Tully

Two Months Later

“Isn’t he improving?” Pan clicked out of the video with a satisfied grin. “Puck is a superstar in the making.”

“Careful, you sound like a proud daddy.”

I adjusted my low-cut dress and Pan’s tongue traced his lip in interest.

“You offering, angel?”

I turned away from him before my flush gave away how much that appealed to me.

Maybe one day we’d have a family, but right now I was in firm career mode.

The Hartlock Foundation was going from strength to strength, and Pan had stepped back to dedicate more time to the music charity he started in The Barracks.

After spending so much time there clubbing, he was now paving a respectable path. As much as that was possible for Pan.

I pressed my finger into the middle of Ajax’s book and pushed it down.

“I want you to bite me.”

Ajax closed his book and laid it carefully to the side.

“Right now?” A smile played on his lips.

“I don’t think that’s a good idea.” Walden loosened his tie and tossed it on the sand.

I lay back on the sun lounge and lengthened my neck, gratified by the gulp he made.

“What is the point of coming to your vacation house and hiring out the entire beach to celebrate without a little permanent soul binding, daddy?” Pan leaned down to bite my exposed shoulder.

I propped myself up on my elbows, making sure my ample cleavage was visible. The air was thick with salt and sunshine, much like the beta nestled in my side. Sun kissed the horizon, and we didn’t have much longer before it dipped low and took this perfect day with it.

“I think I’ve earned your mark, haven’t I?” I teased my alpha.

Walden tugged at his collar, torn between capitulation and argument.

Walden officially dropped out of the race for mayor yesterday and, to celebrate, had taken us away to the beach. He was still wearing a suit, but linen. You could take the man out of the office, but you could pry his pocket squares from his cold, dead hands.

“Do it for me, guys, because I would if I could.” Lloyd tucked a soft lock behind my ear.

I smothered a smile, the ache on my ribs a delicious secret. Pan turned his back, busying himself with serving the alcohol free, sparkling cider. He knew why my ribs hurt, and didn’t want to ruin the surprise. I still had a low pain threshold, and he’d felt when I added Lloyd to my body.

“I want each of you on me, including you, Lloyd.”

“Is that a euphemism for jizz because I’ll fuck a baby into you so quick if you let me, angel.” Pan winked.

“You breed me so well, pup.” I reached behind me to pull the zipper of my dress.

“What are you doing?” Walden raced forward and caught my silky pink dress as it pooled around my waist. I’d gone without a bra because of the thin, transparent bandage underneath my breast. I turned to my beta.

“Lloyd, from the moment we connected, you saw the real me. You were the tide that brought me back to safe harbor.”

I let him see what I marked on my skin.

A declaration, a promise.

Soul deep as a bite because Lloyd was always my calm in the storm of life.

He was what I wished for in the sky. Ever calm, reliable, and the sweetest relief for a throat as parched as mine had been when we met.

Never underestimate the devotion of dependability.

Quieter than the raw passion of Pan, the intense caretaking of Walden, and the powerful warmth of Ajax.

I was the heart of this pack, and Lloyd was the bones. We all fell apart without him.

“Tully,” Lloyd whispered. “A shooting star?”

I nodded, and the gentle lap of the ocean thrummed around us.

“It’s the same as yours. To you, it’s a symbol of your strength, your survival, and a reminder to always reach for your dreams. You’re my star, Lloyd. I’m only bright today because you pulled me out of the darkness.”

Lloyd curled his hand around the back of my neck and pulled my lips to his.

We tumbled into the sun lounge and Lloyd melted against me, crushing my breasts to his chest. There was no space between us, despite the lack of a bond.

The tattoo throbbed with a sweet pain, the kind that heightened my senses.

All of them filled with Lloyd.

“My honey girl. Whoever knew life could get so sweet?” He moaned as he rocked against my core with his hardening cock.

“I love you, Lloyd.” I chased my words across his skin.

“This was the sweetest, but we need to go. There is a helicopter heading this way. I’d rather not let the paparazzi see my mate’s breasts.” Walden’s hand landed on my back.

“You can say tits, daddy, I promise the word doesn’t bite.” Pan snatched up his shirt.

“But I do, and I know exactly where I want my mark, so let’s go.” Ajax winked at me.

Lloyd extricated himself with a sigh and helped me with my dress.

“To be continued,” I whispered to him, lips swollen and heart full.

Ajax draped his jacket over my shoulder, but I shrugged it off, brushing my fingers against his as I passed it back.

“I’m too hot.”

“No lies were told.” Ajax winked.

The sand was gritty between my toes.

“In case you were worried, I bought ample desserts to prepare for tonight.”

“Yes, but did you bring pie?” I nudged my shoulder against him.

Ajax let out a low chuckle. “Don’t worry, treasure, I’ve got four different types.”

“How do you know which one is my favorite?” There was a warm glow in my stomach, like spilled sunlight. I stole it from the setting orb on the horizon and kept it like a lamp.

“Walden’s spreadsheet, of course,” Lloyd added, as he helped me up a large step.

His blond hair was deliciously disheveled. I wanted to undress him again. To have his lithe, tanned skin on mine. All night. Fuck the pie. I needed something only my pack could provide.

What was going on with me?

“Get naked, angel,” Pan hollered as he swept into the Baylark vacation house.

It was right on the beach, with ceiling-to-floor windows and an open plan front room. I walked toward the glass and pulled my dress down with a slow movement. Outside, the helicopter hovered over the ocean. Maybe they had lenses that could zoom in and were watching me right now.

I turned and met Ajax’s gaze as I ran my finger between my breasts. He let out a soft puff of appreciation and came closer.

“Front-row seat.”

“Will you give me what I need?” I pouted.

Walden muttered under his breath, huffing and puffing about roses and candlelit dinners.

Ajax tossed him an amused look and stalked toward me. His arm wound around my waist, and he hauled me against his bare chest.

“Walden wants everything to be perfect for you. But me? You offer me a place here and…” Ajax’s hand slid over my chest to my heart. “I will ruin you with orgasms and foodgasms for the rest of your life.”

Affection rolled down my spine. Ajax was a soft warmth, designed to seduce. He loved the way he wished he was loved. I took his hands in mine and interlaced our fingers. His breath shivered against my cheek. I squeezed. Once. Twice. Three times.

“You know what I love about you?”

“What?”

“You love with your whole heart. I’ve met your parents, and you could have let them make you bitter. Instead, you’re bold, warm, and generous with everyone in your life. You love reverently, and it’s a privilege to know your heart, Ajax.” I whispered, “will you mark me?”

“Hold our omega, would you, Walden?” Ajax replied.

Walden’s hot breath hit the back of my neck, but he did as he was asked. Those large hands held me safe, not for the first time, and not the last. I melted against his back and gave myself up to Ajax.

“My treasure.” He kissed the swell of my right breast and bit.

I’d been unconscious when Pan bonded with me.

This time, the pain hit me in the back of my teeth.

Like when you bite into something sweet and it goes straight into your veins.

I squeezed my eyes shut with a hiss as he unfurled.

Ajax was velvet, so warm and soft. He rolled through me like early mornings tangled in the covers. Languid, warm, and safe.

“Gods, Ajax, can you feel it?”

His thread entwined with Pan, and we throbbed together, like a revelation. Ajax tended his mark the same way he did everything, methodically nurturing. The pain faded with each lap of his tongue.

“I can finally feel you.” Ajax’s gaze glistened as he lifted his head. “You shine like gold…” he trailed off.

I nodded, a knot in my throat, overwhelmed. I couldn’t speak with the space he took up inside me, and how right it felt. We kissed, and it was a blood promise. Ajax’s tongue commanded my pleasure, and I gave it. Let him take what solace he needed from my body. Inside me, all over me.

“I need you both.” I pulled away with a moan.

Ajax was lust drenched, with glazed eyes, plump lips, and messy hair. He spun me around and ground his hard cock against my ass.

“She’s so fucking sweet, Walden.”

I caught my bottom lip between my teeth, and Walden pulled it out with his thumb. He let the digit rest heavily on my lip. My heart crashed against my chest. Walden had that effect on me. He commanded whatever room he walked into, and I’d put him on a pedestal for it.

“I had a plan for this, you know. I was going to fill a room with pink flowers. Have dinner catered with all your favorite foods. I would have bitten you on the roof, under the stars, and afterward have fireworks ready to go off. It would have been amazing.”

I clamped my teeth down on his thumb as a soft giggle sounded in my throat. I was half untethered by Ajax and impatient for my alpha.

“That does sound good. Maybe we should wait,” I sighed.

Walden’s eyes widened, and he cupped my face, shaking his head.

“No, I—”

“I’m just kidding, Walden. I’m a simple girl. Give me your mark, dessert, cock, and I’ll be a satisfied omega.” I put a little purr into my voice.

“I’m ready for you, Tully,” Lloyd called from the couch. “I’ll feed and fuck you at the same time.”
