Her words immediately halt at the demand of Jesse’s knife to her throat. I wrap an arm around her waist, jerking her against me.

Brody meets my gaze over her shoulder and smiles. He’s pleased, and I live for his pleasure.

“Go on. What were you saying?” I ask in her ear.

She tries to pull away, but I dig the tip of the knife into her skin. A warmth slides down my body at the scent of her blood trickling down her throat. None of the men make a move to stop me.

The woman remains frozen in my arms. “I … I don’t remember.”

“Let’s see if I can help remind you. You were saying something about his big …”

She doesn’t say anything. I didn’t think she would.

“It is really big, isn’t it?” I dig the knife in a little deeper, and she whimpers. “Do you think either of us will give your dead body a thought when I’m choking on that big fucking cock tonight?”

“You’re not going to kill me,” she whispers, but I can tell she’s not sure.

“Do you think any of these men would stop me?”

Brody comes to my side and grabs my neck while I still hold the knife to hers. He turns my face, leans down, and sticks his tongue right down my throat, making me moan loudly.

When he pulls back several minutes later, I realize I still have the woman held hostage. I remove the knife from her neck and walk around her so that we’re facing each other. Brody stands behind me, resting his chin on my head.

“Go back to your friends and tell them Brody and his big cock belong to me tonight, and every other fucking night from here on out. If they don’t agree, they’re free to come fight me for him.”

She stares at me in disbelief until I run the blade over my tongue, licking her blood from it. This has her scurrying back to her group of friends.

Elijah laughs loudly. “Is it really that big? I didn’t know Brody’s dick had a fan club. Come on, I got to know. How big is it?” he asks.

The other men all shake their head.

“No one wants to know how big Brody’s dick is,” Jackson says.

Brody doesn’t pay his friends any attention, because his big cock is currently stabbing me in the back. He’s fucking turned on. That makes two of us.

Jesse walks by, heading to her husband. I toss her knife back to her, and she catches it in one hand.

“I have to be in you right now,” Brody whispers in my ear, walking us toward the warehouse. The group of women watch with jealousy plastered on their faces as we disappear inside.

He leads us into a bathroom and roughly pulls my jeans down to the middle of my thighs, then he pushes me over the sink. He falls to his knees and shoves his face between my legs, his tongue jabbing into me.

“Fuck, that was hot,” he praises when he comes up for air.

“Well, you did break a guy’s nose for touching me. I figured you’d be okay with it.”

His deep laugh vibrates against me, and I drop my head. “Fuck.”

When he’s satisfied I’m wet enough to take him, he stands behind me and plunges his big cock inside of me. He grabs my hair in his fist, bringing his face next to mine. Our gaze locks in the reflection of the mirror.

“No condom?” I ask.

“I want you to come all over me. Mark me with your scent,” he coaxes as his hand slides between the sink and me.

A few flicks later, I’m coming undone in his arms.

He places one hand over my mouth and then latches onto my neck with his teeth, biting down hard. I scream from the pain as I come. His cock continues to claim me, over and over again until we’re both leaning over the sink, breathing hard.

“Fuck, we’re going to kill each other,” he jokes.

“I’ll gladly die with your cock inside me,” I tell him, and he laughs.

He gives my ass one final smack before he helps me clean up. “You were on that bitch faster than a New York minute.”

“Yeah, well, I overheard them talking about you.”

He places his forehead to mine. “I’m sorry.”

“You don’t have anything to be sorry about.”

“I can’t claim I was an angel before I met you, but I promise I’ve never had a serious relationship with any of the women here.”

“I believe you, Brody. It’s okay.”

He brushes his thumb over my cheek. “Jesse must really like you. She let you touch her knife.”

I laugh lightly. “Is that an honor?”

“Straight up.”

I sigh and lean my face against his chest. “It’s strange. I feel more at home here with you than I’ve ever felt anywhere else in the world.”

“It’s because this is where you belong.”

He turns me around and begins to braid my hair. “What are you doing?”

“I want every motherfucker out there to see that you’re mine.”

I glance in the mirror, spotting the bite mark on my neck. “Brody!” My fingers dance over the bruise that’s forming. I can still feel the indents from his teeth.

He laughs as he digs in the cabinet drawer for a hair tie. When he’s done, he tugs my head back by the braid and kisses me on the tip of my nose. “Ready to go back out?”

“Yeah.”

As we’re stepping outside, I stop him. “Would you have let me kill her?”

He grabs my chin and forces me to look at him. “I would kill or die for you, Daisy.”

“That didn’t answer my question.”

“I would never let you do something that would jeopardize your safety, but if that knife would have slipped, I would have gladly dug the hole for you.”

“My dark angel.” I rub my hand over his chest, and he chuckles.

When we get outside, he lets go of my hand and jumps up on a picnic table. I glance around nervously. What the hell is happening now?! He whistles loudly and someone cuts the music. Jackson tosses him a black leather vest.

“Since there seems to be a lot of club gossip going around,” he narrows his eyes at the group of scantily dressed women, “I’m going to put it to rest right now.” Brody’s gaze roams over everyone else before he jumps back down beside me.

He holds the vest in front of my face, showing me the back. It reads Property of Brody . My hand goes to my chest, knowing this must be a great honor in his world.

Everyone is quiet.

“What do you say?”

I nod like an idiot, wondering how the hell I’m going to explain all of this to my parents. But I don’t care about any of that right now, because I’m officially Brody’s old lady.

He helps me into it before kissing me.

The club erupts into a chorus of cheers, but then he whistles again, silencing everyone. Brody reaches into the pocket of his cut, and pulls out a box. When he drops to one knee, I almost pass out.

Oh my god.

“I’ll never love anyone more than you. I want you to be my old lady on the road, my friend during the day, and my lover every night. I want you to be my wife. Will you marry me, Daisy?”

Someone lets out a little sob nearby.

I fall to my knees and take his scruffy face in my hands. “Yes, I want all of that and more.”

He wipes my tears from my eyes before kissing me. When he pulls away, he places the most beautiful ring I’ve ever seen on my hand.

The club is truly in an uproar now. They’re banging on the tables and yelling out congratulations. The other old ladies rally around me, all wanting a glimpse of the ring.

Lexie hugs me tight. “Oh my god. I’m so happy for you.”

“I thought you and Ash would be gone by now,” I say, hugging her tight.

“Brody let his friends in on his plan for tonight. I wouldn’t have missed it for the world.” She pulls Elizabeth to her side. “Look at her ring, isn’t it beautiful?” she asks her.

Elizabeth takes my hand in hers. “It’s very pretty. Congratulations, Daisy. Brody is really a good man. You couldn’t have picked better.”

I wrap my fingers around hers and pull her to the side, away from all the noise. “I wanted to thank you.”

She pulls her head back, confused.

“For being at the beach that day. Brody said you were the reason he was there, and when you gave me the necklace you found, that’s when he noticed me. It’s all because of you.”

Her hand rubs over her chest. “Oh, I can’t take credit.”

My gaze rests on Brody. “You told me that day that an angel was nearby. You were right … it was Brody. He’s my angel.”

Tears pool in the bottom of her eyes.

“Why don’t you and your husband come over for supper tomorrow? I’d love to get to know you better. Brody talks so highly of you both.”

She nods, tears rolling down her cheeks.

“Good.” I give her a hug and she relaxes, hugging me back.

It feels good. For the first time in my entire life, I feel like I’m right where I’m supposed to be.
