saying no, the one between his legs was not arguing. He groaned, collapsing deeper into the chair.
Mac yanked him closer with strong arms, spreading his legs, continuing to go down on him like a
starving animal. Alec's head was swimming. He was conflicted—part of him wanting to use Mac, just
as he had been used… but that was not who he was, never had been. His dick didn't care either way.
Mac came up off of him, gripping him in a tight fist. He grinned. "You want my ass. You can
have it. It's been a long time."
He did. He wanted it bad… wanted to use him sexually for retribution. But if he did, everything
that had just transpired would be out the window. Mac knew this, was no doubt working toward it,
manipulating him with his physique, his one true superpower.

he was witnessing wasn't that much different. Only Mac was fast approaching forty and, unlike
Demarco, had never found the means to support himself… living off of others like a parasite just to keep a roof over his head.
Was that what this had been?Alec thought. But he hadlovedthe guy… still had feelings for him.
There had been Jake before Mac—pretty much the same—and Larry before Jake. Patterned
behavior…Alec Collier: This is your life. You have a soft heart and you pick up strays. You'vespent the last ten years of your life nurturing losers. You're not a bad person. On the contrary, you're good. You have the proverbial heart of gold… and every handsome vagabond that comes
along sees it, knows it, and takes advantage of it. Maybe, somewhere deep down in your
subconscious… youlikeit.
Demarco's words came to mind:You deserve better.
Do I?
"It's not working," said Mac looking up from his lap. Holding Alec's limp dick in his hand.
"No. It's not." Alec stood and pulled up his pants. "My offer is still good. We'll take a few days to go through things and pack up. Meanwhile, you find someone you can crash with. You make decent
