Page 20 of The Last One to Let You Down
“Huh?”
“You wanted to know what you looked like to me,” Cypress said, dropping a hand down onto Tom’s hip. He squeezed, pressing their bodies flush as he leaned in to whisper in Tom’s ear, “You looked like somebody who needs to be taken out to dinner, spanked hard, and fucked until you can’t move.”
Tom stiffened immediately, Cypress’s breath tickling his sensitive ear and making all the little hairs on the back of his neck stand up. No one had ever talked to him like this—it was filthy, indecent, and he wanted more.
“Does that sound about right?” Cypress pressed. “You want somebody to be in charge, hmm? Tell you what to do so you can escape from the world for a little while?”
“Yes.” Tom closed his eyes, another shudder rocking through his body and making his spent dick twitch.
Grabbing Tom’s ass, Cypress demanded, “Yes, what?”
“Yes, sir,” Tom replied immediately. “I liked it. I liked it a lot.”
“You’ve really never done anything like that before?”
“No.”
“Good.” Cypress looked pleased. “Then I have a lot to teach you.”
“Yeah?” Tom unconsciously licked his lip, running the tip of his tongue over the little gash.
“Oh, definitely,” Cypress promised.
“So, what? Is that the deal? You get to show me a good time, teach me some stuff, and you won’t call the cops?”
“As long as you’re a good student,” Cypress said with a wink. “Tomorrow, then?”
“Yes,” Tom answered right away before cringing. “Shit, no. I can’t tomorrow. I’m on call.”
“So?”
“It means I have to be able to leave my house or wherever I am at any moment to come back here to pick up someone if they die.”
“What about… hmm, Saturday?”
Tom ran his schedule through his head before answering this time. “Yeah, I’m free that night. I usually get off work at five unless I have a late prep. Where do you want—”
“I’ll pick you up. Say seven o’clock?”
“Yeah. Totally.” Tom was absolutely buzzing, and he couldn’t stop smiling. He had a date. They were going out on a real date. When Cypress leaned in to kiss him again, he had to resist the urge to pump his fist into the air.
Okay, so Cypress was technically going to be blackmailing him into learning some very sexy weird lessons of some kind, but this was infinitely better than being forced into selling embalming fluid.
Right?
If nothing else, it would buy him some time to figure out what to do about Junior and had the added bonus of totally getting laid.
“Does this have anything to do with what I saw?” Cypress asked, gingerly rubbing his thumb over Tom’s split lower lip.
“Huh?” Both the question and the concern Tom saw in Cypress’s eyes were unexpected.
“Somebody put their hands on you?”
“No.” Tom shook his head. “Work-related injury. Family wasn’t ready to let go of their loved one yet.”
“Does that happen often?”
“No? Sometimes?” Tom sighed. “Death can be very complicated. People are complicated. It can get messy.”
