“I think Riley’s been drugged.Can you guys open the gate?We should be there in about two or three minutes.”

“Copy,” Bear said and then swore before disconnecting the call.

Nails slid the phone back into his pocket.He looked down at Riley.“Hold on, sweetheart,” he said before he scooped her up bridal-style.

Riley squealed and immediately threw her arms around his neck.She then attacked his neck, kissing and sucking on it.

“Mmm, you taste good.Do you taste like this everywhere?I want to find out—”

“Jesus,” he hissed, biting back a groan as she nipped a sensitive spot just below his ear.Her lips felt soft and hot, and it was driving him fucking insane.He willed his mind and body not to give in to the sexy seductress.He practically sprinted the whole way back to the apartment.

When they reached the perimeter of the warehouse, Bear was there holding the gate open.Duke and Jay Bird stood just behind him.All three looked concerned.

“What the fuck happened?”Bear asked as he stared at Riley, who was currently sucking his neck and probably leaving the biggest fucking hickey known to mankind.

“I don’t know exactly.From what I could get from her, she only had water from her water bottle.”He then explained how it all played out.

Duke moved in, his medic instincts kicking in.“Let’s get her inside.The last thing we need is to draw attention to ourselves out here.”

When they walked into the apartment, the rest of the team was all there, looking concerned.

Joker stood up from the couch, looked at Riley, and then at Nails.“What’s wrong with her?”

“My guess is that someone roofied her water.She and I were walking back when it hit her.She can barely stand, she keeps trying to take her clothes off because she says that she is hot, and she keeps saying some crazy shit that is seriously testing my patience.”

“Let’s set her down on the couch,” Duke suggested.

Nails walked over to the couch and tried to set her down, but she refused to let go of him.

“Riley, come on.Let Duke take a look at you.”

She looked at him and stuck her bottom lip out in the cutest fucking pout that Nails had ever seen.

“But I want you to look at me,” she said and then tried to crawl into Nails’ lap like a drunken cat in heat.

Nails groaned and looked at others, as if pleading for them to help him out.

“Riley,” Duke said, getting her to look at him.He shone a small light in her eyes.“Do you know your name?”

“Of course, it’s Ride-me-Riley.”She looked at Nails and pointed at him.“That’s what he’s gonna call me later.”

The room erupted in nervous laughter, and Nails wanted to punch each one of them.

“She’s been saying shit like that since the drug took effect.Not to mention, touching me and kissing me.It’s taking every ounce of control not to—”

“Let her saddle you up?”Playboy offered, grinning.

“Bet you never thought you’d have to fight off a woman,” Bear added with a laugh.

Nails glared at them.“It’s not funny.What would have happened if I weren’t working tonight and she had been alone on the streets when that drug kicked in?”

That comment sobered everyone up.

Riley then looked up at Nails and scrunched her nose up.“I think… I think… I got drunked… drugged.”She furrowed her eyebrows as she was trying to look serious.“By the water.”

As soon as she finished her sentence, her head dropped like a weight against Nails’ chest.

“Riley?”Nails said her name and gave her body a little shake, but she was out cold.
