Story: Hello Heartbreaker
I scanned the texts again, almost in disbelief that they were real. My mind raced, wondering what we could talk about, what we would do. My mind couldn’t get over the feeling of Maggie’s hand touching my cock, even through my jeans.
Fucking Knox.
Fletcher was right. I needed to prank his brother.
I picked up my phone and called Fletcher. “Get your ass outta bed.”

The dispatcher scannedthe cameras outside the station. She glanced over at me across the desk where I was doing paperwork. “It looks like there’s an animal outside. Can you go scare it off?”
I glanced up, trying to get a read on the screen. “A raccoon or something?”
She looked at the camera again. “I couldn’t quite tell. Maybe a big white dog?”
I rolled my eyes toward the ceiling. Even though the city had leash laws, a lot of people acted like we didn’t and let their dogs run around. “I’ll check it out.”
I pushed up from the desk and walked down the hall, toward the front entrance to the station. When I turned the corner with the front double doors in view, I saw them opening.
My eyebrows drew together. Cottonwood Falls was usually quiet at night, and no one came here hardly at all.
But then no one walked in. I heard a snorting sound and the scrabble of hooves on tile. What in the world?
Then I glanced down, seeing a small white pig running down the hallway.
“What the hell?”
I looked back toward the doors, seeing nothing, except for the top half of a phone sticking up in the window.
Holy hell.
Someone wasfilmingthis?
I walked to the door, ready to have a come to Jesus moment with these teenagers. They had to have something better to do with their time. But when I got there, the phone disappeared, the youths running away.
I pushed the door open, hurrying outside, hearing a crack of a branch from the bushes to the right. Tilting my head, I turned off the sidewalk and pushed the branches aside, expecting to find a couple of young idiots.
Instead, I found some older idiots. “What the hell are you two doing here?”
Rhett and Fletcher glanced at each other, still crouched down behind the bush, and burst out laughing.
Fletcher stood up, extending his hand to Rhett, and said, “We had to get you back for cockblocking the other day.”
I raised my eyebrows, then remembered driving by Rhett and Maggie making out. I let out a laugh. “I’m glad I didn’t show up a few minutes later and catch some ‘public indecency.’”
The tips of Rhett’s ears went red, making me laugh.
“So I’m guessing the pig is yours?” I arched a brow.
Rhett nodded.
“Give me your phone.”
“What?” Rhett asked.
I put on a straight face, holding back laughter. “Officer’s orders.”
