T he next couple of weeks follow the same pattern. I go to class and games, spend time with the girls, hang with the team, have dinner with my dad, and get fucked seven ways to Sunday in Alexander’s bed every night. And it’s not just his bed, it’s everywhere. The shower, the car, an empty classroom, and Daemon and Archer were really onto something with fucking in the kitchen. It’s both explosive and addictive, and I have never been happier. Alexander is by my side for everything, tending to my every need, and looking good while doing it.
It’s weird, the three years I spent with Ben now feel insignificant in comparison to the three months I have known Alexander. There is just something the two of us have that I have never experienced with another person before, and I’m not just talking about the sex. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I never knew anything could feel that good, but it’s everything else too. Our friendship, our connection, the way he can just look at me and know exactly what I’m thinking, exactly what I need. It’s like we are two halves of the same soul, and falling for him was inevitable.
It’s Thursday now, and we are sitting at the kitchen island for our usual tutoring lesson, because someone can’t be trusted to do them in his room anymore. Not when the last two sessions were interrupted by him bending me over his desk. If I want to keep up with him in class, and not just the bedroom, we can no longer hold sessions upstairs.
I’m in the middle of writing an essay which he has already finished, when his hand lands on my thigh. “Don’t even think about it, Alexander,” I warn, not even looking up from my paper. “This essay is due tomorrow, and the last thing I need is Mr. Rogers bitching me out about it,” I tell him sternly, and I don’t have to look at him to know he is rolling his eyes.
“How about, don’t even think about it because I am sitting right here,” Nova drawls from his spot across the island, and I flick my stare to him, to find him glaring at us in warning.
Okay so he and Maddie may have caught us last week in the kitchen, but in my defense they were on their way to do the very same thing.
“Like I didn’t hear you and Maddie fucking in the bathroom last night,” Alexander tosses back, making his captain shrug with a knowing smirk.
“I can’t help it, brother, I’m fucking addicted to that girl,” he replies proudly, and I can’t help but smile down into my essay.
It’s basically a giant lovefest around here between all the guys, then you add in Josh and Hallie, who much to his dismay, have started to become a permanent fixture here too, well, it’s safe to say there is a lot of fucking going on.
“Yeah, I know the feeling,” Alexander grumbles back, squeezing my thigh in his thick palm, before pulling it back and sighing dramatically. “I suppose I’ll just have to get a cup of tea nice and hot instead of my girlfriend.”
Nova and I both watch him stomp around the island moodily, smirking at one another, before I focus back on my work. The next couple of hours pass much in the same manner, me trying to work and Alexander trying to distract me, it’s a miracle I get anything done, let alone finish the essay. Yet, by the time Daemon and Archer stroll down to the kitchen with their red, satisfied faces, I am finally packing my books away.
“I’ve just been eaten and now it’s time to eat,” Archer declares as he enters, and Nova groans, slamming his book shut.
“What the fuck did I do to deserve putting up with you as my best friend,” he complains, stacking up his stuff and shoving it back into his bag.
Archer just moves to his side and tosses his arm around his shoulder. “Aw, I love you too, brother,” he beams, trying to kiss his cheek, but Nova throws himself off the stool to escape him, ducking his advances.
“Fuck off, I’m pretty sure we all know where that mouth has just been,” he snaps, holding his hands out in front of him, and Daemon smirks as he moves to the refrigerator and starts pulling out the ingredients to make dinner.
He and Archer switch out nights they spend at one another’s houses, and apparently Daemon cooks for him on every single one of them. I’m always grateful when I get to join them for dinner and eat his food, because despite the sounds I hear coming from Archer’s room, I’m pretty sure Daemon’s real talent is in the kitchen. Apparently he is also a phenomenal artist too, but I’ve never seen it.
“You’d be right on that front,” Archer tosses back, sliding up behind his boyfriend and pushing his arms around until they can flatten on his stomach.
Daemon flinches slightly before settling into his arms, and as always, I sigh as I look at them. They are so beyond perfect for each other that whenever I hear Alexander talking about how they used to hate one another it just seems ridiculous. It’s the same with Nova and Maddie, I can’t imagine any world where they weren’t head over heels in love and obsessed with one another.
“Please, gentlemen, there is a lady present,” Alexander scolds them, which only makes Archer and I laugh.
“Who? Our little resident troublemaker here?” Archer asks, abandoning Daemon and moving to ruffle my hair. “We all know she’s a fiery little minx now, Alexander, and she deserves a fucking medal for swallowing your fucking massive baguette,” he tells him firmly, offering me a wink, as he puts his arm around me.
“I hope you washed your hands,” I toss back, and he sheepishly pulls his arm back and rushes to the sink.
“You’re a heathen,” Alexander scolds him, watching him with a disgusted look.
“What does that make you?” Archer asks in outrage.
Alexander only looks at me and smiles. “Oh, so much worse than that.”
“How the fuck am I supposed to put up with you all until graduation,” Nova mutters under his breath, and I smile.
When I lost my mom I thought I would never feel like I was part of a family again, but I was wrong, being here with Alexander and his friends, it feels like home again. They’re all healing me one step at a time, and I couldn’t be more grateful for them making me forget about all my heartbreak.
As for Ben, he still hasn’t been seen. I know Alexander is tracking him with the help of Duchess, who I have since found out has worked for him for five years now, and though he doesn’t tell me much, I know he’s pissed about it. I don’t know where Ben is and honestly, I don’t care. If I never saw him again it would be too soon, and Malorie heeded my warning, and hasn’t contacted me or come by since she showed up when Alexander and I got back from New York. I don’t even care if they are together, they deserve one another, and my only focus now is staying on track in my classes and being with Alexander.
For the first time in my life I feel like I have purpose, my own goals, my own everything, and I won’t let that go for anyone.
Daemon cooks us all fish tacos, and the five of us enjoy dinner together, with Evie and Jake coming home a couple of hours later. By the time Alexander and I fall into bed, I am exhausted, but all it takes is one look from him, and I am dragging him toward me and swallowing his cock.
I suck him into my mouth, swirling my tongue around his base and savoring the way he tips back his head and groans, sliding his hands into my hair and fucking my mouth with quick snaps of his hips. I breathe through my nose, taking as much of him as I can manage, until I am grazing against his groin. It isn’t long before his salty release shoots down the back of my throat and I am being pulled up and on top of him.
He spreads my thighs across his mouth and I ride his face without pause. His fingers dig into my ass as I grind and writhe against his tongue, and I am convinced that nothing in the world feels better than this. He makes me come three times until I am crying and begging to be fucked. Only then does he shove me down to his cock, which is once again hard and leaking with pre-cum. I slam myself down onto it and end my night the same way I have for the last two weeks. Riding his cock and screaming to a god I no longer believe in.
I’m still thinking about his cock the next day, when I’m at Maddie’s house getting ready for the guys’ game. We, along with Hallie and Evie, are all pre-drinking at their house, much to Alexander’s annoyance, but we figured since Ben doesn’t really know her and Hallie, or where they live, it would be safest. Maddie’s guard, and the one Alexander appointed as mine, are both outside, so we are all drinking and getting dressed without a care in the world.
We’re all wearing our respective guy’s jerseys and Maddie snaps a bunch of pictures of us in different poses, tagging me in them online. It’s nice, but all it does is remind me that I never had this. Malorie and I were never friends like this. I mean, yeah we hung out and had fun and took pictures, but it always felt like work, with everything on her terms. I’m only now just realizing how much of a problem that was, and what it’s like to have real friends.
When we make it to the game we are all sufficiently tipsy, and anticipation burns through me at the thought of seeing Alexander on the ice. Now that we are together I’m not ashamed to admit how hot I find him when he plays, and he fucking knows it too. As soon as the lights go down and the players start filling out onto the ice, my eyes scan for that familiar number sixty nine jersey. The one that matches the one I’m wearing, and as my dad makes his way to the box, I know his boys won’t be far behind.
Nova is first, his eyes instantly finding Maddie, a satisfied smirk crossing his mouth as he skates toward us and places his hand on the plexiglass. Maddie reaches hers to it, nodding her head with a smile, as he tosses her a wink, and I swear the group of girls behind us swoon. Josh is next, his approach is more of a slow and measured glide as he tracks where his wife is, tipping his head at her in greeting as he skates toward her. When he reaches us his eyes flare possessively, taking in his jersey, and the ring on her finger, before placing his hand over his heart and smiling softly.
Archer practically drags Daemon to a spot on the ice where they can stretch together, but my focus is now only on their goalie towering over all of them. Alexander knows where I am, his eyes meeting mine the second he appears on the ice, and just like every time he looks at me, my heart flutters in my chest. He doesn’t make a show of coming over and offering me his hand or a tip of his head, not with my dad still trying to wrap his head around what is going on between us. Instead, he reaches beneath his jersey and pulls out the chain he now wears religiously. He brings the ring that once represented my purity to his lips and kisses it softly. The only meaning it has now is that I belong to him. He tucks it back beneath his jersey, tossing me a wink, before he drops down beside his teammates and begins to stretch. I’m not ashamed to say I snap a few pictures of him warming up, before Evie and I dip out to grab another drink. By the time we get back, the game is about to start and we settle in to enjoy the show.
Of course to no one’s surprise, the Flyers dominate the ice, just like I have come to know and expect, and I snap a few shots of my dad in action too. It’s a great game and the atmosphere is insane, and I still can’t believe I used to let myself think I would never enjoy this. The guys play great, bagging yet another win, and as the girls and I filter out of our seats with the rest of the crowd, I feel nothing but pride.
We head to wait for the guys, having already made dinner plans for after the game, and I quickly excuse myself to use the bathroom. Once I’m done and washing my hands, I flick my stare to the mirror, smiling at my reflection staring back at me. My eyes no longer look filled with grief or uncertainty, instead I look happy, I’m glowing even, and I know it’s all thanks to my eccentric and slightly stalky goalie.
Who knew being Alexander Reign's girlfriend would be so damn healing?
