“Ahh, about what?”
“So, remember all the girls Lionel assaulted?” My stomach sinks at the mention of that name. It’s been a long time since I’ve heard it.
“How can I forget?” I whisper.
“Turns out, he got one of them pregnant, and she had a son. She’s been fighting in court to get the DNA tested proof. It finally went through, and not only did she prove the DNA was his, she also won in court for like, a fuckton of money.”
“Oh.” I blink. “Well, that's good for her then.”
“Right? I mean, at least something good came out of that horrible fucked up situation.”
“Yeah...”
We talk for a bit, but my mind is still on the girl.
After life settled down, I went to the guys and told them I wanted to help fight against Lionel in court. To get him put behind bars for life. Only to find out that apparently Lionel killed himself, and the guys didn’t know how to tell me. When I asked why it wasn’t in the news, they told me his parents were keeping it private.
The way Collin and Preston looked at one another gave me a feeling that wasn’t the complete truth, and they were keeping something from me. But with some searching, there were a few articles that supported their story.
Still to this day, I think there’s more to it. It’s not something I’m going to dig back into. Better to let things lie where they may. Just like what happened with Tina.
I’m happy. Healthy. And in love. I won’t let my past ruin that for me, and haven’t for a long time.
With the sun setting, I gather the book I was reading and head into the house.
“Miss Sadie,” Walker, our doorman, greets me.
“Hey, Walker.” I smile.
“This is for you.” He approaches me and hands me a black envelope.
“Thanks.” I smile. He nods his head and leaves.
Curious, I head up to my room and throw my book on the bed before taking a seat on the edge.
Opening it up, I see that it’s a typed letter.
Happy Anniversary, baby. You didn’t think we forgot, did you? Get dressed in something sexy and wear that mask. You know, the black and red one. Meet us at Wonderlust at nine. We can’t wait to show you just how much we love you.
Love- Collin, Preston, Grayson, and Declan.
A smile splits my face, and giddy excitement fills me. Of course, it would be like them to make me think they’re busy just to surprise me with something.
Tossing the letter on the bed, I quickly grab something sexy. A little black lace bra and panty set to match the mask.
Once I’m dressed, I throw a long coat over the set before putting on the mask.
When I get downstairs, the car I called is waiting for me.
The whole ride there, I’m bouncing with excitement and nerves. Because by the end of tonight, the guys are going to know they’re about to be daddies.
But I think I’ll wait until all the orgasms first. Maybe that will help all of us handle the news.
The club is busy when I get there, and no one bats an eye that I’m dressed in a long coat in the middle of July in Florida.
Well, everyone except Rosie. “Girl, what are you wearing?” She laughs.
Rosie doesn’t work for the club anymore, but she does come to visit a lot. Since finding her own guys, she likes to come here with them on their downtime. I still have no idea what she does for work, but the way the guys seem to be afraid of her, I’d say she’s a pretty big deal. Never felt the need to press for moreinformation, though. I like Rosie. She’s good people, and we’ve become friends of sorts.
