“Just so happens,” Jamie said, “that I amkind ofan expert at this. I could help you out. For a price.”

“Wow! How… lucky.” I pushed my hips forward, thrusting against his hand, and it felt so good my toes curled. “What kind of fees do you charge? Because I’m concerned that my insurance won’t cover this kind of procedure.”

Jamie snorted and buried his nose against my neck. “That’s why I only bill directly.”

His phone clattered on the nightstand again, and he huffed a breath that warmed my skin. “People need to get a life. It’s barely seven thirty,” he muttered. But his hand didn’t stop moving, which I took to be a very good sign that he wasn’t going to let anyone distract us.

“I don’t have much money to pay you,” I said sadly, getting us back on track. “I’d imagine a professional like yourself could command a really high price.”

“It’s true,” Jamie growled. He nudged his cock against my ass again. “But I have a whole different pay scale in mind for you.”

“Shit.” I reached back and gripped his hip, pulling him more tightly against me.

Jamie hissed slightly, and I turned my head, not understanding… until suddenly I did.

“Sore?”

Jamie grunted an affirmative, but that didn’t stop him from nudging against me again.

“Poor thing.”

“I’m definitely not complaining,” Jamie said. “More like, wondering how many more times we can do that before you go…”

Jamie’s doorbell rang, and I felt him tense behind me.

“Are you fucking kidding me?” he demanded of no one in particular. “Who rings someone’s doorbell unannounced?”

“Girl Scouts with cookies?” I suggested. “Missionaries? Gutter salesmen? Sexy, twinky bottoms who get lost in the rain and break down on a deserted road right in front of a sex club full of horny tops?”

Jamie relaxed against me again. “Parker, why does this stuff never come up onmyporn searches?”

“Porn with plot subreddit,” I said solemnly. “It’ll change your life.”

“I think I’d prefer to—Shit.” The doorbell became insistent knocking on the front door.

“You could ignore them,” I suggested. “It’d be kinda unprofessional of you to leave a patient in this condition. Your reputation might suffer.”

Jamie laughed. But when the doorbell ringing started again, he groaned against my neck. “They’re not going away, are they?”

“Go.” I pulled his hand off me and pressed a kiss to his palm. “Just fucking get rid of them.”

“I’m gonna kill whoever it is,” Jamie said, rolling over and grabbing his jeans from the floor. “What do we know about hiding bodies?”

I laughed. “I’ll google it. Hey!” I demanded, when he started for the hall still naked from the waist up. “Shirt?”

“Right.” He went to the closet and grabbed a sweatshirt blindly from the shelf. It happened to be one of mine, and no lie, seeing the Boston logo across his broad chest didnothingto make my erection go away.

“If itisGirl Scouts, buy out their entire stock first!” I called. “I like the mint ones! And if it’s a twinky bottom—”

Jamie tossed me a look over his shoulder.

“Tell him we’re busy,” I finished meekly.

He grinned and pulled the door closed.

“Ugh.” I flopped back against the pillows and smiled up at the ceiling.

It was fine. Totally fine.
