Story: Promises We Meant to Keep
“Yeah.” That was one good thing to come out of this situation. Kamryn smiled at that thought. It did allow them to have moments like this.
“Just use your fingers, Kam, and then we’ll go to sleep.”
“Good.” It was getting harder to keep her eyes open, the orgasm doing exactly what it was supposed to do and stealing the last vestiges of her energy. Kamryn moved her hand between Elia’s legs, glad when Elia parted her knees and propped one leg up to give Kamryn easier access. “I can’t wait to fall asleep in your arms.”
“Me either,” Elia replied. She clasped her arm around Kamryn’s neck and kissed her hard, their lips pushing into each other. “Fuck me, Kam.”
Not having to be told twice, Kamryn slid two fingers deep inside Elia. She was soaking, and her juices pooled onto Kamryn’s palm, which was exactly what Kamryn needed. She pulled out slightly and wet Elia’s clit before she started grinding the heel of her palm against Elia’s clit and tapping the fingers inside her.
The pace Kamryn started was brutal. This wasn’t meant for slow and sexy, for lingering in touches. This was meant as a relief of pent-up emotions and sexual tension and frustration. This was meant for comfort and release. And they were both going to get exactly what they wanted. Elia tightened her grip around Kamryn’s shoulders, pulling her upper body into Kamryn as her own pleasure intensified.
Kamryn could see it, not just in the way she moved but in the intensity of her gaze, in the brilliance of her smile, in the way Elia breathed rapidly and the rush of red to her cheeks from the exertion. Kamryn moved in harder and faster. She watched with rapt attention as Elia got closer to the pinnacle, closer to where they both wanted her to be. It was beautiful to watch—in fact, Kamryn wasn’t sure she’d ever seen something as wonderful as this before in her life.
Each time Elia pressed against her, each time Elia allowed her to touch and taste and bring pleasure, it amazed her. Kamryn was in complete awe, and she wanted so much more for each of them. She never wanted to stop this.
Elia let out a small groan, and Kamryn grinned in response. She pressed kisses against Elia’s cheeks and neck, to her lips. Elia clasped tightly onto Kamryn’s back, pulling her in and pressing their mouths together in a wild, passionate embrace.
“S-slow down,” Elia whispered.
Kamryn eased up on the movements, finally able to feel Elia pulsing against her, the clenching of her body around Kamryn’s fingers a sweet embrace that she’d been looking for. Kamryn hummed her own pleasure as she kissed Elia’s parted lips quickly.
“Please say you’re staying the night,” Kamryn said.
“Yeah, I’m staying,” Elia answered, her chest still rising and falling rapidly as she lay back on the bed. She smiled as she stared up at Kamryn. “That was good.”
“Wait until you see what I can do next time.” Kamryn winked. “But not tonight. Too tired tonight.”
Elia nodded her understanding. Kamryn forced herself to half-sit up and she reached for the bottom of the bed for the blanket. She was about to curl around Elia when Elia opened her arms, inviting Kamryn to snuggle into her side.
Lying next to Elia, Kamryn closed her eyes and absorbed her scent, her warmth, her comfort. She rested and relaxed to the feel of Elia’s fingers in her hair, combing through the long strands lovingly. Kamryn was going to stay here for as long as possible. She didn’t want to get up and leave. She wanted this.
Simple love.
And promises of more.

“This house is gorgeous!” Kamryn’s jaw dropped as Elia opened the door to her mother’s home.
She hadn’t expected this kind of reaction, but it was so nice to see at the same time. Elia stepped outside into the lightly falling snow and wrapped her arms around Kamryn’s shoulders before kissing her. “I’m glad you got here safe.”
“Uh-huh. Seriously, Elia, this house is amazing.”
It was a small cottage-style house in Western Massachusetts. Elia had grown up there, and her mom still lived there. Though she had thought about moving after Elia’s dad passed away ten years ago.
“Come on.” Elia took Kamryn’s hand and led her into the house. She pulled Kamryn into the kitchen where her mother sat at the dining room table with Abagail. “Mom, this is Kam. Kam, this is my mom, Janet.”
“It’s good to meet you.” Kamryn held her hand out and shook Janet’s.
Elia kept her hand locked in Kamryn’s. It’d only been two days since they’d seen each other, but it felt far longer. Elia had been spending most of her free time with Kamryn, and since they were still co-leading the Speech team and it was the heightof the season, they were rarely apart aside from the eight hours in the middle of the day when they were at work.
“Nice to see you again,” Kamryn said to Abagail, nodding at her.
Abagail flicked her gaze down from Elia’s face to her joined hands with Kamryn and hardened. She’d been acting so odd lately, ever since the drama at the school had mostly resolved and since Elia hadn’t followed her plan to a T. It was strange. Elia couldn’t remember a time when they were at odds as much as they were lately.
Still, she was glad that Abagail had come for Thanksgiving. It was tradition after all, ever since Elia and Abagail had graduated college and Abagail had scorned most of her own family. She still had close contact with them, but she wasn’t very familiar with them. Janet had become the second mom that Abagail always wanted. At least, that’s what Abagail had said.
Elia pulled Kamryn a smidge closer. “I’m going to show Kamryn upstairs. I’ll be back down to help in a minute.”
