Story: Brands
“You’re goddamn perfect.” His lips brush my mouth before falling into a feverish kiss. “Come home with me.” He cups my jaw, pinning his rigid length between our hips. “Let me do this right.”
“That wasn’t all of it?” I’m confused. It felt like he was in me.
And holy shit did it feel good.
He chuckles, grabbing himself and wrapping his fingers only halfway down the mushroomed head. “This is all the further I got.” He tucks himself into his zipper. “I was afraid if I pushed anymore, I wasn’t gonna be able to hold back.”
Those damn dimples have me joining his grin.
“Let me grab my stuff.”
Chapter Fifteen
Blue
She opted to driveher own truck and follow me.
Smart girl.
But it’s the longest twenty miles of my life watching the front of her pickup bob along behind me.
It’s fucking hard to pay attention when all the blood that’s supposed to be in my brain is riding in my crotch.
I’m sure she’s realizing that she’s passed my place every time she goes to Black Gulch to visit her friend Char.
I practically grew up there, it made sense to still call this area home. Close enough if I want to go for a ride, they always have a horse waiting.
Today I have a different kind in mind.
Slinging my Dodge into park, I jump out before Libby even pulls in. The last few weeks I’ve held her at bay, waiting for any sign of doubt to form.
But now that she’s here, I don’t want to hold back.
My palm lands on the handle of her door as she rollsto a stop.
She’s the greatest magnet I’ve ever encountered, and I’m drawn to her like iron, cupping her cheek to pull her into a kiss that surpasses any before.
I’ve been holding back a tide, and it’s all trying to spill over.
Her arms wrap my neck as our mouths collide in a passionate war.
Biting. Sucking. Tasting.
It’s as if we’re both fighting to consume each other.
I can’t take any more.
She shrieks when I toss her over my shoulder and head for the house.
Giggling, she smacks my ass in time with my steps. “Are you a caveman now?”
“Yup,” I chuckle. “And it’s time to show you my dinosaur bone.” I drop her to her feet in my living room, while I pull off my coat.
Her blue eyes widen as she looks around. “This isn’t the love shack I was expecting. I thought you’d have, like, a disco ball and mirrors.” She unzips her jacket, then hangs it next to mine.
I catch her wrist, tugging her tightly against my body. “I don’t make a habit of bringing anyone here.”
She may not realize it, but it’s the truth.
