Story: Bound By Lust
I Miss Her…
But when my nose starts bleeding Rixia pauses…
“Lord Lust… I?—.”
“Carry on,” I grit out just wanting this shit to be over… tilt my head back shaking my leg…
“U-uhm… as I was s-saying, as you all have manifested so early, it seems things will go differently this time, especially since this is the first time the sins come from the same bloodline and have been raised in the human realm,” she adds coolly, jaw clenched. “ You all might experience things your alternates never have. I can also see that you all are more in tune with each other’s sins, bouncing off and reflecting on one another…
To be honest, I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. Either way, I recommend you all try spending prolonged time in hell for consistent exposure to miasma so your powers can begin to stabilize. Once your ancestral memories return, the boundaries between who you were and who you are will blur. That is the start of true control. The moment your power and your identity fuse into one.”
She lets that hang in the air, like that’s supposed to mean something to us, but when she sees none of seem to give a fuck, she sighs and snaps her fingers. A small pouch pops out of thin air, landing in front of us. We all pick them up, open them, and reach inside. Inside, I see the familiar inhaler that Randolf gave me that day, shimmering black glass, glowing faintly with infernal mist.It helped... barely.
“Until then, while on Earth, use these miasma inhalers. They’re garbage,” she scoffs, answering the unspoken thought. “At least foryou, yes, I am aware. They were designed for lesser demons, with fragile bodies that need basic tempering. But for you?” She sweeps her gaze across all of us.
“You are demon lords. Those flimsy devices are nothing more than bandages on a wound that’s cut to the bone and in desperate need of stitches the size of a shoelace.Thatis why I mention you all visiting hell as frequently as your minds, and your pride, can endure.”
The room falls into silence until Wilder jumps up, holding the inhaler in his hand to the air victoriously.
“I told you bitches it was asthma!” he exclaims and Gannon claps.
“You called it!” He pulls out money from his pocket and hands it to him.
“I knew it!” Wilder beams, counting the hundred thousand before he turns to Genesis, who grits his teeth. Wilder slaps his hand and Genesis grunts, handing him a hundred bands as well, followed by Saint, Echo, and Pierce…
These fucking idiots.
Rixia just rolls her eyes and turns back to her glyphs and erases them with the wave of a hand.
“Anyway, learn your limits. Then destroy them… intelligently. Dismissed.”
I hop up from my seat and damn near sprint outside to the damn thing that’s supposed to take us home. I stand there, tapping my foot as the others file out, wanting to snap their necks. However, when they all finally file right along with my mother and father and I see that mother fucking glow, the sky cracks open behind me, and I step through the veil with a snarl on my lips and freedom in my lungs.
“I HAVE MY FREEEEEEEEEDOMMMMMM!!!!! FINALLY, I CAN DIG IN MY BABY’S PUUUUUSSSSSYYYYYYYY!” I shout, dropping to my knees with tears in my eyes. “Jessica! Jessica! Jessica! Baby, I’m coming!” I stagger to my knees in the house as everyone’s staring at me. “WHAT?!”
“Nothing, bro… but don’t you think you’re being a bit dramatic?” Wilder questions and I cock my head, then smirk.
“Ahh I get it… you’re all jealous! Jealous that I get Jessica’s pussy and you all have pussyless dry dicks.” I place my hand on his shoulder, sorry for him, forallof them. “It’s okay. One day you’ll understand, and when you do, come talk to your big brother. I’ll give you some pointers.”
“Dude I’m older than you!” He shakes my arm off him. “I get pussy,” he rebuts, and I place my hand over my mouth, smirking.
“Suuuuurrrreeee you do,” I elbow him and he snarls, eyes going red and horns coming out the top of his skull. “Oooo, looks like a someone’s mad.”
“FRANK, YOU ASSH?—”
“BOYS!” our mother calls out, looking tired while massaging her temples. “Please, by the Source! Just get out of my house!” she grits out.
Shhhhiiiiittttt!She doesn’t have to tell me twice.Finally.
I go to leave, but I a hand on my shoulder and turn to see my dad.
“Lord Lust… you should pace yourself. While you did take in a great deal of miasma, if you’re reckless, you’ll burn through it faster than you think.” His deep voice warns from behind me.
“How much did I take in?” The miasma burns in my chest, thick and heavy like smoke-laced gold. It feels good… stable, and more than that, my fever is gone and my mind is clear.
“You took in enough miasma to keep your body in balance for a few months at best,” he mutters, adjusting the collar of my coat. “Use it sparingly.”
I don’t have to turn around to look at him. I just leave, knowing I won’t have to worry about that. I don’t give a fuck about being a demon lord or none of that shit.I just want to be where Jessica is…She’s the only person, place, or thing that matters.
