Story: They Call Me Dom

L aila

As my crew drove to our next raid, I couldn’t help but think about Dom.

It wasn’t even twenty-four hours later, yet she was all I could think about when I woke up.

I’d made love to Sur so good that all he did was roll over and go back to sleep.

I never had trouble with fucking my husband, but the thought of me, him, and Dom together had me fucking him like I never had before.

Dom was one of the most beautiful, creative, and flirty women I’d ever met.

I wasn’t fond of her current profession, but she made me hotter than anybody I’d ever met.

The way she validated and comforted me and cared about Surtain in one sitting made me want to fall between her thighs and never come up.

She appeared like a genie in my life, fucking sexy and smart-ass genie, but a genie, nonetheless.

I needed to have her. There was no way I could miss my beat and let her get away.

It was because of our conversation that I came up with the idea to live in harmony with both of my preferences.

I already knew that Surtain wouldn’t be down for an open marriage.

He took his vows seriously, but a poly marriage could serve both of us.

We could both still be happily married and fucking some ripe and wet pussy that both of us enjoyed.

After the affair with Mariya, I couldn’t go back to not having pussy in my life.

I didn’t cheat on Sur again, but I did hang out at Lucid’s more with and without my crew.

I needed to surround myself with ass, titties, and pussy like the next man or woman.

Once I explained to Sur what a poly marriage was, there was no way he could turn me down.

I also knew that once Dom laid eyes on him, she wouldn’t be able to resist him.

Sur was just that damn gorgeous. He was six-feet-four inches of caramel-brown skin, full, honey-hued lips, and muscles that drove me crazy.

Sur had an athletic swimmer’s build with a tapered, wavy fade that only accented his natural beauty.

I loved that man so much. Two years had passed since I royally screwed up, and I worked hard every day to prove to him that I was truly sorry.

We were now in couples therapy, and it seemed to work.

There was more than infidelity issues we had to work on.

We didn’t communicate as much as we once did because our careers were so demanding, so the spark had left.

However, Sur had remained as loyal as they came unlike me.

I snapped out of my thoughts when our truck stopped.

“Alright, look alive, men. It’s time to work.

No hero missions, Jake. We stick to the plan so I can get you all home to your wives, partners, and kids.

” I turned to Andre. “No cowboy shit, Dre. I mean it. If you or Jake try me, you’ll be on desk duty for a month. Y’all feel me?”

“Yes, Sargent,” my crew stated in unison.

“Cool. Let’s roll.”

Kendrick unlocked the door, and we all hopped out.

Emmanuel and Drew carried the breaching bar up to yet another drug house.

It was 4:00 a.m., chilly, and not a soul was out.

That was always the perfect time for a raid.

I removed my weapon and directed half of my crew to head around to the back and a few others to take the roof next door.

The remainder of my squad quietly raced up the front porch stairs.

We made room for Emmanuel and Drew as they aimed the breaching bar at the front door.

“Counting down. Three, two, one!” I yelled.

Emmanuel and Drew were the big muscles on my squad, and they swung that heavy ass breaching bar with ease.

It smashed against the front door, knocking it off the frame.

My squad raced in first, announcing themselves loudly as I entered right after them.

Addicts jumped from the floor, but they were pushed back down.

People frantically ran through the nasty, needle-filled house, trying to find shelter or escape.

The smell of ass, dirty balls, and drugs permeated the air as I continued to sweep through the house with my weapon still aimed.

Arrests were made while I cleared the kitchen, living room, and one bedroom. I stumbled into another bedroom.

A crazed user or dealer held a gun to a fiend’s head as he tried to escape out of the bedroom window.

“Please, Dman. Let me go. Let me go,” the fiend cried. Her crusty, chapped lips were moisturized by her tears.

“Shut the fuck up, bitch! If I die, so will you!” he spat.

He gripped her matted hair tighter, making her wince from the pain. She was inches shorter and darker than him. He didn’t care about her life, only his freedom, so I didn’t have any remorse for him.

I aimed my gun at him. “Let her go, drop your weapon, and no one has to die. If you don’t, I’ll be forced to do something I don’t want to do.”

“Shut up, bitch. All you wanna do is take down another black man like the rest of the police. I’ma kill this bitch and get away.”

His left leg and knee were exposed, and I saw my opportunity to disarm him. I popped him in his knee and his shoulder, but a third shot was fired. I always trusted my instincts because I was one of the best shots in our precinct. You could bet your check on me.

“Ugh!” he screamed and dropped his gun.

The fiend hurriedly fell to the side, and a few of my squad members raced into the room with their weapons drawn.

“Sarge, are you okay?” Dre questioned.

Emmanuel and Drew were by his side with their guns aimed at the dealer.

“I’m good, guys.” I walked over to the dealer and stood over him.

“If I wanted to kill you, you’d be dead.

Yes, you’re a black man, and I’m a black woman, but it ain’t my job to take pity on you when you’re living this way.

Remember this—you’re more valuable alive than dead.

” I kicked his gun over to my squad then turned to them.

“Get EMTs here. He won’t die, but he’ll be fucked up for a while. ”

I went to walk past them when Drew grabbed onto me.

“Sarge, you been hit.”

The moment he said that, heat filled my arm, and I looked down. Blood trailed down my arm and dripped onto the floor.

“It’s just a flesh wound.”

“Be that as it may, we got to get you to the hospital,” Drew quickly responded.

Before I could say another word, I was whisked away to the hospital.

The doctor had just finished wrapping my bandage when the door to my room burst open, and Sur stalked his sexy yet frantic self over to me, ignoring the doctor.

“Lai, baby. How are you?” He peppered my face with kisses then my lips.

“Calm down, my love. I told you on the phone I’m good. It’s just a little flesh wound.”

Sur took a seat on the bed as the doctor left the room. He held my hand.

“Lai, you have a tendency to downplay a lot of shit, so I wasn’t sure if this was one of those times or not.

You were grazed, and that still scared the hell out of me.

You don’t know how often I think about getting a call from the hospital about you.

This ain’t something I take lightly. It’s not easy knowing you perform a dangerous job day in and day out. I get worried, Lai.”

I leaned forward and kissed his lips until our tongues rolled as one.

His full lips and big beard comforted me in more ways than one.

The greatest feeling in the world was knowing that if I had no one in my corner, Sur would always be there.

His mouth was warm and sweet like he’d just eaten something fruity.

Sur’s heavy hand gripped the side of my face as we indulged in one of the best kisses we had shared since my infidelity.

We had come a long way, and I didn’t want to ruin it.

Plus, I never missed a moment to feel his mouth against mine.

Sur comforted me and made me more secure than money in a vault.

When I felt him fully relax and bask in our kiss, I knew he was a little better. Slowly, I pulled away and gazed into his hazel green eyes.

“Sur, love, you have every right to feel the way you do. I don’t try to scare you intentionally.

You know I try to be as safe as possible.

However, every situation is different. I love my job ridding the world of one bad guy at a time, but I make no excuses.

Today was just one of those days where things went a little different than we expected.

What do you say we get out of here and grab some sushi? It will be my treat, handsome.”

Sur sighed and nodded. “You’re right. Thanks for acknowledging my feelings. You know I love you, and I don’t want anything to happen to you, Lai.”

“I love you, Sur, and I receive your feelings.”

“Good. Now, let’s go and get this sushi you treatin’ my fine ass to.”

We laughed together. I always called him my fine ass husband because Sur was fine as hell.

The nurse came in later and discharged me.

Sur carried me bridal style to his truck and drove to our favorite sushi restaurant.

When we arrived, we were seated immediately.

There was no need to even look at the menu because we knew it like the back of our hands.

Our table was filled with all of our favorites with all the trimmings, warm sake, and water.

I swallowed my yellow tail then looked at Sur. “How was your work week, baby?”

“Busy like usual, but I’m dealing with a patient who I’m almost certain is being abused by her father.

There’s fear in the child and mom’s eyes, and I know he’s responsible.

I’ve seen that look before. I know it’s him,” he revealed.

Sur drank some of his sake then went back to eating.

He swallowed. “How are you? How’s work going outside of today’s incident? ”
