Lovely POV

I'm so stupid.

Tears rolled down my cheeks as I watched Scarlet walk away. My knees gave up and I sat down. A lump grew in my throat trying to squeeze the air in me. I let the tears flow down like I was in daze. I didn't know I had grown so much to Scarlet in just a month.

I wanted to go hug her from behind and tell her everything how it happened but she didn't care. I swallowed the lump in my throat and tucked my bottom lip between my teeth to stop the screams.

I sobbed for a few minutes before standing up again. " Maybe we need sometime alone." I whispered making my heart ache more. I wiped my tears and swallowed hard before walking back to my car.

I entered the car and pulled my knees to my chest. The small wound on my back hurt and I hissed in pain. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I sobbed.

I sobbed for like fifteen minutes before wiping my tears. Scarlet would be the one to wipe them as I sobbed onto her chest but she didn't try to listen to me. I took out my phone and dialed Jade's number. She's the only one that could understand me right now.

I called her multiple times and she wasn't picking up. My brows furrowed together as I tried calling her again. "The person your calling is not reachable please....." I threw my phone at the passenger seat and ran a hand down my face sighing deeply

I know she hasn't been well and I was too occupied with Scarlet to visit her. What if something happened to her. I grabbed my phone again with shakey hands and tracked her location using our Snap.

I prayed silent prayers before I got her location. That's not aunty's home. It wasn't Adelina's too. Something is fishy. I quickly roared the car into life before typing in the address into the GPS.I shook my head to stop the thoughts

I couldn't lose someone else. My dad's death did a huge impact and I would be dead right now if it weren't Jade who stopped me that day. That day everything was useless and it was all lies. My dad had promised to teach me how to drive then but I had his funeral as a gift.

I miss him so much. Why did you have to leave me. I stepped closer to the edge of the four storey building of my highschool. A tear escaped my eye as I looked down.

"Everything is going to be fine." I assured myself as I sighed deeply. My puffy red eyes from crying all night were hidden by my hair under my hoodie.

I breathed in and out before closing my eyes and pushing myself infront. Someone harshly pulled me off the edge and stopping my fall. I looked up with a death glare to see who dared to stop me.

"Please don't please!" Jade sobbed and hugged me tight.

" I know your hurting but I won't be myself again if you leave me.

" She hugged me tight making me hug her back.

"Why should I stay, my dad left me and mom when he promised he would be back.

" My voice cracked at the end making tears roll out my eyes.

" I miss him so much." I hiccupped into Jàde's chest and she rocked back and forth."I don't want you to leave me because I love you."

Our relationship grew stronger after that day. She told me every day how she loved me and I knew I wasn't alone. She has been always there for me but I have only been thinking about myself and Scarlet for the last month.

I tried calling Adelina to but her phone was switched off. I tapped my fingers impatiently against the wheel while driving like a maniac. It didn't take long before I parked near a fair sized hotel.

I got out of the car quickly before locking it. I walked to the receptionist and sighed. "Hi um..Is there any person who checked in here called Jade Johnson." I tapped my fingers impatiently against her desk as she looked up from her computer to me.

"Sorry but we don't give out our customers' information." I sighed deeply and thought of a lie. " Um..I'm surprising her for her birthday." I lied smoothly and she seemed to buy it.

"Room 5 and tell her happy birthday." She smiled at me and I nodded smiling back. She gave the key and I thanked her gratefully. I climbed the stairs because their elevator was at maintenance.

Every step I took was making my heart race more. My breathing was heavy and I wiped my sweaty palms against my shorts as I reached room 5. My hands were shaky as I knocked on the door.

I waited for a response but no one answered. "Jade open the door." I yelled as I knocked on the door rapidly. I inserted the key in the key hole and opened the door when minutes passed without her answering.

I looked around the room and heard a shower running. I sighed deeply in relief and sat on the fair sized bed. I shook my head and smiled a little knowing I was just worrying for nothing. I grabbed my phone and checked my messages. I thought Scarlet would have tried to call me but it was dry.

(Ten minutes later am too lazy)

"Jade." I called out behind the door of the bathroom. It's been ten minutes since I heard water running but no one would shower that long when someone's in your room. I knocked on the door before grabbing the door knob.

"Jade if you don't answer me , I'm coming in right now." I don't understand why she isn't answering me. I looked down at my feet waiting for her reply but none.

"Okay here I come." I turned the door knob and entered the bathroom. I gasped loudly at the sight that welcomed me.
