Page 23 of Unwrapping Chase

“Come,” I ordered, and not two pumps later, Chase was shrieking in pleasure as his ass clenched around my tentacle, so tight it was nearly impossible to thrust in and out of him.

His release was dry, but it seemed no less potent. The second his cries quieted, I gently pulled out of his well-used ass. Chase sobbed, more tears pouring down his cheeks.

Unable to fight it, I climbed into the tub with him and wrapped my arms and tentacles around him. Chase nuzzled in close, and I pressed kisses all over his face.

“Such a good boy,” I told him. “You were such a good boy for me. I’m so proud of you.”

Chase continued to cry, but I figured he was just overwhelmed. So was I, if I chose to be honest. I feared that I was losing a part of myself to this small being, and that terrified me to my core.

I couldn’t fight the grin spreading over my face when I heard Chase grunting and Nyx’s quiet commands. Normally, I cared for my partners afterward, or they for me, but I’d left sad Chase alone on purpose for Nyx. My coupling needed to take care of people, and Chase needed to be taken care of. It was a perfect match, which they’d soon realize.

They weren’t even making this matchmaking thing difficult. Honestly, I’d been expecting a war—complaining on Nyx’s side and shyness on Chase’s—but both were clinging to each other as they were supposed to. Oh, I might have to push and shove a bit, but we wouldn’t be leaving this planet without Chase, and he’d be both of ours equally.

That perfect gift would turn our coupling into a throupling.

I snuggled into the pillow and feigned sleep, which was difficult because I was so excited. I wanted to cheer and clap, but then Nyx would get all grumpy, and Chase would turn embarrassed. So I closed my eyes and lay utterly relaxed.

It took some time, but eventually Nyx exited the bathroom. Both he and Chase were wet, telling me Nyx had joined Chase in the bath, which made me want to squeal. He laid a clean Chase against me, and I immediately tugged him into my embrace. Chase snuggled against me, moaning my name. Nyx lay behind me, his tentacles and arms curling around me, but one of his hands was stretched toward Chase, resting on his bare shoulder while his fingers traced over the brown constellation of dots, then lingered where that adorable divot appeared in his cheek.

Right here, right now, was perfect. Now, I just had to get the other two people of this perfect triad to agree with me.

Properly dressed.

“I want to go ice skating,” I demanded as soon as Chase had woken up from his nap and Nyx had fed us.

My coupling glared at me as he spooned more food—scrambled chicken eggs with fried Kymitian tubers and Ickeen leeks mixed in—onto my and Chase’s plates. Apparently, we weren’t eating enough to suit him. My poor Nyx. He needed everything just so. He also needed someone to boss around at all times, which wasn’t me, but was definitely Chase. That would for sure work for our human, who was happily eating everything Nyx gave him while seeking more orders. And I required Chase’s kindness and for him to treasure me. I loved to be spoiled, and he seemed like the human to help Nyx do it. I would be the most pampered being in the entire universe, and I saw no problem with that.

I stuck out my bottom lip and widened my eyes and nostril slits, even perking my pointed ears. Nyx predictably glared, but Chase wiggled in his chair and chewed on his lip in the most precious way.

“I’ll go with you,” Chase blurted out, shoulders relaxing.

“Thank you, pet,” I said and drew him closer to give him loud, smacking kisses on his bare shoulder.

Chase immediately sought my lips and grabbed my sides to haul me closer. We hadn’t bothered getting dressed after we’d woken up, and now, I was supremely glad about it. I loved the feel of his smooth skin against mine. He was so soft and delicate, like a flower or an ostretca—a soft creature that lived in a beautifully dotted shell, but was super tasty to eat while being too fragile to cook.

Perhaps he should never wear clothes? I definitely saw the merit in having an always-naked Chase around. It might not be practical, but who cared about practicality when he was this pretty?

I invaded his mouth with my tongue, and he hummed in response, matching my movement for movement. I cupped his cheeks and swirled my tongue around his. Chase moaned; it was a quiet thing, but it stoked my arousal. If he wasn’t careful, I would fill his mouth with my spiculi and flood him again. But Ireallydid want to go ice skating, so no fucking. Sadly.

Pulling back, I brushed my thumbs over the sensitive skin beneath his eyes, and Chase gave me a shy smile. How had we lived this long without him? It didn’t make sense. He was part of my soul as much as Nyx was. Chase belonged to us. It was a fact. No way to dispute it, no changing it. He was ours, and I’d be dead before I left him behind.

My eyes flicked to Nyx, and he had a soft smile as he stared at me and Chase together. My coupling was never jealous—we didn’t do that—but he clearly adored Chase as much as I did. Nyxwould need prodding; stubborn fool that he was. But Chase was worth any and all effort. Besides, the reward was years of Chase with us. That was the prize I was angling for.

But I might need a plan, which wasn’t my thing. Nyx was the planner in our coupling. He always figured out the future, our savings, where we lived, and what we should do. I mostly bounced along beside him and offered my random opinions. So, how would I even go about making a plan to get Nyx interested in keeping Chase?

Maybe utilize Chase’s freckles. Nyx clearly loved them. Chase’s feet. And maybe his dimple.

So it seemed like my plan was to keep Chase naked and push him toward Nyx. That wasn’t a plan, but I was positive it would work out in the end.

I nuzzled Chase’s forehead, and he gave me a broader smile. He was warming up to me, to us, so easily. Maybe he felt that he belonged with and to us as well?

“I’m so excited to go. I’ve always wanted to ice skate,” I said.

Before we’d come to Valojor, I’d made sure that they had skates to accommodate our tentacles, in case we needed to bring some. Unlike other bipedal species, we didn’t need a skate for every limb, just enough for us to glide, and the chill of the ice wouldn’t bother Nyx or me any more than the snow would.

“I’m not very good at it,” Chase warned.
