Her little giggles go straight to my cock. What would it be like to have her under me, her giggles turning to moans as I find her pleasure points…

We hit the highway, and the sun on my skin and wind on my face makes me smile. I close my eyes and lean my head back. There’s something about living in California that New York can’t compare to. In the city, the streets are congested; it’s loud, and people are everywhere. Out here—while it’s still just as busy—everything seems more open. The roads are wider, the sky seems higher, and the people are friendlier.

About an hour later, we make it to Malibu. “We had to come all the way out to Malibu for a hike? Aren’t there a lot of trails closer?” I ask, seeing a sign for Escondido Canyon Trail and Waterfalls.

She smiles at me and nods. “Yes, but none of them are as pretty as this one. I love coming out here, but I don’t like hiking it alone. When you said you were willing to come with me, I jumped at the chance. Do you do a lot of hiking?”

I look down at my clothing and sneakers and back at her as she gets into actual hiking boots. “Clearly not,” I laugh. “I haven’t had the chance to do a lot in nature, and then, growing up in the city, there is no such thing as a hike there. The only way I could walk through nature back home was to head out to northern New York, and that hardly ever happened. We did it a few times on school trips and once in college, but I never got into it.”

“Well, I bet today will change your mind. Come on.”

I’m sure it will, especially if you’re my hiking buddy. We load up our backpacks with food and water, then lock up her Jeep. There are a few cars around but not many, and she seems pleased.

We settle into easy conversation just like last night, and she knocks into my arm every time I make her laugh. As we walk, my fingers keep brushing against hers, and I fight the urge to wrap her tiny hand up in mine. It would be so easy. She seems comfortable being close to me.

Would she let me hold her hand?

I test my theory and stick my index finger out to catch hers as we brush hands again. When mine locks with hers, she looks at our hands and smiles. She doesn’t seem to mind my touch, but I drop her hand anyway.Get it together, Bradley.

We both share the horrors of tanked auditions, crap jobs while auditioning, and even crappier roles. I still stand by the fact thatAltered Realityis hands down the worst movie ever made, but the more I talk to Elena, the more I see it through her eyes. Her effervescence is refreshing as she recounts many of the scenes and special effects used. She reminds me so much of Jasmine. She was easily excited over the smallest things, too—including me getting that part.

She smacks me in the arm repeatedly, and I follow her pointed finger. There’s a deer grazing in a grassy area to the right of us. She locks eyes with us, sensing our presence in her turf. She can’t be more than twenty feet away from us.

“She’s not going to charge us or something, is she?” I whisper.

“No. But I’ve been here a dozen times, and I’ve never seen a deer out before. This is awesome!”

There’s a loud chorus of laughter coming up behind us. Elena tenses beside me, her eyes widen a fraction, and she grabs my hand, squeezing it.Why is she scared? The deer’s ears perk up, and she runs off, hoping to avoid a larger crowd.

“Looks like we have company coming,” I say, pulling us behind a few trees to shield her from prying eyes.

I’m sure the last thing she wants today is to be bothered by anyone asking for a picture or an autograph. I turn her around so she faces me, her back to the trail, and I watch as a group of teenagers pass us. I press my body into hers a little and place my hands on either side of her face, keeping her attention on me.

Her body is so soft underneath mine. Her breathing kicks up, and it presses her chest to mine, her nipples hardening under her tank top. The light brush of them through my shirt makes me ache for more.

It would be so easy to lean in and kiss her.

Would she let me? I lean my face closer to hers, and she closes her eyes, her pink lips parting—inviting me in. I lean forward a little more, testing how close I can get before she pushes me away. Her breath fans over my lips, and her chest rises and falls in rapid succession.

“Yeah! Kiss her, man. Let her know who’s boss,” one of the boys yells at us as the rest of the group laughs. Her eyes pop open, and she grabs my arms just under my elbows, pulling me flush against her. She ducks her head into the crook of my neck. I feel her heart beating in her chest and her breath on my neck. I breathe in deeply, smelling everything that is Elena. She’s soft beneath me, and my growing cock rests on her stomach.

I pull my hips away from her body as blood continues to travel south, trying to embarrass me further. She doesn’t need to feel what she’s doing to me. Our upper bodies stay fused a minute longer. Her scent is intoxicating. It’s not the same as last night though. Now, it’s her natural scent, and fuck if it’s not better than the perfume.

“I won’t let them see you. Do you have a hat in that bag of yours? Maybe you can put it on?” I offer.

She shakes her head. “No, it’s fine. Just let them get a little bit ahead. I’m sure they won’t even notice me.” She peeks around the tree, and when she doesn’t see anyone, takes my hand in hers and pulls me with her. “Come on, the trail waits for no one.” She gives me a full-toothed smile and continues on like nothing happened.

What was that about?

Chapter 5

I knowthe people on the trail were just teenagers. However, after the letter I got last night, I’m a bit jumpy. Brad seemed to notice my attitude change and pulled me off the trail to hide me.How perfect was that response? The last thing I want to tell him is about a potential stalker. He doesn’t need that level of crazy in his life.

When he had my back pressed against the tree and the boys were yelling out, my first instinct was to hold him closer. His forearms were strong under my touch, and his body pressed against mine was causing all sorts of naughty thoughts to frolic through my head. Then I got a whiff of his aftershave, and I had to bury my face in the hollow of his neck. My tongue peeked out from my lips, wanting a taste of his olive skin, but I managed to rein it in just in time for him to extricate himself from me.

We’re walking up the trail, and I know he’s trying to keep the conversation going, but I’m lost in thought.Snap out of it!He’s never going to want to hang out again if I can’t get my shit together and move past this funk.

I cut him off. “Have you ever used pick-up lines on a girl?”
