“Ah.” He leaned on my desk, his blue-green gaze heated. “So you are in the market for feminine pleasure? Tell me, Sienna, any advice on how to get to the right target? Reaching the correct… spot … for what Irequire?”
Grayson was being an utter twatwaffle, a charming one, and he knew it. He had me cornered, because now images of how we’d spent the week scrolled through my mind like a slideshow. His special talent, indeed. How many times had he hit my G-spot?
“Excuse me. I have to get these figures done for my boss.” I turned back to the computer. “Good day, Stephanie, Mr.Smith.”
He didn’t leave, but had the utter arrogance to park a lean hip on my desk. “I’ve heard you are a creative person, Sienna. Seems a waste to be shut away back here with a computer andnumbers.”
“I like computers better than people. People around here are basically selfish and care only about themselves.” I bit my lip. Not a good admission when you worked at a client-based business likeWilliams.
Stephanie’s eyes widened, as if I’d admitted I shot up heroin at my desk. She muttered something about meeting Grayson in thehallway.
I tried to make a joke of it to diffuse the sudden silence. “I suppose that’s why they put me back here with a computer. It’s my friend, except when I’m on deadline and it doesn’t work as fast as itcould.”
Grayson’s expression shuttered. “You could have plenty of friends, if you really wished. Friends who understoodyou.”
For a moment I was sorely tempted to push back from my desk, take his hand and walk out of there for good. Leave Williams and the ruse I’d played, pretending to be someone else. Someone who was human, without power, without enemies pursuingher.
Then I remembered his pack’s reaction. “I don’t have any friends who understandme.”
“I’m sure you do,” he saidsoftly.
“I have work. Goodday.”
Instead of leaving, he picked up my hand and stroked a thumb over the edge of my glove. I couldn’t help a shudder of anticipation. He had stroked every spot on my body thatway.
Satisfaction gleamed on his face, the same kind he’d shown after I lay gasping from all the orgasms he’d givenme.
Yanking away my hand, I smiledtightly.
“Goodday.”
Instead of leaving, he reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a single red rose. “For the lady,” he said softly. “You should always have fresh flowers. You deserveit.”
For a moment I thought my tightened throat would give way to the emotion swirling inside me. Maybe I did deservebetter.
Instead, I took the rose, and did not meet his gaze. “Thankyou.”
As he walked off, I saw Grayson’s gaze meetmine.
He licked hislips.
The space between my legs grew wet and I squirmed. Arousal bit, sharp and aching. If I let my sexual need take charge, I’d be grabbing the alpha and running to the storage closet with him to have his cock slide into me in record time. Just the thought of that long, thick hardness ramming into my body as I wrapped my legs around his hips nearly made memoan.
I returned to the computerscreen.
An hour later, I glanced at the clock. Break time. But instead of going to the company cafeteria for a snack and smoothie, I stayed put. Not a good idea to run into Graysonagain.
Or else I might take a sex break instead of a juice one. Why did I have absolutely no control around thatwolf?
No shifter had ever done that to mebefore.
No shifter had ever seen deep inside me, either, and took the time to find out what pleased me, instead of pleasing onlyhimself.
Nicolas and Stephan had been the same. Each of the wolves were different, and had different styles in bed, but despite their personalities, they all showed gentle, sweet consideration forme.
They were fierce, dominating lovers inbed.
Tender and gentle out ofit.
What woman would ever want to walk away from such bliss? Men who listened and offered you theworld?
I did. I couldn’t afford the world. I’d already ruined my own corner ofit.
