“You’re all mine,” he whispered against my flesh, and another shudder went through me.
“Yes,” I agreed.
“I can have you whenever I want.”
“God, yes,” I moaned. His tongue circled my clit, then he sucked it into his mouth and my body jerked in response.
“God, yes, what?”
“God, yes,Sir,” I growled, leveling him with my gaze. “It’s yours. Take it.”
He smirked, then stood quickly and ripped his zipper down, gripping my hip with his other hand as he freed his cock. He pressed the tip against my wet center.
I moaned as he filled me slowly, head tilting back onto the hood as he rocked into me and my body ached to take him deeper. “More, Cabot, please.”
He grunted and sank deeper, then tightened his hands on my hips and fucked me with harder strokes. He growled, his cock jerking inside of me, then he came with a roar that echoed off the surrounding buildings. I reached between us as he pumped into me, flicking my clit and meeting him at the edge, then I tumbled over with him and came with a loud cry, my earth shattering around me and stars bursting behind my eyes.
He curled over me, breathing heavily. He nipped at the skin of my breasts, trailed kisses down the valley between them, sucked and bit as he worshipped me in the afterglow.
“Mine,” I murmured lazily, dragging my nails over his shoulders and laying claim, marking him like he’d marked me over and over again.
“Yes,” he agreed, looking up at me. His eyes sparked with new life, even as spent as we both were after that deliciously quick fucking.
“What?” I asked, running my fingers through his hair.
“They set a court date.”
“Yeah?” My pulse raced at that news.
“They’re going after them all, baby, even the old man.”
I closed my eyes and let that sink in. Gage and Stella would pay for their part in trying to take Cabot down, but even more importantly, the Rombauers would be held accountable. The more Cabot’s lawyers dug, the more they discovered.
Roderick and his father had been working against the Reeds fordecades.
Their plan to get rid of Cabot and position Roderick at the helm of Reed Enterprises, then merge the two companies had been only the tip of the iceberg.
I smiled up at him, cupping his face.
They’d pay for hurting him.
And I’d spend the rest of my life proving to him that he could trust again—and making sure I was worthy of that gift.
Epilogue
Two Years Later
Rylan
Looking down at the vastness of Gram-gram’s backyard in Whitestone, and the dock that led out to the water of the East River, I scanned the guests as they settled into white folding chairs. A gorgeous white and gold arch had been erected at the entrance of the dock, draped with lush greenery and beautiful white flowers that filled the air with the scents of jasmine and orange blossom. I’d helped the florists arrange the display earlier this morning before being promptly sent upstairs to get ready by my fierce—and fiercely loving—Dominant, with a smack on the ass that promised of dangerously delicious things to come.
But first…
I gazed at my reflection in the window, running a hand over my protruding belly. At six months along, there was no hiding her anymore. Luxurious cream satin hung down to the floor, a simple slip dress with delicate spaghetti straps over each shoulder and a cowl of fabric that draped over my growing breasts. My hair hung down my back in long brown waves, and had never looked better, thanks to the prenatal vitamins the controlling love of my life reminded me to take every day. A crown of delicate flowers sat atop my head, scenting me with the same Springtime fragrances of the rest of the arrangements throughout the grounds. The whole ensemble made me look like I stepped out of a mid-seventies fashion magazine—which was fitting, seeing as we’d chosen Gram-gram’s house to hold the ceremony and festivities that immediately followed.
“You’re an absolute vision, Ms. Blake.”
I gasped and the baby kicked, as attune to Cabot’s voice as I was, then I smiled and pulled my lip between my teeth as I spun slowly around to look at him.
