GREY
I lift my hips when he tells me.
I open wider when he urges me.
I take more when he fills me.
And through it all, I realize I still can’t find the end of my love for him.
This is where I was meant to be. Right or wrong, I get to live in a world where I can love and be loved.
It’s magic. Pure magic.
Zane wraps his hands tighter around my thighs. Our past encounters did not prepare me for this. His wrist is healed now, and what he could do to my body with one hand was just a taste of what he can do with two.
He pushes my legs apart even further. The glorious sweep of his tongue sends flames spreading like wildfire across my skin.
My fingers twist tighter into the sand of the mountain. When I lift my filthy hands to dig in his hair, my palms are muddy, sand having mingled with my sweat.
“Zane…” His name rips out of me. Is this how he plans to kill me? Will we be buried together, naked limbs intertwined and faces frozen in carnal grimaces.
I moan, grabbing at his hair, the sand, the stars.
But he doesn’t stop.
His onslaught is endless.
I don’t know if I can survive the night. What number is this? I’ve lost track of how many times he’s wrung pleasure from me.
He’s inhuman.
A monster.
And yet I find myself spread eagle before the monster again, begging for more through kiss-swollen lips as every part of me winds tight.
I’m completely at his mercy.
Usually, that would scare me, but instead I’m invigorated.
I yank on his hair, my grip tight enough that he can feel my desperation. “Please.”
Zane groans a command in my ear before he drags me in place, and finally delivers mercy. His fingers dig into my hips, his grip on my body almost punishing. His dark hair falls in his eyes, limp with sweat. His mouth whispers filthy words in my ear before those words turn to filthy, hot kisses.
I fall apart beneath his hands, exploding with a mind bending cry that he inhales like oxygen. It’s a blissful euphoria that makes me weightless. I’m a feather carried on the wind until his arms close around me, anchoring me back to earth.
I’m still boneless as I come back to myself.
Zane cradles my face and delivers a soft, loving kiss on my lips. He pulls back, watching my face. I shiver. Now that he’s not on top of me, I can feel the mountain winds wrapping around my naked body.
“You with me, tiger?” Zane asks, sitting up and pulling me between his legs. The wind stops at his back and I hunker in.
Cradled against his chest, it feels a bit warmer but the blanket is a sticky mess and it makes it hard to find a comfy spot to sit.
When Zane sees me scooting my butt around, he plucks me up like I weigh nothing and sets me on his lap. Next, he grabs his dress shirt and spreads it over me like a jacket.
“Thanks.” Looking up at him, I ask, “Aren’t you cold?”
He shakes his head. “Not really.”
