Sienna

M y entire body is sizzling with the aftermath of that mind-blowing, toe-curling orgasm.

Gods… there is nothing that Jayce can’t do, and the way he kisses me… my lips are still tingling from the sensation.

I gaze at Jayce through my lashes, and reaching over, I tug him closer, kissing his lips. His hand still remains on my pussy, and my entire body is tingling with pleasure.

He deepens the kiss, consuming me entirely, and then he’s slowly tugging away.

I look into his now blue eyes as he slips his hand out of my shorts and wraps it around my waist, tugging me against him. My cheeks burn, feeling and loving the way his hard cock is pressed against my thigh.

“That was the best ‘happy birthday’ ever,” I whisper, playing with the silver chain he’s wearing around his neck, before looking into his eyes bravely.

He smirks, cupping my chin as he places a soft kiss on my lips before he sits up slightly. I wish he didn’t, but he’s reaching for something. I watch curiously, scooting back a little, and I sit up when he holds out a large envelope and a box of chocolates.

I smile up at him. “These are my favourite, thank you.”

“I know,” he answers, giving me a faint smile.

“I shouldn’t be surprised.” I laugh.

He’s watching me as I turn the envelope over and remove the small sticker holding it shut.

I slide the thick paper out of it, my heart skipping a beat as I realise instantly what it is, as dark red curls come into view.

I slowly slide the portrait fully out. It’s a portrait of me, one hand resting under my chin, looking into the distance.

Every part of me is drawn perfectly, and my heart skips a beat as I recognise the dress with cherries. This was last summer…

“This is…”

“17th July, at Uncle Alejandro’s. You looked beautiful that day, and it’s one of those moments I didn’t need to have you in front of me to remember every detail,” he says softly.

My heart thumps as I look down at the art. This is so beautiful… he’s got my beauty spot, my bracelet, my hair… all of it is perfect. In the corner in black ink, he’s written ‘To the most beautiful girl in the world’ and beneath it his signature - J WESTWOOD.

The most beautiful girl? I look up at him shyly. “It’s… beautiful, thank you so much.”

I’m always going to cherish it.

I place it carefully on his desk beside the bed, then fling my arms around him and pull him closer against me.

“Thank you.” I place a tender kiss on his cheek.

And then my breath catches as he smiles – not a smirk, not something small or guarded, but a full, heart-stopping smile.

Gorgeous dimples, perfect teeth, and sharp, green eyes that soften just for me.

Any words I may have had die on my lips. My mouth is dry, and I can only stare at him. At the man I am utterly and hopelessly in love with, so completely it aches.

He’s perfect for me.

Then my phone rings, sharp and sudden, snapping me out of the haze.

“Shit,” I whisper, fumbling to comprehend where the sound is coming from. Then, realising it’s in my gown pocket. “It’s probably Mama or the girls. I told them to call later…”

“It’s all good. You should get back to your room. Your bedroom walls are different from mine as well.”

I close my mouth, about to tell him I won’t be long, but he’s right… This room is different from mine, and so is the headboard. I liked sleeping in his arms.

I nod slowly, eyes on him as I pick up my gown and slip it over my bare skin.

I reach into the pocket and take out my phone, my body still humming from the orgasm he gave me.

My legs feel weak, and I am far too aware of the tender, pulsing heat between them.

His hands find my waist, and he kisses my shoulder, making my core clench.

I bite my lip before turning to look at him, my fingers ghosting over his.

“Ahren’s throwing me a party today,” I say softly.

“Will you talk to him? At least try?” I don’t want to keep hiding.

I know he is waiting for the right moment, but I don’t want to keep us a secret anymore. I want to be with him openly.

He turns me in his arms and steps closer, his forehead resting against mine, his breath warm. “I promised to give you everything you wanted. If I find a moment, I will. But I will not let it ruin your birthday.”

I nod. That is enough for now.

“Thank you. I will see you in the morning, then?”

He nods, then kisses me again, slow and deep, like he wants it to linger on my lips long after I leave. Then he opens the door, checks the corridor, and gives me a look that makes my chest flutter, his eyes raking appreciatively over me one final time, his tongue running over his lips.

Blushing, I pick up my gifts and step out into the quiet hallway, clutching my chocolates and my picture to my chest. The taste of him still on my lips, the ache between my thighs still sweet as I make my way back to my room, happy.

Once inside, I glance at Shahira, who is fast asleep, her long hair strewn across her pillow.

I tiptoe to my side of the room and look into my mirror, my heart skipping a beat as I look at my rosy cheeks and the marks he’s left on my neck.

I trace my finger over them before arranging my hair over my shoulders, unable to stop smiling.

Sitting cross-legged on my bed, I place the picture he gave me on the bed in front of me, admiring it contently. Suddenly, my phone buzzes and I blink, realising I got distracted.

Oh, the call! They must be waiting for me!

I whisper a silencing spell before I check my missed calls. One group call from Allie and Heaven, and then a group video call with everyone as well. There’s a tonne of messages too from everyone, including Grandpa Al, Aunty Kiara, Sky, Kat, Dante, Azura, Corrado, Aunty Winona and Grandpa Marcel.

Taking a deep breath and acting as normal as I can, I call them back; it’s Mama, Ahren, Tatum, Aunty Raihana, Heaven and Allie. Instantly, most of them answer, and within seconds, everyone’s faces come up in small boxes on the screen.

“Happy birthday, Sienna!” they say in unison, making me giggle at how out of tune they are.

“Thanks, everyone,” I answer, smiling at Jaddati and Mama, who are on the same little square on the screen.

Aunty Raihana seems to be in a hotel room, probably travelling like usual.

Ahren is somewhere very dark. Are those trees behind him?

Looks like some eerie place. Tatum is in bed.

I can tell clearly from his messy hair that he was asleep.

Heaven and Allie are in their beds, too; Allie has her hair braided neatly.

I smile, my family.

“How are you?”

“Why didn’t you pick up?”

“Were you asleep?”

“One at a time,” Jaddati says, making everyone go quiet.

“I’m good, and I was just getting ready for bed.” I feel guilty for lying, and steal a glance at Heaven and Allie, neither changes their expressions, but I see a message from our group chat pop up at the top.

HEAVEN: Oh, really? Liar.

ALLIE: You were with Jayce, weren’t you? Whoa, he’s number one before us? The beginning of the end is here… next is Heaven.

HEAVEN: I’m only sixteen.

ALLIE: But unlike me, you do want to find a guy, gross!

SIENNA: Lol, you girls are crazy! And yes, I was with Jayce. I’ll tell you tomorrow.

HEAVEN: Yesss, omg!

ALLIE: Eww, spare me the details if it’s gross.

“So how do you feel?” Aunty Raihana asks.

“Good!” I reply quickly, knowing the girls are probably face-palming internally. “I mean normal – nothing like wanting to shift or anything.”

“That tends to happen as the day progresses and when the moon hits its highest peak,” Mama explains. “I think you’ll get your wolf.”

“I’d like one,” I admit softly. I smile as I look at Mama, my own eyes blurring with tears, and she smiles back gently, her eyes glittering with unshed tears.

We’re both remembering Dad…

“He’d be so proud of the woman you’ve become,” Jaddati says softly.

“Dad would,” Ahren agrees. “Cheer up, today is your day. I think everyone’s booking you out at some point.”

“I’ll be there at breakfast time,” Tatum says.

“Us too,” Heaven adds quickly as the mood lightens once more. I smile fondly, watching them.

“And we’ll be headed there for lunch,” Mama says, motioning to herself and Jaddati. “Can you make it, Ri?”

“Of course I can,” Aunty Raihana adds with a smile. “It’s not every day you turn eighteen. You’re officially an adult now.”

“I am.” I nod.

“Doesn’t mean you can do whatever you wish,” Ahren reminds me.

“You’re one to talk,” Allie scoffs.

“And then there’s the party in the evening. I won’t be able to come during the day, but I’ll make it up to you by throwing you an amazing party,” Ahren adds after sticking his tongue out at Allie.

“I’m excited for everything,” I say. It also means I won’t get to see Jayce during the day, but that’s ok, I’ll see him in the morning and then at night. And since it is a no-adult party, it means I won’t need to worry about too many people having their eyes on me.

“Look at her, she’s already glowing,” Jaddati says, and my cheeks burn with embarrassment. If only they knew why!

Gods.

Heaven arches an eyebrow. “Maybe it’s Aunty Delsanra’s genes shining through.” But I don’t miss the sarcasm in that remark.

Allie snickers.

“What? I don’t remember glowing,” Ahren jokes, lightly patting his cheek.

He then stiffens, his eyes turning red, and I see his horns growing from his head. “I need to go.” And then the call is cut.

We’re silent for a moment. It’s always unnerving seeing his horns, but more than that, where was he? What is he doing?

“Don’t worry, Mama, he’ll be safe,” I say softly, although I know it’s probably dangerous, but this is Ahren. He can teleport away if he needs to. We need him, all of us.

“He will be,” Jaddati says confidently, giving Mama a gentle smile.

We all chatter for a bit longer before I bid them all goodnight and end the call. I reply to my text messages, smiling as I read them.

AZURA: Happy Birthday girl! Take advantage of being eighteen, if you know what I’m saying. Leo also says Happy Birthday, but he’s a buzzkill and said don’t listen to me. Love you. ?

AUNTY WINONA: Happy Birthday, Sienna, I hope you have a fabulous day. Love me and the girls.

GRANDPA AL: Have a good fucking day. Eighteen ain’t small. If you need anything, let me know.

GRANDPA MARCEL: Happy Birthday, dear, may all your wishes come true. Keep shining.

AUNTY KIARA: Happy Birthday, angel. I hope you have the best day ever. Lots of love, ??? missing you.

RENJI: Happy Birthday, beautiful. I’d tease you, but I’ll be nice since it’s your birthday.

I smile, about to reply, when I freeze, seeing Aunty Raven’s message pop up.

My stomach does a somersault as I almost panic. Wait, calm down. It’s not like she knows anything. Breathe…

I click on her message, holding my breath.

AUNTY RAVEN: Happy Birthday! I hope you have a lovely day, my darling, lots of love from the Westwoods!

For a moment, I imagine myself becoming one of them, being Jayce’s… mate. My heart skips a beat as I think of it, with all the quints mated, and we’re all chilling together. And I’d be Sienna Elektra Kendall Westwood.

SIENNA: Thank you, Aunty, I hope you and the family are well. ?

I smile, feeling happy, and quickly send Ahren a text to let me know he’s ok when he’s finished whatever he’s up to.

Admiring my picture once more, I slip it into the envelope and place it into my bedside drawer before unwrapping a chocolate as I revisit that orgasm.

Blushing, I send him a message.

SIENNA: Hey, just want to say thank you again for tonight. It was perfect. See you in the morning. ?

JAYCE: You’re welcome. Get some rest. We’ll talk then.

I heart his message, about to put the phone down when it lights up again.

JAYCE: By the way, you looked beautiful tonight, Darling.

My heart skips a beat, and I drop onto my pillows. Gods, Jayce Westwood is so, so swoonworthy. I climb under the duvet, snuggling down into a cosy position, excited for what the day will bring.

It’s my birthday.

I’m eighteen, Dad.

I close my eyes, imagining him wishing me a happy birthday, playing out the perfect scene.

A tear escapes, and my mind wanders to the man in my dreams. What was he promising me?

With these thoughts playing in my mind, I fall into a deep slumber.
