A lot can happen in four years. Archie is having an amazing career in the NFL, we’ve settled down roots in Dallas, I’m in my second year of medical school, and our world revolves around our beautiful little sunshine, Lainey. It’s a busy life, but it’s full of love.

My parents moved to Dallas shortly after Lainey was born, which was an enormous help for us while we adjusted to not only becoming parents but also moving and navigating our new schedule during Archie’s rookie year. I love that they’re here and they’re amazing with Lainey. Our relationship has gotten much closer since she was born. I think Lainey gave them newfound joy, but I also think they realized that they had been just moving through life since my sister’s death.
