Everly

It only took a couple of weeks for my application to be reviewed by Cuffed. There were no decisions made, but they had acknowledged it and that meant I was a shoo-in.

Time for my planning to really take force.

In the meantime, I’d filed some paperwork with the county and the city, asking for copies of permits and zoning rights.

I wanted to be well armed when I took down Cuffed.

A friend who had some law experience helped me with some things but said a place like Cuffed was high-end for a reason.

Because they had all their ducks in a row.

But no one had everything perfect, and I couldn’t imagine a place that had sex acts of all kinds and those kinds of people would be on point with all regulations.

Yes, I was being judgy about the whole thing, but there was no being nice when they were encroaching on what was rightfully mine.

At the bottom of the email, I noticed a link and clicked on it. To my surprise, they’d played right into my hand. They had given me a one-time guest pass to visit Cuffed under the guise of seeing if their club was a fit for me before they progressed with my application.

They could forget the application. I intended to use the guest pass to get the information I needed and would not have to visit that lewd place again.

I entered my phone number and password and received a QR code to show at the front desk. This was my chance. They’d invited a wolf into their midst and didn’t even know it.

Now, I had shopping to do.

A few hours later, I arrived back home with what I thought was club attire.

I’d seen the alpha come out the other night in a black suit, so I bought something similar but without the jacket.

A simple black button-down with matching pants and shoes.

I should fit in. It was strange to me that someone would wear a suit to a sex club, kind of seemed against the purpose, but I had to fit in.

Also, there was a chance I was dressing for that alpha in particular.

I’d only seen him twice, and both times, I’d not been on my best behavior, so I wanted to make an impression.

I would bet anything this wasn’t just a guest pass to see if I liked the club.

Going in was a chance for them to scout me out as well.

The moment I scanned the QR code, they would know I was there.

I hoped it alerted him personally. Despite making a complete ass of myself in front of him before, for some reason, my wolf wanted to see him again.

Too bad, he was a part of an organization that was my sworn enemy.

Showered and dressed, I tucked my phone into my pocket and drove to the club.

They had valet service and the young man took my car with a smile on his face.

I would have to remember to tip him. I had to admit, so far, this place wasn’t so bad.

The music wasn’t as loud as I imagined it in my head. They must’ve had soundproof walls.

I stood on the curb, in front of the entrance when it hit me.

Of course they had soundproof walls and a soundproof building.

It was a sex club. My stomach vibrated with anticipation.

I’d never been in a sex club and never saw myself going to one.

Was there a chance I might like something in there?

That I would fuck someone in a club? Was that even what they did in here?

One way to find out.

I marched up to the entrance and showed the bouncers my QR code. They looked me up and down. “Stop at the reception desk and check in. Enjoy your night.”

Inside, I found Julia at the reception desk again and, from the way her eyes widened, she remembered who I was. “Good evening. You have a QR code?”

“I do. Here it is.”

She scanned the code and watched the screen for something. “Everly Goodman?”

I nodded.

“Excellent. Let’s check your phone and get you a bracelet.”

“Check my phone?”

She didn’t roll her eyes, but I got the feeling she wanted to. “Yes. We do not allow personal devices inside the club. No pictures or videos of any kind. There are dungeon monitors all over if you have any concerns. They are dressed all in black and have name tags.”

“But I need my phone. I have several clients and family members who might have to get in touch with me.” Lies. It was all lies. My family didn’t call me. I called them.

Julie nodded. “I completely understand, but we have a strict policy, Mr. Goodman. Not only does it protect the company and the owners but also those inside. We are a place of safety and acceptance for people in all walks of life. We don’t expose anyone to risks of any kind, and that includes social media videos or pictures.

Our members are protected at all costs.”

“You think I’m going to go in there and record sex acts or something?”

The broad-shouldered man at the door stepped forward, but she waved him off. “Reggie, I’m okay. Mr. Goodman understands what he needs to do if he expects to use the guest pass tonight.”

Reggie nodded and stepped back, only after giving me some major stink eye.

“This is certainly not the way guests are treated where I’m from.” I tried a different angle.

“I understand your hang-ups, but we will lock it in a box that corresponds to the bracelet on your arm. No one will have any access to your phone until you come back to claim it.”

“That’s not the issue.”

A man stepped through the door Reggie was guarding. “Is there a problem here?”
