“Yes,” I told him. “Can’t you tell?”

“I think I’m going to be sick,” he murmured, burying his face into my chest.

I hummed, stroking his hair back and trailing my hand down his shoulders. “You’ll be okay. Caspian, get him some water.”

Caspian was off, ever ready to serve, and back before Jacob had even made it into a sitting position. He twisted the cap off a bottle of water and extended it to Orion, who shivered when their fingers brushed.

“Small sips, pet,” I warned, and Orion obeyed. “You made a mess of his mouth. Do you want to taste it?”

Orion shifted, glancing up at me like the answer wanted to be a yes even though he didn’t have the letters to spell it out.

“Priest,” I said, before Orion could try. The order was unspoken and understood. Jacob licked Orion’s cum from Caspian’s mouth, then slanted his mouth over Orion’slike they’d been kissing each other that way for three years, not one night. After Jacob pulled away for a breath, Orion tilted himself up enough to kiss me, and then I closed the ring by kissing Caspian.

The sight of them was almost too much to bear. Caspian on his knees, Jacob on his ass, and Orion on my lap, all three of them waiting for me to decide what would come next. I’d never felt more powerful, and I’d never been more scared.

But that was life, I wagered.

At least, that was our life.
