“You’re really asking for it,” Blaze growls, grabbing her other arm. Pandora gasps and pretends to try to get away from him.
The play-acting pisses meoff.
Is this how she was with him at the greenhouse? Or that time I saw them go into the tunnels together?
I still don’t know what happened in either place, but I have a feeling it wasn’t good.
Or, hell, maybe it was. Knowing Pandora, she got exactly what she wanted. If she really wanted to hurt them, she would.
“Just let her go,” I say, disgusted.
Blaze meets my eyes and smirks. “Well, you caught her. That means you can finally touch… but I do get first dibs. If you’re a good boy, maybe I’ll let you join.”
I’m breathing hard, and I don’t think it’s from all the running.
“Have her, then,” I say, glaring at Pandora. “Since she was stupid enough to come out here and get caught.”
Which begs the question of how she knew to come out here to begin with, but that’s a story for later. Iwillfind out, and I will fuck her up for it.
Not that it matters. She’s not going to learn her lesson from this.
“You still mad about the snake?” Pandora asks Blaze, and I see his eyes narrow.
She’s goading him, playing him like a fucking fiddle, and he doesn’t realize it.
Blaze pushes Pandora to the ground, into the soft dirt. She tries to roll away, but Blaze’s grasp on her arm is firm, and he gets his leg over her thighs so he’s straddling her.
“You really are asking for it,” Blaze mutters, leaning down so his lips are bare inches away from hers.
Pandora snaps her teeth at him. “Careful. You might be asking for me to bite you, too.”
I almost want to warn him that she’s always armed in some way, but it would serve him right if she stabbed him.
Then again, that would ruin her entire investigation.
I don’t think she’ll actually do it. I think she’s enjoying this farce entirely too much.
Pandora’s eyes flicker over to me. “If you’re not going to help me, then get out of here. I don’t need you watching.”
“You’d love it if I watched,” I retort. “But I don’t plan onwatching.” My heart is racing, and I’m torn between wanting to strangle him and helping him hold her down. “Does this count even though she isn’t a Nyxie?” I ask Blaze.
Blaze grins. “Sure. She came out here.” Blaze pushes Pandora’s hoodie open to reveal her smooth stomach. He drags his nails down that unblemished skin, and Pandora gasps sharply. “Nobody can hear you out here, Pandora.”
Pandora makes a strange noise, halfway between a gasp and a laugh. “Except River.”
“Maybe I want to hear you scream,” I counter. “Or maybe I want to stifle that sound with my cock in your mouth while he fucks you.”
I shouldn’t be okay with Blaze touching her. The very idea makes something in me go berserk. But at the same time…
Watching Pandora struggle underneath us? Hearing her cry out and moan and beg? I won’t be soft and gentle with her.
I’ve given her more than enough of that. She’s been using me, making fun of me, ever since the semester started.
She’s the reason I got paddled.
She’s the reason I had to spill my secrets to a room full of men.
She’s the reason I’m here, in the woods at all, and now she’s potentially sabotaged me too.
