clean his hand. He swallowed the remains of my load with a titled smirk, leaning over to tuck me back into my pants without a word. I didn’t feel like I was back in my body until I heard him pulling my zipper back up.
Kroven grabbed my lemonade and sucked down a few gulps, to get rid of the semen taste, I imagined, and then he looked at me, disheveled and melting into the seat. He covered his mouth to hide his laugh, but I poked him in the ribs and careened my body over the armrest to yell at him, in a hushed whisper, of course.
“You know, the tradition is to just make out at the movie.”
“Is that complaining I hear?”
The growl was still detectable in his voice, and it made my dick want to will itself back to life. I couldn’t deny how fucking hot that had been. “…No.”
He turned to whisper directly into my ear. “Good boy.”
I managed to keep my whimper to myself, swatting Kroven’s arm playfully. He laughed again to himself, putting his arm back around me while we got ourselves situated to continue watching the movie.
It went by fairly fast, and was a nice little rom-com with a nice beautiful ending, but I could’ve done with more gore or at least a single queer character in the film but overall it was an enjoyable watch. I ended up taking the handful of napkins Kroven had been smart enough to grab and wiped my load off the floor as the lights were coming back on when the movie finished. The last thing I needed was to explain to an usher how the hell that had happened.
Even if I did keep replaying it in my head.
