Chapter Forty-Three
Mikah
Nine months later…
“He’s cute,” I say, nudging Dominic with my elbow as I jerk my chin toward Storm and his date.
“Yeah, in a nerdy kind of way.”
I roll my eyes. “You think they’re together, or what?” Dominic shrugs. “He came all the way to Kauai from Seattle, so I’d say… probably.”
“He looks nervous…”
Dominic moves in front of me, blocking my view of Storm and his date, Gabriel.
“Why are you so concerned with them? You should be concerned with me. We’re getting married, remember?”
I roll my eyes. “How could I forget?”
The beach is quiet, save for the soft sound of the waves crashing against the shore. People walk along the surf, some of them glancing our way with smiles. The sun is just going down, and we’re already in place, prepared to say our I do’s and make this official, just as the sun is at the prettiest point. When it turns the sky beautiful shades of orange and pink and colors you couldn’t imagine if you didn’t see.
“Are you ready?” the officiant says quietly.
“Absolutely,” Dominic says with a grin before winking at me.
I’m surprised he waited this long. He was ready to marry me the day after he asked. Hell, he wanted to marry me before he asked. Though I knew there was no point in waiting, I did want to make this memorable. I wanted us to have a special day and a special place.
“Yes,” I answer.
“Then let’s get started.”
“One sec.” Dominic holds up his finger and turns toward our guests. “We want to thank you all for coming this far to celebrate with us,” Dominic says. “This will be quick, just a formality needed so he can’t get away from me again.” Dominic chuckles and so do our friends. I roll my eyes again. “We’ll be at the bar right over there once we’re officially married. Be prepared to celebrate!”
I shake my head as he grins, turning back to the officiant.
“Okay, we’re definitely ready now,” he says.
The officiant, a middle-aged guy named Harry with kind eyes and a white beard, gives a small speech about how rare true love is and how important finding your person is. I hold Dominic’s gaze the entire time. Not a single thing on his face tells me he’s worried or may regret this. I am, without a doubt, convinced this man loves me and wants to be with me. Just as I feel the same for him.
We’d gone back and forth on our wedding and what we wanted to do. This place doesn’t hold any meaning to us, it’s just a beautiful place we chose to make memories.
Neither of us has a ton of friends, so we knew it would be an intimate wedding. Coming here made it even smaller, considering not everyone wanted to travel. But the most important people to us are here. Zach, my best friend, and Emmet, Dominic’s stepbrother.
We invited Storm, of course, because we’ve kept in touch with him, and he is a friend. There haven’t been any repeats of that first night, but I wouldn’t be opposed to it. Though, he seems caught up with someone now… and I can’t be sure if it’s serious or not. But they look adorable together. Zach brought his oldest sister with him because he didn’t want to travel alone. Emmet brought his friend Adam, though I’m pretty sure they’re more than friends. Apparently, Adam is going through a divorce and Emmet wanted to keep him occupied… with his dick. Okay, he didn’t say that last part, but I’m pretty sure it’s the truth.
“The rings, please,” the officiant says, and we dig them out of our pockets and hand them over. Not traditional at all, but who cares?
The smile on my face won’t leave, and when Dominic takes my hand and slips the ring on, saying “I do,” I almost melt.
His grin is brighter than I’ve ever seen before when it’s my turn to put the ring on his finger, repeat the vows, and say I do.
Dominic is kissing me before Harry says to do so. I go with it, because this is my husband, ladies and gentlemen, and I wouldn’t change him for the world.
Dominic shoves me onto the bed. I land stomach-first, and he tears at my pants. Fabric rips.
“Hey!” I say. “Take it easy.”
“No fucking way. Nope. Not tonight. Not after all this.”
I try to help him get my pants off because he’s acting like an animal, and I’d rather him not tear them to shreds. When they’re off, he’s hoisting my hips up and burying his face in my ass.
“Fuck!” I cry out, gripping onto the sheets and trying to get myself comfortable.
He growls. “You taste so fucking good, husband .”
“Damn, that sounds so good. Say it again.”
He chuckles, pulling away. “You like when I lick your slutty little hole, husband ?”
“Fuck yes! ”
His tongue travels to my balls, and he licks them until I’m aching and needy. He slips two fingers inside me, working me open before he’s sliding his dick inside.
“You feel so much better now that we’re married.”
“Impossible,” I say. “I’ve felt good this whole time. ”
I smirk at him over my shoulder.
“Damn right you have, baby. Now shut up and let me fuck you.”
Dominic presses my head into the mattress and fucks me hard, his dick stroking my prostate and keeping me on the edge for far too long.
“Let me come!” I beg, my voice muffled by the sheets.
“Not yet.”
“Please, Dominic.”
“I’ll tell you when.”
I let out a frustrated groan, causing him to laugh. His arm goes around my waist, and he pulls me to him, until my back is pressed against his chest. He rocks into me, hitting my spot even better.
“I’ll come like this if you don’t stop,” I warn.
“No the fuck you won’t.”
“Yes, I will,” I argue, digging my nails into his forearms that are wrapped around me. Glancing down, I see his wedding band glimmering on his finger.
“You better n—”
“I am! Fuck, baby, I’m coming.”
It hits me out of nowhere, my dick pulsing and throbbing, cum spraying all over the bed.
“You little brat,” Dominic growls in my ear as he works me through my hands-free orgasm. When it subsides, he pulls out of me. “Clean up your mess. ”
I lean down to lick it all up, and there’s a sharp crack to my ass. The stinging is instant, and I yelp.
“That’s for not listening.”
“I warned… you,” I pant, finding a spot of cum that I missed. I crawl over to it and lick it up, turning onto my back to show him my tongue covered in my cum.
“Fuck,” he hisses, leaning over me and dragging his tongue along mine to lick it up. It turns into a heated kiss and he’s sliding back into me, fucking me slow but hard. “You feel so good.”
“So come for me,” I tell him. “Show me how good I make you feel.”
He chuckles. “You’re so lucky I love you.”
“I know.”
Dominic kisses me again, thrusting faster. His breaths get sharp and jagged, and I work my hips, knowing he’s close and wanting his cum inside me. He comes with a deep rumble in his chest, dick throbbing.
“Yes,” I breathe out, clenching my ass around him.
“You feel too good.”
“Too good?” I ask with a smirk.
“Okay, not too good.”
I kiss him before he pulls out of me and goes to the bathroom to get a towel to clean me up, like he always does. Then we get into bed together.
“I came because I saw your wedding ring,” I admit.
Dominic huffs out a laugh. “Seriously? ”
“Yeah…”
“That’s so fucking hot,” he says, hugging me tighter. “Go to sleep so I can fuck you again in the morning, husband .”
“I love you, Dominic.”
“I love you too, Mikah.”
