“Just read it,” he says.

I scan the document briefly, and my gaze flies to his in disbelief.

It’s the deed to a cabin in Finland, with both our names on the title.

“The owner rebuilt the cabin after the fire, and I approached her asking if she would be interested in selling it,” he says. He pauses for a second before continuing, “The original sauna is still there.”

I just blink at him.

“I wouldn’t normally make such a big decision without consulting you, but I really wanted this to be a surprise.” Harry’s voice is husky.

“Oh, trust me, it’s definitely a surprise,” I say.

“I figure…” he clears his throat. “I figure if we ever get caught up in the details and forget the basics of what’s important in life, we can go back there to remind ourselves.”

I glance back down at our names, side by side on the deed.

“I think that is a really, really good idea. One of your better ones, in fact,” I say, as his face relaxes. “Of course there’s not that many of them to choose from?—”

I’m cut off by Harry closing the distance between us and kissing me.

I kiss him back because nothing gives me more happiness than kissing this stubborn, opinionated, complicated man who ismine.

And kissing Harry is always a good reminder that while we don’t agree on so many issues, we’ll always be in perfect sync regarding the things that truly matter.
