Chapter Twenty-Three
Frowning, I listen as the call disconnects. “It was a wrong number. How does that even happen in a hospital?”
Yawning like a lion, Truck stretches. “Who knows. But I guess we should get up and get going.”
He’s right, but I’m already chilled from being away from him.
Until his husky whispered, “Come here,” wraps around me.
“You think you can just boss me around?”
“Yeah.” He reaches out and snags me, reminding me how long his arms are.
It was a mistake I made before, the day we met, but this time, I’m glad he can catch me before I get too far away.
As he straightens my clothes, he kisses my neck.
God, I love when he does that.
“I’m dying to get you alone.”
“Hopefully, soon.”
When he brings my hand to the length of his erection, my eyes widen.
“How can you walk with that?”
“It’s not easy, but somebody’s gotta do it.”
Silly.
I grin, but my blood is whirring. “Can I take care of this for you?”
His head falls back, and he makes an impossibly rough sound. “With your mouth?”
“Yes.” But I quickly add, “There’s no way I can fit all of you, that’s just too much, I don’t even know how I’ll take you inside of my?—”
“Fuck, woman. Talking about that...you’re killing me.” He drags me to him, his warm, calloused hand around the back of my neck. “You’ll take me in your pussy, and your sweet little ass with no problem. We’ll start real slow and I’ll teach you how to relax on me.”
Oh, god.
I will?
He will?
I might be panting and moaning at the same time. Leaning in, he brushes his mouth against the corner of my lips. “Trust me, Ally. I know you’ll take me.”
His confidence does something insane to me.
When he kisses me this time, it’s hungrier, deeper, hotter, more focused than ever before.
I’m washed over, swept away. Completely on fire for a man I hardly know.
His voice is gravel, his eyes dark blue lava when he looks at me.
“Put your mouth on me.”
In a dazed stupor, I blink at him. Insecurity bubbling up between the steam clouding my mind.
