A PROCLAMATION,

FOR THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE IMPENDING BEGINNING OF A NEW SOL CYCLE

Be it proclaimed that this Felfrost Day, in the year 4319 E.C., marks seven daybreaks until the dawn of the 432nd Sol Cycle.

Any child born within this upcoming Gilded Year holds the potential to receive the highest honor in all of Felviran: hand-selection by Lux, Goddess of Discovery, for possessing the traits deemed worthy of ruling our lands.

It is of utmost importance that every newborn Ethera during this sacred time be thoroughly inspected for the aureate sun marking—a sign designating them as one of the twenty hallowed members of the 432nd generation of the Sunchosen. Should a child bear the golden kiss of Lux, their guardians must escort them without delay to the Bronze Palace, where they will receive immediate protection and training.

Let it be remembered that the Sunchosen are the Triad’s gift to Altaerra—our own Divine champions among us—and are to be shielded by the full severity of the law. Any interference with this undertaking, the completion of the Trials, or the welfare of a Sunchosen is considered a direct affront to the Divine and will be punished accordingly.

For their protection against the greed and depravity of the outside world, they will remain within the sanctuary of the Bronze Palace until the Trials of the Sun commence on their 28th year, when each will claim their rightful role on the Altaerran Council.

Prestigious invitations to the 432nd Trials of the Sun will be issued at the beginning of the 28th year of this new Sol Cycle, marking the Sunchosen’s formal debut into society.

The Helioath Ceremony, where the newly appointed Sunchosen will take their seats on the Altaerran Council, will follow two years later.

Any falsification of this sacred identity, Sunchosen status, or their marking will result in immediate imprisonment.
