Stolen Moments
B efore I knew what was happening, Sky had thrown his arms around me and pulled me in, his lips crashing against mine.
The kiss was desperate, hungry, and nothing like the brief touch we’d shared before.
His hands tangled in my hair, clinging to me like I might disappear if he let go.
I responded with equal fervor, my fingers digging into his shoulders, drawing him closer until there was no space between us.
The taste of him, wild and earthy, it sent a shiver down my spine.
When we finally broke apart, both gasping for breath, Sky’s eyes were luminous in the dimness, pupils wide and dark. His wolf ears stood at attention, and I could feel the rapid thump of his heart against my chest.
“I shouldn’t want this,” he murmured, his voice rough. “Not with everything happening. Not when we might?—”
I silenced him with another kiss, gentler this time. “For tonight, can we just forget about everything else? About Boromia, the RSB, all of it?”
Sky’s expression softened, the hard lines of his face relaxing. His tail, which had been rigid with tension, now swayed gently behind him.
“Okay,” he agreed breathlessly, pressing his forehead against mine. His hands went to my waist, his fingers already working under the hem of my shirt. “Are… Are you sure about this?”
I took a deep breath, licking my dry lips as I nodded. “Yes. I… I want you.”
Sky’s eyes darkened at my words, something primal flashing in their blue depths. His hands tightened on my waist, fingers pressing into my skin with a delicious pressure that made my breath catch.
“Not here,” he whispered, glancing toward the closed bedroom doors. “Too many ears.”
Before I could respond, he was standing, pulling me up with him. His movements were fluid now, the pain in his side seemingly forgotten as adrenaline and desire took over. He led me to the small kitchen area, the furthest point from both bedrooms, and pressed me against the wall.
“Is this okay?” he asked, his voice a low rumble that I felt more than heard.
I nodded, unable to find my voice as his body pressed against mine, solid and warm. The wall was cold against my back, creating a stark contrast that heightened every sensation. Sky’s hands moved to cup my face, his touch surprisingly gentle for someone with such calloused palms.
“I’ve wanted this since I first saw you,” he admitted, the confession barely audible. “Even when I tried not to.”
His lips found mine again, softer this time, exploring rather than devouring. I melted into him, letting my hands slide beneath his shirt, feeling the lean muscle and warm skin beneath my fingertips. Every point where our bodies connected seemed to burn with an intensity that made my head spin.
Sky’s kisses trailed from my lips to my jaw, then down the column of my throat. His fangs grazed lightly against my pulse point, making me shiver and bite back a moan. I felt his smile against my skin, pleased by my reaction.
“We need to be quiet,” he whispered, his breath hot against my ear. His tail wrapped around my leg, another point of contact that sent sparks through my body.
“I know,” I breathed, tilting my head to give him better access to my neck.
His hands slid under my shirt, pushing it up to expose my chest. The cool air made me shiver, but Sky’s touch was like fire, chasing away any chill.
When his mouth descended to my collarbone, leaving a trail of kisses that grew more insistent with each passing second, I had to clamp my hand over my mouth to stifle the sounds threatening to escape.
“Sky,” I whispered, my voice trembling with need.
He looked up at me, his blue eyes glowing with an intensity that stole my breath away. His hands paused at my waist, thumbs tracing small circles against my skin .
“Tell me what you want,” he murmured, pressing his forehead against mine.
I swallowed hard, suddenly aware of how vulnerable I was. Not just physically, but emotionally. Everything about this moment felt dangerous and inevitable all at once.
“You,” I whispered. “Just you.”
Something softened in his expression, a tenderness breaking through his usual guarded demeanor. He leaned in, capturing my lips again, but this kiss was different, slower, and deeper, like he was trying to memorize the taste of me.
His hands moved with deliberate purpose now, sliding down to grip my thighs. In one fluid motion, he lifted me, pressing me more firmly against the wall as my legs wrapped around his waist. The new position brought our bodies flush together, and I gasped at the contact.
“Still okay?” he asked, his voice strained with restraint.
I nodded, unable to form words as he rolled his hips against mine.
The friction was exquisite torture, making me bite my lip hard to keep from crying out.
Sky’s movements were controlled, deliberate, his eyes never leaving mine.
There was something intensely intimate about being held like this, suspended between his strength and the unyielding wall.
“We should...” I managed, gesturing vaguely toward the floor.
Sky understood immediately. With careful movements, he lowered us both to the ground, managing to keep me wrapped around him as he settled us onto the cool wooden floorboards. He reached for my discarded blanket, pulling it beneath us as a meager cushion against the hard floor.
In the pale moonlight filtering through the small kitchen window, Sky looked almost ethereal.
His dark hair fell across his forehead, and his wolf ears twitched occasionally, alert to any sound that might interrupt us.
His eyes, though… those blue eyes that had first caught my attention, they burned with an intensity that made my breath catch.
“I’ve never...” I started, then stopped, suddenly self-conscious.
Sky’s expression softened. “We don’t have to?—”
“No,” I interrupted, reaching up to touch his face. “I want to. I just... I don’t really know what I’m doing.”
A small smile tugged at the corner of Sky’s mouth, transforming his usually stern face into something softer, more vulnerable.
“We can figure it out together,” he whispered, brushing a strand of hair from my face with a gentleness that made my heart ache. “We don’t have to rush.”
His thumb traced the curve of my cheek, sending shivers down my spine. I leaned into his touch, craving the warmth of his skin against mine. When our lips met again, it was with renewed purpose, a slow-burning heat that built gradually between us.
Sky’s hands were everywhere. Trailing down my sides, gripping my hips, and mapping every inch of me with careful attention. Each touch was a question, and my body answered eagerly, arching into him, seeking more.
“Tell me if anything doesn’t feel right,” he murmured against my neck, his fangs grazing the sensitive skin there.
“Everything feels right,” I breathed, my fingers tangling in his hair, careful not to pull his wolf ears.
Clothes were shed slowly, each new expanse of skin explored with reverent touches and hushed sighs.
The moonlight painted silvery patterns across Sky’s chest and abs as he hovered over me, exploring my body with his mouth.
It didn’t take long before we were both naked and his tongue was trailing down my abdomen.
He found the tuft of sandy hair below my beltline and dove further down, swirling his tongue over my glistening tip that made me groan with delight.
I bit down on my knuckle to stifle the sounds threatening to escape as Sky’s mouth enveloped me in wet heat.
His wolf ears twitched at each muffled gasp I couldn’t contain, clearly pleased with my reactions.
I threaded my fingers through his dark hair, careful not to tug too hard, but needing something to anchor me as pleasure surged through my body.
He pulled away briefly, looking up at me with those intense blue eyes, now dark with desire. “You taste incredible,” he whispered, his voice rough and low.
Before I could respond, he returned to his devotions, one hand gripping my hip to keep me steady. The other wandered lower, exploring with gentle curiosity. The dual sensations had me arching off the blanket, my free hand scrabbling for purchase against the wooden floor.
“Sky,” I gasped, my voice barely audible. “I can’t—I’m going to?—”
He pulled away just in time, crawling back up my body to capture my lips in a searing kiss. I could taste myself on his tongue, strange and intimate. His body pressed against mine, skin to skin, and I felt the evidence of his desire against my thigh, hot and insistent.
“Are you sure about this?” he whispered against my lips, his breath ragged.
I nodded, unable to form words as his hand slid between us, wrapping around me once more. “I want all of you,” I finally managed.
Sky’s eyes, luminous in the darkness, searched mine for any hesitation. Finding none, he reached for his discarded pants, fumbling in a pocket until he produced a small vial.
“What’s that?” I asked, curiosity momentarily overriding desire.
“Oil,” he explained, a faint blush coloring his cheeks. “For situations like… this. To make it easier.”
The care in his preparation made my heart swell. Even in this moment of raw need, he was thinking of my comfort. I watched as he coated his fingers with the slick substance, the moonlight catching the movement.
His touch was tentative at first, gentle as he prepared me with careful patience.
The initial discomfort gave way to pleasure so intense I had to bury my face against his shoulder to muffle my sounds.
His free hand stroked my hair, his lips pressing soft kisses to my temple as he whispered encouragements against my skin.
“You’re doing so well,” he murmured, his voice thick with restraint. The praise sent a wave of heat and tingles through my body. “Tell me if you need me to stop.”
“Don’t stop,” I gasped, my body adjusting to the intrusion, nerve endings I never knew existed coming alive under his touch. “Please, Sky…”
