Page 37 of Second Sets Omnibus
My hips slam into hers hard and fast, just like I promised. There’s no mercy here, especially with this burning need scalding down my spine and tightening my balls. With every thrust I give, it forces her forward, spearing Rad’s cock down her throat. Rad’s eyes roll into the back of his head when he grabs ahold of her hair and fucks her face with all his might. His hips pound against her gagging face, and saliva falls to the ground, pooling on the floor.
White bright stars take over my vision, and my mouth hangs open, frozen in place when I spill into the condom. My hips continue to rock against hers, savoring the feel of her wrapped around me until Rad groans. He throws his head back, stilling with his dick shoved deep in her mouth. No doubt, spilling himself down her beautiful throat, and she takes every bit of it.
He swallows hard, looking deep into my eyes. And I know the moment his mind goes to “We’re super fucked if we have to leave her behind” because it glazes over his eyes, and his jaw sets. Our plan is solid. We've lured her in. Almost too well. And we've become the suckers.
I shake my head. We’re not leaving her behind. She's always on my damn mind like an obsession I can't escape. Soon I'll be waiting outside her apartment with binoculars, making sure no one fucks with her, watching her undress from afar, and jacking my shit in the trees.
Rad licks his lips, gently pulling his length from her mouth. He swipes his thumb along her bottom lip, leaning down to kiss her plump lips gently.
“You’ve given me a little taste, and now I want the whole menu,” he whispers against her lips as I reluctantly pull out of her pussy. Removing the condom, I throw it into the trash.
“Maybe,” comes her breathy reply when her body gives out and she curls up on the ground. “But later,” she snarks, waving a tired hand in the air. Her eyes close, and she sighs.
He grins, searches the room for his clothes, and gets dressed.
“I only have like two bras, give that back,” she says, pointing a finger to the bra dangling from Rad’s pocket.
His brows furrow. “Fuck no, Pretty Girl. These souvenirs are for me now.” He snorts, shoving them further into his pocket, and bats away her hand.
She frowns, rolling her eyes, snatching the bra from his pocket. Crossing her arms over her bare chest, she shakes her head at him when he yelps, attempting to tackle her. With a laugh, I put a hand on his chest, shaking my head with a grin.
“Just this once,” he says with a lazy grin. “Next time, don’t wear one; then, I can feel your pretty titties whenever I want.” He hums at the thought and nods like that’s the best solution.
“Pretty titties?” she mutters to herself, getting to her wobbly feet, and stumbling a bit. She groans, leaning against the wall.
"River Blue," I murmur, coming to her side.
"Give me just a minute. I, uh, have to go to the bathroom," River says with a huff, marching out the door as quickly as she can like her ass is on fire.
A door slams next to us, shaking the walls. Rad wrinkles his nose, staring at the door with big, puppy dog eyes.
"You, uh… think she's okay?" he asks in a low voice, fiddling with the bottom of his shirt. "I didn't push her too far, did I? Man…" Shaking his head, he runs his trembling fingers through his hair. "I never want to push a girl too far. After that one chick—" He swallows thickly with a solemn expression lining his face.
"River asked you to, dude. And she didn't take it back. I think…" I stare off in the opposite direction of the bathroom, right next to us. "She'll tell us." With a firm nod, I putter around the back office and collect my clothes. Reluctantly, I pull my shirt over my head, find my boxers and jeans, and put them on.
Once fully dressed, I take a deep breath and reflect on what just happened. As it went down, it didn't fully sink in that I hadher again. My obsession begs me to grab her up right now, take her home, lock her in my room for days, and not resurface until next Saturday. I run a hand down my face, sighing.
"I bet they're getting antsy. Let's say goodbye to our girl, and yeah—our girl—and head out. Because knowing Ash, he'll leave us here." Grinning, Rad slaps me on the shoulder, shoving me toward the door.
Rad cackles, throwing his head back. "I can't wait to see the look on Asher's face when we…"
"God, River!" A guttural moan roars through the walls.
"What in the fuck?" I growl, marching through the door, and rip open the bathroom door. My heart beats triple time, and my lips pop open at the sight before me.
"Holy shit," Rad laughs. "No way."
Leaningmy head against the puke-green stall, I take a deep breath and center myself. Music plays through my earbuds, drowning out the world as I finish my business in the isolation of the bar bathroom.
After drinking a few beers and enjoying the live show, it hit me when we stepped outside to take care of Bradley—the biggest douchebag in town. In high school, he was the absolute worst person, bullying everyone in sight—including me. I was the quiet kid who barely spoke and relied on my friends too much. To him, I was an easy target. How he treated River after crashing into her was more than despicable. No one deserves that amount of hate, no matter what side of town they’re on. My fists clench at the memory of his hate-filled eyes looking up and down her body like a meal. No matter what words he used to describe her, in that drunken moment, there was only one thing he wanted to do with her. I should have clocked him in the jaw when I had the chance and filled my memory with something worthwhile to look back on.
I shudder, remembering River's exact face when he crashed into her and uttered those terrible words. Her lips turned down, and her breathing picked up. All the color drained from her face, and her eyes dilated. She claimed she didn’t need our help and could have taken care of it herself, but her expression said it all. River was terrified of Bradley. But why? Sure, he was scary at that moment, snarling in her face and calling her names. But why did River’s face fall into oblivion, and her lips tremble before him? The others may not have noticed, but I caught every down-turned lip and every quiver of fear.
The entire night, I watched her out of the corner of my eye, checking her movements like a stalker. No one else noticed my newest fascination festering under my skin. I don’t know what it is about River that pulls me in and won’t let me go. I’m a transfixed moth flying straight into the roaring flame, praying I don’t get burned. We all are. There’s something addicting about her that reels us in and begs us to stay.
I mutter a curse under my breath when my music unexpectedly cuts out, leaving only the ringing in my ears to accompany me. The silence stretches out around me, drowning me in the nothingness I can’t seem to outrun.
Flushing the toilet, I frown when I yank my earbuds out with a huff. Checking my phone, I note the battery percentage sits at 0%. Thinking back, I forgot to put them on the charger last night when I crawled into my cold bed. Shoving my earbuds into my pocket in defeat, I shake my head at my incompetence. I need the noise to filter out the world. So, I don’t fucking remember. I never want to fucking remember.
