Story: Ex's Accidental Baby
I keep my rhythm steady, and she spasms around me when she comes, splashing slightly in the water.
She pants to come down, but then she’s climbing into my lap, kissing my throat over and over.
I groan, grabbing the back of her head and kissing her passionately as she guides me into her.
There’s more than enough room, so I bounce her on top of me.
“Oh, God, Logan, I’m going to come again, please...”
She trails off into a loud moan and that’s good because I'm so close I can barely stand it.
I bite down on her shoulder as I spill my release into her.
“Now we should actually get clean.” She giggles as she pulls off of me, and I laugh and groan at the same time, washing my hair as she cleans herself.
Once we’re out, she towel-dries my hair, and I let it loose around my shoulders again.
I usually keep it tied back, but she loves to run her fingers through it, and who am I to deny her?
Especially since this is probably the last time that we’ll do this.
You’d think two weekends would be enough, but time already seems to be slipping by, and it’s nearly midnight by the time we retire to bed.
“I've missed you,” I say, unable to keep the words back after a few beers with our leftover pizza. “Missed this, just being with you.”
“Me, too.” She nuzzles against my chest. “It’s always like we’re in this little bubble and no one can hurt us.”
I hum. “Wish we could stay like this forever.”
She doesn’t respond, and in a few minutes, I realize she’s breathing deeply and evenly. She’s fallen asleep.

We’reat the pool on Sunday, making out at the edge when she pulls apart from me, her eyes widening.
I smile and caress her cheek, but her eyes widen even further.
“Wait," she mutters. “I hear?—”
“Hey, honey!” Mallory’s voice is like the scratch of nails on Styrofoam.
“Shi—”
Meredith shoves me underwater.
Luckily, I get a good breath in on the way down and hold it, trying to hear what’s going on.
I can still hear Mallory’s voice, and Meredith responding, but I can’t understand what they're saying. Probably niceties.
Great. I’m going to die because of small talk.
My lungs burn after I’ve been under about forty-five seconds, but I was on the swim team back in high school and college, and Meredith knows that.
I close my eyes, slowly letting water and air out of my nostrils as I try to keep it together.
I tug on her ankle when I’m close to breaking, and finally, I come up for air, gasping.
“Shit. Shit, Logan, I’m so sorry. You have to go. You have to get out of here right?—”
