The Protest Dress

White silk wrap skirt with a wide opening to show a pale-purple underskirt and gold silk partial overskirt. White chiffon shirt with a deep v at the front and short sleeves studded with purple beads. Pale-purple under-bodice. The high waist is embroidered with purple beading to look like a cummerbund. There is a gold flower with a white centre at the waist made from velvet. The gown is finished with a large, white bow with intricate purple embroidery down each tail.
