Page 28 of Malicious Claim
“Wh— why are you naked?” He stuttered, averting his gaze.
“It’s that bitch. That little brat!” He spat venomously. For someone who vowed not to get irked, she sure was getting a rise out of him.
“What bitch?”
“Who else but that American princess that thinks she's the shit?”
“Oh, Leila? I take it you two are not getting along as well as you'd hoped for. I told you.” He shrugged.
Makros relaxed. “It's not that we don't get along. She’s been through a lot, but I’m trying to train her like I’d do a dog.”
Dragon's face went from amused to bemused in a second. He didn’t know if he should be proud of the girl or fear for her life. For successfully putting the most fearless man across continents on edge, she deserves some praise.
“What's so funny?” Makros snapped when he saw the faintest hint of a smile on his face.
“It’s nothing,” Dragon replied. “Although there’s something more important we should discuss.”
“Tonight?”
“Si.”
“Didn’t Stefanos make plans already? What else is there to do?”
“I wanted to make a suggestion. I think we have a chance to make that exchange tonight.”
When he didn’t immediately follow up his words with more explanation, Makros sighed. “Do I need to urge you on before you spill? What's your big idea?” He asked in an exasperated voice.
“Agent Niccolo is working as a bodyguard for one of the daughters of an international delegate coming in tonight.”
“I like where this is heading. You're almost on the verge of impressing me. Go on,” he nudged.
“Well, we could use him to stage a kidnap. We abduct the girl, and in exchange Nicolai presents our demand. One of ours for one of theirs.”
“That's quite an elaborate plan.”
"Exactly. But we wouldn't be exchanging humans. At the same time, we will–”
“Transport the guns," Makros completed with a sinister grin.
“Exactly!”
“See how good your brain functions when you don't let whores squirt on it? I like your idea. Let's do that. But we'd have to be certain those guns can cross borders in exactly five hours. Anything more, and we'd be at risk. Is it doable? If yes, who's the sacrificial lamb?”
Dragon was a bit distracted by his boss's sac. It wasn’t the first time he had seen it, but it looked like it grew bigger and bigger every time he did. Some people were lucky, he thought, as shame washed over him.
“Ehi!” He snapped a finger across his face, and his head quickly shot up.
“Did you say something?”
Makros's eyes narrowed pointedly at him. “Were you looking at my balls?”
“No!” He quickly answered.
“You better not be. Now, back to my question. Who's your pick?”
“Gerald.”
“Gerald? Are you fucking out of your mind? Isn't he still under the radar? That fuck face almost singlehandedly ruined us the last time he was up.”
