“Trust me on this one, boss. He's going to deliver. If he doesn't, he can be the sacrificial lamb.” He smiled maniacally.
“I don't want to dwell on ifs. I'll do my best to keep Niccolo occupied. But you have to do your best to ensure everything is secured. Can I trust you with this?”
“All day, every day,” he replied confidently.
“Eccellente! Now get out of my room. I hear footsteps approaching.”
“Your wish, boss,” he said, but before he turned, he took one last peek.
“Dragon!”
“I’m leaving, boss!” He swiftly turned around and disappeared out of sight.
“Mio re.” A woman sashayed into his room with bagged-up clothes in her hand.
“You're late,” he scolded.
She didn't respond immediately. Her eyes had other plans as they swept the lengths of his body and came to rest in its middle part. Biting her lip, she allowed perverse thoughts to run through her mind, massaging his horse leg with her eyes.
“Do you think I have all night? Give me the damned clothes, Valeria!” He hissed, walking over to her.
With every step he took, his dick swung from side to side. She wanted nothing more than to reach out to it and show it a good time.
“The clothes?” He stretched out his hand as he stood in front of her.
“Or we could take out thirty minutes and take care of ourselves?” She suggested in a husky voice as she raised her head.
“I'll pass,” he said to the Don's granddaughter. They were cousins in a way, but she never stopped trying to fuck him.
It would have been flattering if he didn't know she fucked whatever was ready. He couldn't shame her for it, though. It was the only life they knew.
“You know, one of these days, you'd stop rejecting me.” She bit her lip and touched his chest.
“Maybe. Not today, though.” He snatched the bag out of her hands and turned around.
He gritted his teeth when he felt a smack on his bum as he walked away.
“No wonder the girls are all crazy about you.” She giggled.
“Get out of my room, Valeria!”
“Fine, boss. But I saw what yournuova mogliedid to your clothes on my way here.Chiquitaneeds to be kept in check before people start questioning your authority.” She turned around and walked to the door. “Will I be Seeing you at the party?” She asked behind her shoulders.
“Whatever,” he said.
She blew him a kiss and shut the door behind her. But her disappearance didn't go away with her words and the truth in them.
“You'll respect me and not just fear me, Leila. Even if it's the last thing I do,” he vowed, a dangerous storm reflecting in his eyes.
Chapter Twelve
The Secrets Men Keep
The muffled sound of bass from the club grew louder as Makros descended to the underground floor alone. The elevator came to a halt, and a soft chime echoed through the cabin.
He was immediately flanked by the two men who would serve as his bodyguards for the night. Not that they were necessary, he was more than capable of defending himself.
The club was packed wall to wall, the air heavy with the scent of backwoods cigars. It pleased Makros seeing the guests enjoy themselves. Loved how snappy the waiters were moving.
