I sweep up my phone, noticing the same text that was sent to Andrea, as he summarizes the words I’m reading. Alessandro wants to have the wedding tonight, asking us to come over and get them ready, then stay to party. Of course, we’ll do that!

I drag Luci’s dress inside when we arrive at Alessandro’s house, unsure if they’ve arrived yet. When I knock on the door, it’s Marco standing on the other side.

“Damn. I didn’t know dresses could walk.” Fucking. Marco. He’s right, though. I’m sure by his angle, I’m swallowed by Luci’s dress.

“Move out of my way, you jackass.” I shove my way past him while Andrea follows me in, escorting me upstairs to prevent me from tripping. Alessandro’s things are still here from four months ago, while Luci’s dress needed slight alterations.

After about four thousand stairs, we’re finally on the third floor bedroom. I spend ten minutes hanging up her dress, laying out her accessories, and setting out what we used for her makeup trial run. I’m unpacking which hair tools we will need for today, when Marco the caveman barges in, interrupting my process.

“I’m tired of your fucking attitude.” Seriously? This shit again?

I slam down the hair accessory I’m currently holding and whip myself toward him. “Don’t even try me. You do the same shit to me! None of this is new.”

“Yeah, but it’s annoying when you do it to me. It’s hilarious when I do it to you.” When the hairpiece I slammed down on the desk catches my eye, a thought pops into my head. This could potentially do major damage to his equipment. If used correctly, of course. One day, he’ll push me to the point where I’ll castrate him. Maybe I’ll put it in a shadow box and mail it to him for Christmas. Then he will have a reminder not to be a dick since he doesn’t have one. Symbolic, right?

"Mon trésor? Luci and Alessandro pulled up to the house.”

Marco left the door ajar when he busted in, allowing Andrea to open the door. The second the door is open, I shove my way past Marco, trying to be the first one downstairs.

The first thing I notice about Luci when I open the door is her baby bump, running full speed toward her. She’s fucking adorable!

“Luci! Come here, babe! Oh my god, you’re ridiculously hot while pregnant. I wonder if I’d be that hot pregnant. Andrea, what do you think?” I turn to Andrea as he walks in my direction. Behind him is a pissed-off Marco. What’s new?

Andrea wraps me in his arms, kissing the back of my neck as he responds. “Whatever you want, mon trésor. I’d spend every moment giving you my child. All you’d have to do is ask.” Ugh!My ovaries are ready to explode with the thought of having Andrea’s babies.

Alessandro breaks me out of my trance when he reminds me that I need to get Luci ready for her wedding.

After an hour and a half on the dot, I leave Luci alone, allowing her some privacy to gather her thoughts before she becomes a married woman. Marco bombards me again the second I reach the downstairs landing.

“We didn’t finish our conversation earlier.” You have got to be kidding me.

“What conversation? You walked your dumb ass in and started yelling at me. There is no conversation.” Marco steps up to me, standing close enough that I can feel the heat radiating off his body. His cologne immediately invades my senses, and my nipples immediately harden. Traitorous bitches. His annoyed groan vibrates in his chest, connecting through my body. This doesn’t help calm my tits.

“I’m convinced Andrea isn’t doing his job correctly since you’re such a raging brat twenty-four-seven. Maybe if he fucked you right, you’d be more agreeable.” Is he serious?

“I should castrate you for that thought alone. Andrea does his job perfectly. Zero complaints from me. Thank you very much!” I say through gritted teeth.

“Are you? I vividly remember making you come several times with my mouth. Can Andrea do that? I haven’t seen him do that. Is that why you two hook up with other men? So you can come by someone else’s dick, hands, or mouth.” Again, is he serious?

“Andrea knows my body like I know the back of my hand. And if I remember correctly, he’s made you come, too. Don’t think I didn’t see him on New Year’s Eve between your legs and the night of the bachelor party when you looked directly at him before you came. Stop denying it. You’re attracted to him.” His lip twitches before he speaks again.

“All of this brings me back to my initial point. Don’t you think it's strange that you twobothneed another man to help please each other? Is he not enough for you? Or are you not enough for him?”

I lean into one foot as I cross my arms over my chest. If he says one more dumbass thing. I challenge him, wondering if he’s as stupid as I think he is. “What the fuck does that mean?”

“You heard me. Or did those ears stop working?” Fucking. Marco.

“You piece of shit!” My hand comes flying at his face as I slap him as hard as I can. I stomp away from him, not missing how the pain radiates through my palm. How dare he say something stupid about our relationship! Especially something he was a willing and eager participant in.

The wedding is about to start when I find Andrea and pull him in for a kiss, showing him the intense hunger behind our love. Andrea holds my face in his hands when he pulls away, stroking my jawline with his thumb. I don’t miss how his eyes gleam at me like I rule the world.

“What was that for?” He knows that this kiss is different from what we’ve shared in the past. It’s passionate but not filled with lust. It’s hard without being aggressive. And it’s filled with love without being sappy.

“No reason. I love you with every piece of my soul, Andrea. I’ll never understand how you chose me out of everyone in this world, but I’ll never question it. You’re the most amazing man I’ve ever known, and I cannot wait for our future together.” Ibring him in for another kiss, not giving him space to ask if I’m okay.

While I hate Marco, I will never tell Andrea what he said. It’s cruel, unnecessary, and filled with hate. Andrea doesn’t deserve any of those words fed to him.
