Because she’s also the daughter of the only man in this town I don’t like and can’t trust. Getting involved with her would be a mistake. A reckless, hot, completely unforgettable mistake.
She keeps finding reasons for us to bump into each other. And I keep letting it happen. Call me what you want–but when she’s grinning like she knows exactly how to unravel me, I’m not walking away.
Now we’re sneaking around like we’re starring in her dirty fanfic–which, of course, I read. Multiple times.
We said this would be short-term. Just fun. No strings. But Mia’s wiggled her way past my defenses, and I’m starting to think the biggest danger isn’t her dad finding out…
