Rio shoved the blankets back, pulling himself free from my grasp for a moment. Instantly I felt the loss of his heat, but he didn’t run away. Instead he tugged my pajama bottoms down, freeing my cock from the fabric and making me shiver at the come cooling around me, even as my dick throbbed in need for him again.

“Rio?”

He bent and took me in his mouth. Heat engulfing the length of me, almost too hot, suction instantly making me breathless. There was no stopping it. And I would look back later with a bit of embarrassment at how fast I came again, pouring myself into his mouth. He swallowed every drop of my spend even as I gasped and writhed beneath him, begging him for more in unintelligible words. I felt boneless, nerves awake, alive, and as limp as overcooked spaghetti. He pulled my pajamas back up, then reached up to caress my face again.

“You?” I gasped out, wanting to return the favor, but not sure I could get my body to move yet.

“Another time,” he said, his gaze intense.

I blinked at him, brain stuttering with my body’s slow return to normal. My heart began to come down, and my shoulder oddly throbbed. Had he bitten me? It didn’t feel like it. Not exactly, but the thought of him biting me would have made me hard again if I’d been able. Instead I stared at him, half in awe, and half just stunned. The fact that he didn’t jump right out of bed to get on with the day gave me hope. Would he stay? Was he interested in me? Or was I just convenient?

In reality, I barely knew him. It was unfair to feel so drawn to him and not know. Was I throwing myself at him? I sort of did that a lot in my life.

He breathed out a long breath and frowned. “Suddenly so serious.”

“Sorry. I’m just overthinking. Bad habit.” My alarm went off again, set on a cycle to keep me from falling back to sleep. I had to get moving. I struggled to sit up, and Rio moved, helping me find a bit of balance even while I missed his warmth.

He traced his fingers over my neck, frown deepening. “Sorry. Didn’t mean to mark you.”

I reached up to feel the spot where my shoulder met my neck. I didn’t feel anything, no punctures or anything, though the skin was a bit tender. A hickey perhaps? I’d check when I got to the bathroom. “Not hurt, but I do need to get ready for the day.”

He stared at me a moment longer, close enough that I could reach out and pull him in for a kiss. So, I did. I expected him to pull away. He didn’t. Rio accepted my kiss and stayed in my space a bit longer, like he was reluctant for the moment to end too.

“Don’t let this get weird,” I told him. “I like you. That’s okay, yeah?”

“It’s not safe,” he said softly. “I shouldn’t have…” he glanced away.

I touched his face, forcing him to look back at me. “Consenting adult here.”

“I could have hurt you.” His gaze fell back to my shoulder.

“You didn’t break the skin. Not that I can tell.”

“No,” he agreed.

I shrugged. “I’m good then.”

His stomach growled again, sounding a bit like a monster clawing its way free from the darkness. I gaped at him.

“Guess I need to feed you, yeah?”

“I need to eat,” he agreed.

“Good. Food is my forte.”

Rio’s smile was enough to ease some of my tension and get me moving. I had a man to feed.
