Page 20 of Rattler’s Revelation (Demon Dawgs MC: Las Vegas #6)

My eyes flutter open as I awake in a cocoon of warmth.

I’m lying with my head on Randy’s shoulder and feel Rattler wrapped around me from behind.

Glancing up at Randy’s handsome face, I lightly run my finger through his beard.

It’s so soft, it’s like petting a kitten.

While he sleeps, I let my eyes roam over his luscious body.

I didn’t get a chance to fully appreciate it the night before.

The sex between the three of us had been spectacular.

When Randy suggested exploring a relationship between the three of us, I thought he was crazy.

I can admit now that the idea intrigued me, even though I didn’t see it happening.

Randy and Rattler were two of the most attractive men I’ve ever met.

The day of my abduction, when Randy came to my rescue, I felt a pull towards him.

He was strong and handsome in his police uniform.

But it was his eyes that steadied me. They were a warm brown as soothing as hot cocoa. I felt an immediate attraction to him.

When Rattler arrived on the scene, desperate to find me, I couldn’t believe it.

I had almost upended his life by accusing him of harassing me.

Instead of being angry that I had mistaken him for his cousin, Rattler went out of his way to make sure I was alright, not only at the casino, but after the accident.

He was protective and offered to go with me to my apartment.

He didn’t need to do any of those things.

He could have held a grudge, but he didn’t.

I told myself that I was attracted to both men because of the circumstances.

I’d been scared, and they both came to my rescue.

However, the more time I spent with both men, the more I realized there was more to it than fear and gratitude.

I couldn’t deny that I was attracted to both of them.

So, when Randy suggested the idea of the three of us developing a relationship, I was hesitant, but I was also interested.

I didn’t think he could make it happen, and I’ve never been happier to be proven wrong.

The man was masterful in bringing us together.

Rattler rolls to his back, allowing me to shift and study him.

He’s fair, where Randy is dark. His short, blonde hair stands out against his tanned skin.

I study his face while he sleeps, and I can’t figure out how I could have mistaken him for the asshole who harassed me.

When Wildcard called Rattler into Brigit’s office to confront him, I thought it was the man who called himself Max.

But it didn’t take me long to realize I was wrong.

It was Rattler’s eyes that made me realize he wasn’t the man I feared.

They were a bright green, whereas Walt had blue eyes.

However, even without seeing his eyes, I can tell the difference between the two men.

Rattler’s cheekbones are more pronounced, and he boasts laugh lines.

His lips are fuller and more sensual. Walt had lines etched between his eyebrows, and his lips were small and always dipped in a frown.

Rattler also boasts a much better body. I feel my arousal spike as I study his sculpted chest and fantastic abs.

I let my fingers hover over the indentations as I barely contain my desire to trace them with my tongue.

“Like what you see?” Rattler rasps, drawing my attention back to his face.

“I do. Very much,” I admit with a grin. “You are a very sexy man, Rattler.”

“And you’re the hottest woman I’ve ever seen,” Rattler says, brushing his finger along my jawline. We stare at each other for several long minutes until Randy shifts on the other side, drawing Rattler’s attention.

I study Rattler as he studies Randy. I can’t tell what he’s thinking, but I can tell his mind is working hard. Could he be regretting what we did last night?

“We should get going,” Rattler says, sliding out of bed. Before Randy and I can move, Rattler has grabbed his clothes and disappeared into the bathroom. The sound of him engaging the lock prompts Randy and me to exchange looks.

“That doesn’t bode well,” Randy says with a sigh.

“You think he regrets last night?”

“I think he’s considering it. We should give him some time alone. Let’s head back to your room so we can shower. I’ll wash your back,” Randy says, leaning over to nibble on my shoulder.

I grin at him as I hop out of bed and snag my clothes. I dress quickly, staring at the bathroom door, willing it to open and Rattler to invite us in.

When that doesn’t happen, I let Randy take my hand and lead me into the hallway, where we run smack into Jasmine.

“What were you doing in Rattler’s room?” she demands.

“Sleeping,” Randy says with a shrug.

“All three of you slept together?” Her voice is shrill.

“How is that any concern of yours?” Randy asks as he reaches inside to lock Rattler’s door before closing it shut.

“Why did you lock the door? I was going in there. Rattler called me to come take care of him.”

“Yeah, I doubt that,” Randy says as he leads me down the hall.

I wait until we’re in my bedroom before asking the question. “Do you think Rattler called her to come to his room?”

“I know he didn’t,” Randy says with confidence.

“How do you know?”

“Because his phone was on the dresser when we left. I saw it. Don’t let that bitch get to you. Rattler isn’t interested in her. She’s trying to cause problems. Now, how about I wash your back?”

I giggle as he chases me into the bathroom. When we finish, I’m disappointed to find my bedroom empty. I had hoped that Rattler would come looking for us.

“He needs time,” Randy assures me. “Don’t worry. Let’s head to the common room and get some breakfast, unless you want to go back to the diner?”

“We can eat here. Do you know what we’re doing today? Are you on patrol?”

Randy takes my hand as he points us in the direction of the common room. I hear voices, and the smell of bacon has my stomach rumbling.

“I’m assigned to Rafe’s team for now. He’s the one giving me orders.”

When we enter the common room, I spot Rafe sitting with Chill, Hunter, and Viper. Rafe waves Randy over. As we make our way to him, I search for Rattler. Disappointment rushes through me when I don’t find him. Is he avoiding us?

“What’s up?” Randy asks when we reach Rafe.

When Viper looks at me after studying our joined hands, I take a step back.

The anger in her eyes is enough to make me want to bolt for the door.

Her eyes shift to something over my shoulder, but before I can turn to look, Rattler’s arm wraps around my waist. He squeezes me to his side as he greets everyone at the table.

I relax when Viper’s expression shifts from anger to confusion.

“What are we doing today?” Rattler asks.

“I was just asking Rafe that question,” Randy says.

“I have three more missing women I need you to check up on. No one has seen them since their last night at 1%. I’ve called the building manager for each of their apartments to let them know you’re coming.

We’re seeing the same M.O. Each manager I spoke to says the women moved out and left a note.

I’ve asked them to check their security feed to see if we can confirm that Walt or his men packed up their belongings.

I’d like you to interview the managers and then get what you can from the neighbors. ”

“Yeah, we can do that. What about the storage unit?”

“We’ll call you if we hear anything on that end. So far, it’s been quiet. Stevie left a message. We’re waiting for someone to call back.”

“So, what are you guys working on?” Rattler asks Chill and his sister.

“We’re following up on the list Bianca gave us,” Chill says.

“I know you discovered Tommy was working there and helping Walt,” Rafe adds. “We’re headed to 1% to see if we can learn anything more about his activities.”

“We’ll head out once we’ve eaten,” Rattler says, directing us toward the buffet.

After we get our food, I sit between Rattler and Randy as we eat in silence.

Neither man speaks to the other, and as the silence grows, my stomach turns to knots.

I want to say something, but I’m at a loss for words.

With my food mostly uneaten, I lay down my fork and sit back in the chair so I can breathe deeply.

“You need to eat,” Randy says, tapping my plate with his fork.

“I can’t. My stomach hurts.”

Rattler studies me, then shares a glance with Randy. He takes a deep breath before leaning forward. “I know you’re worried. Don’t be. We’ll talk in the car. I don’t want to talk here. You need to eat, Bianca.”

He softens his expression when I stare at him with hope. “We’ll figure this out. Okay?”

I nod as I pick up my fork and take a bite of eggs while Randy and Rattler watch me.

When I feel their eyes shift away, I glance up, but I immediately wish I hadn’t.

Jasmine sits at a nearby table, her eyes boring through me.

I can almost feel the animosity. Ignoring her, I finish eating my breakfast, then wait for the guys to finish theirs.

“I’m going to use the restroom before we go,” I say. When I exit the stall a few minutes later, I find Jasmine waiting for me. I shouldn’t be surprised, but her presence startles me. Ignoring her, I make a beeline for the sink to wash my hands.

“How does it feel to be a slut?” Jasmine mocks me.

I frown at her question before turning slowly to study her cutoff shorts and her two-size-too-small t-shirt. “You tell me. Isn’t that your role here?”

Jasmine raises her hand to slap me, but I jerk out of her way and grab her arm to stop her. I pull her forward, causing her to stumble. She catches herself and swings back towards me as I open the door.

“I know you were fucking both Randy and Rattler. What do you think the others will say when I tell everyone Randy and Rattler were in bed together?”

“I imagine they’d say it is none of your fucking business,” Rattler says as he pushes the door open and takes my hand. “Not one more word out of you, Jasmine. I'm ready to go to Puma and tell him to kick your sorry ass to the curb. Come on, Bianca, Randy is waiting.”
