Story: Bound By Lust
“I don’t have to do sh—” Out of nowhere, the speaker blows up, and the lights in the club burst, creating sparks across the club.
What the fuck was that?!
Everyone screams and I duck, panicking, looking around seeing if we are under attack, but the room goes eerily cold, so cold I can blow smoke out my mouth.W-what the f-fuck?
I listen for gunshots, but when none come and I guess the backup lights come on, we all stand up, peeping the scene. My eyes dart around, looking for any source of harm that could come my way so I can bolt in the opposite direction because I might be a bad bitch, but I ain’t a dumb one.
But thankfully, it looks like it was an electrical issue and not some asshole wanting to go on a killing spree. I place a hand on my chest and grab Duval’s and Tek’s arm so we can go when my eyes skirt by Frank and…wait… my eyes skirt by Frank?!
I do a double-take and low and behold the mother fucker who disappeared on me is right before my eyes looking like the embodiment of sex, anger, and something else I cannot put my finger on.
I feel stuck, watching him study me with glaring blue eyes and sexy, curled lips as his eyes roam over me several times as if he’s trying to make sense of something.
First, his gaze lands on my low-rise tight leggings that fit my body like a glove, then my black crop top that shows my abs, belly button ring, and cup right under my full breast and bear arms. Then, his eyes take in my braids, which are usually in aponytail, but today I have them down with a cute lil’ol’ black headband, keeping them in place with my swoopy baby hairs.
I bet he’s wondering why I’m out dressed like this, but it was all out of spite, even if he was never meant to see it, but the fact that he caught me out flaunting what was once his makes me feel smug.Yeah nigga, and what?!
His look of confusion makes my heart pound, but when his look spells death as his eyes lock on my hands grasping Tek and Duval’s arms, it makes me want to throw my head back and cackle with bitterness.
I spin on my heel, ignoring him, even though he looks so fucking edible right now. His hair looks wind-kissed and tossed beautifully, and even though he’s not wearing a shirt, but a casual black jacket that probably costs more than my rent, the fabric clings to his shoulders lazily like it is dying to slip away and show my ass every carved inch of his chest that I miss licking.
And don’t get me fucking started on his abs, which flex with every breath he takes like he don’t know, or don’t care, that he’s walking around half-naked.
His grey sweat pants hang around his narrow hips, showing off the deep V cut of his lower abdomen like it’s hiding a secret.A BIG one.
Ugh!Who the hell wears shit like that and look that good?
Frank. That’s who.
I glance over to Tek and rub my eyes for a second because damn… in comparison to Frank, you know what, let me shut up. Tek looks annoyed and Duval looks spooked.Damn, when the speakers went out, it must have done a number on them.
“Jess, are you good?” Tek asks, looking me over and I smile at his concern. He’s such a good friend.
“Yeah I’m good, but I think it’s time we head out,” I tell them.
“Yeah, I think so, too,” Tek responds, taking my hand, dragging me through the crowd outside with Duval following behind us, looking back constantly, but the only person I don’t see is Frank.
I spin to try to spot him, but it’s so dark and everyone is moving about, so it’s hard to see anything that’s not right in front of your face.
All too quickly I’m swept off my feet and a bitch don’t know if I’m floating, flying, or fucking what because all I see is a damn blur of people getting knocked left and right before I feel the warm, sticky air from outside hit my cold skin.
Confused, I glance down to realize I’m in Frank’s arms and even though a part of me wants to settle and snuggle in because I missed him, I push out of his arms.
“LET ME GO!!!” I shout, nearly falling, but he catches me before I hit the ground.
“Stay still, Jessica. You’ll hurt yourself!” he snarls, trying to keep me steady, but I snatch out of his grip.
“Frank, let me the fuck go!”
“NO!” he shouts, taking me aback.
“What the fuck do you mean no?! Do you think you can show up after ignoring me and leaving me on read and I’m supposed to skip the fuck off with you? Nah fuck that, keep that same energy, and keep ignoring me,” I growl and he stands me up, facing him.
“Jessica, be fucking for real right now.” He kisses his teeth as I turn to walk off . He grabs my arm, pulling me back and looking me over before pulling off his jacket and draping it over my shoulders, but I shrug that shit off and onto the ground.
“I’on need it. I’m good.” I roll my eyes and he pauses, staring at me before bending down, keeping his eyes on me, snatching the coat up, fluffing the jacket off and placing it around my shoulders again. “I said I don’t need it!” Hell, I dressed up to come out tonight and I want to show it off. When I shrug it off again, he places his hands on my shoulders watching me intently.
“I. Didn’t. Fucking. Ask.” He buttons it up, throwing me a look thatdaresme to take it off again.
