Page 75 of Shifting Fate
“Just fuck me already!” My growl was replaced with a long moan as Dallon seated himself inside me with two slow thrusts. He wasn’t as big as some of the humans I’d been with, but shit. It feltamazing.
He got up on his knees and began to move his hips, and good god in heaven… My head dropped back against the mattress as he filled me so completely, stretching me in the best way possible.
Then, all of a sudden, it wasn’t enough. I bucked against him, clawing at his back. “More! Please, fuck—ah!” He grabbed my legs and bent me in half, shoving me back onto the bed. He drilled into me hard and fast, until all I could do was thrash beneath him. I dug my claws into his back, holding him close. With another growl, he attacked my mouth like a feral beast.
Dallon fucked me with so much passion, so much emotion, that I felt the threads around my heart begin to unravel. I lay there, panting and pleading and crying for more—more of him, more of us, justmore—and he gave me exactly what I needed.
All of him. Every last molecule.
I’d fought this for so long, and why? Because I was afraid?
I wasn’t afraid anymore.
As my hips snapped rigid and I came, completely untouched, I did the only thing that felt right—I bit him. My fangs sank into his neck and he gasped, then jerked inside of me. I felt the little bloom of heat at my core as he came, followed by the tight swell of his knot.
Growling softly, he grabbed a handful of my hair and yanked my head to the side. Pain came a moment later as he claimed me, marked me, owned me. Still lodged firmly inside of me, our bodies locked together as one, he sank down on top of me.
I stroked his hair with one hand, my eyelids suddenly heavy as peace washed over me. The heat that held me hostage relinquished its grip, replaced by a slow smile.
“I love you,” I mumbled, thoroughly sated and floating off into the stratosphere. He held me close and I could’ve sworn he spoke those words back. I fell asleep cradled in my mate’s arms, content to be his.
Forevermore.
