Story: Too Hard to Resist
‘I also love spending time with you. You make me happy.’
‘You definitely do that too. I swear, your cock has ruined me for life!’ I laughed.
‘So this is all about sex for you?’ His face fell.
‘It isn’t for you?’ I said, trying to play it cool.
‘No.’ His expression hardened. ‘The connection is deeper and you know it. If it was just sex, it would be much easier.’
‘Okay,’ I sighed. ‘You got me. Itismore than sex, but you’re here and I’m going back to London. I just don’t know how it can work long-term.’
We both stared at each other in silence for what felt like hours but was only seconds.
‘I wish I had an answer,’ Romeo said. ‘The sensible thing to do would be to stop things now, before we get any deeper.’
‘Been there, done that, worn the T-shirt. Last time we said we’d keep our distance we ended up fucking on your boat.’
‘So we continue?’ he asked.
‘Yeah.’ I shrugged. ‘I’ve only got a few days left here, so we might as well. And after that, well. I guess we have to cross that bridge when we come to it.’
‘Sì. So until then, we just enjoy every moment of our time together. Agreed?’
‘Agreed.’
I knew it wasn’t the best solution, but right now, it was all that we had.
Romeo had said that we should live in the moment, and as he leant down to kiss me and I melted into him, I knew that was exactly what I intended to do.

As the last guest left the restaurant, I exhaled. I loved my job, but today felt longer than usual.
After spending my time off with Sammie, it had been hard to go back to a normal routine.
Somehow things did not feel right without her.
Yesterday I had dropped Sammie off outside the hotel again and I saw her briefly at breakfast today. But I had spent most of the day in my office and attending meetings to make sure that everything was organised for the guests’ final night tomorrow.
The couples were responsible for choosing how they wanted to spend their last evening, but it was my job to make their dream night a reality. If they wanted a romantic dinner on the beach, I had to liaise with the Cuisine King and his team to create the menu and organise the setting.
Every guest’s requests were different, so there was a lot of preparation involved. I was only able to spend an hour at the restaurant for dinner service because after two days off there was a lot to catch up on. That meant that I had not had time to chat to Sammie for long when she came for dinner either.
But I had messaged to ask if she wanted to meet after my shift ended. Perhaps we could go for a drive. I did not care what we did as long as we spent time together.
Once I had collected my things from my office, I texted Sammie to check that she still felt comfortable walking outside of the hotel where I would meet her.
When her message popped up on the screen, a wide grin spread across my face.
Sammie
Yep! See you in ten xx
A jolt of excitement shot through me. I quickly drove to the agreed meeting place and parked up.
Right on time, I saw Sammie walking towards me. Even though the road was only lit by streetlights, I could already see that she looked beautiful. But she would still look amazing even if she wore a rubbish bag.
