Tenzin
S weat dripped down my back as I finished my reps, Clark spotting me. The weight room was busy today, but we might as well get in a workout while waiting our turns. Mr. Longfellow, back as GM, had mandated that all of us go through extensive drug testing.
Things were imploding in the hockey world. Several of the players in trouble stated that they only behaved like that because their coaches forced them to take performance-enhancing drugs and those were the side effects.
That announcement led to a massive doping scandal, not just among the PHL and their farm teams, but across collegiate and junior hockey. This drug was not just still being used but had eluded PHL and collegiate drug tests for years .
I put the weights back and sat up, wiping the sweat off my face with a towel. “Your turn.”
Clark took my place, and I spotted him. Despite us all being tested, the mood was pretty light, as players discussed holiday parties, asked for gift ideas, and joked around. No one on the Knights seemed to be from any of those groups using the drugs, even the younger players.
Afterwards, I chugged some water and checked my phone. Gwen had a final today. I’d gotten a text confirmation for the walk-through for the house. After a bit of haggling, our offer had been accepted, the inspection passed, and now it was time for a walkthrough to see if the repairs had been made. Gwen was going to be so surprised.
Mitchy came out, rolling his eyes. “I feel like I’m back at university.”
“Tenzin?” Dr. Moser called.
I followed the team doc into one of the clinic rooms, and let him take blood, hair, and urine samples, as well as answered a bunch of questions.
After I got changed, then went into the dining room to eat and wait for Clark.
Kylee came in, worried. “Tenzin, is Gwen here today?”
I shook my head. “She has a final. She’ll be here tomorrow though, for work, goalie practice, and the family holiday skate.”
Her brows knitted. “Have you seen the news?”
“What happened?” I sucked in a breath. Her anxiety was palpable.
Kylee pulled out her phone. “Someone gave the news Gwen’s police reports and a whole lot of information, detailing how Bronson Deloitte hid as Austin Blake, and that he took advantage of Gwen. It brings to light how the hit-and-run could have had a whole different angle. While I’m sure it was to make Bronson pay for all his crimes, since it seems like he only got in trouble for the hit-and-run, and not what he did to her, it brought Gwen into the spotlight.”
“Oh, fuck.” While it was all true, Gwen disliked everyone knowing her business.
She looked tired. “Gwen’s going to be upset. Maybe meet her after her final? Take her out and love on her a little.”
“That’s a good idea. We haven’t been to the movies or out dancing in a while,” Clark replied, joining us.
“True.” We didn’t have a game tonight or tomorrow.
“That sounds great. Tell her I’ll text her later.” Kylee stood and left.
“Maybe we should bring her for the walkthrough?” I offered. “Though I’d love to take you both out.”
Clark nodded. “I think she knows about the house.”
“She does?” I’d desperately wanted it to be a surprise.
He rubbed my arm. “She’s going to love it. Why don’t we eat, then go meet her? I’d rather her hear it from us.”
Stressed university students streamed out of the room where Gwen had her final. I think it was accounting systems. Or was it fraud? Wait, was it her special topics class? No, that was a paper.
Gwen was talking to someone as she left the room. Her eyes brushed over us and her face lit up. “Hi.”
I wrapped my arms around her. “Hi, Firecracker.”
She was wearing a long, patterned sweater, with a short pleated-skirt, knee socks, and tennies. It was a cute outfit, but it was one of Clark’s sweaters. The alpha in me still got a little competitive when she wore his clothes instead of mine.
“How did it go?” Clark pulled her to him and kissed her. “Mmmm, I love it when you wear a short skirt and a long sweater.”
“I think I did fine.” She leaned into us. “Why are you two here?”
“Someone gave the news the police report from when Austin hurt you.” I took her backpack and put an arm around her.
“Oh fuck. While I’d love for him to pay for what he did, I don’t want it to mess with my career.” Her scent went burnt with fear.
“We’re here. Kylee’s going to text you. But we wanted you to know,” I told her. “Would you like to spend the afternoon with us? Or do you need to study? We could always go dancing tonight. What do you need?”
“I don’t have a final tomorrow, just a paper, which only needs a quick read-through before I turn it in through the portal. I’d like to stay with you. Where are we going?” Her scent was still off.
I kissed her temple, trying to soothe her. “Surprise.”
We called a car and took it to the townhouse. A lot of times it was just easier to call a car or use the subway than take my truck. The whole time Gwen was on her phone, texting and looking up what was happening.
“It will be okay.” I hugged her to me, smoothing her hair, as we got out of the car.
“You are buying a house.” Her face lit up. “I knew it. Matty won’t let me have any house money, until I can show him paperwork. I want to contribute though.” Gwen’s face and scent became anxious. “It’s my house too, right?”
I bundled her into my arms, again, trying to soothe her with my calming pheromones. “Of course it is. I know you do. We wanted to surprise you first. We’re not rushing you, are we?”
She shook her head. “No. House me up. I’m ready. But thank you for asking.”
“It needs work, but you’re going to love it. Look, fancy light posts.” Clark beamed.
Gwen grinned. “I love it already.”
“Matty is giving you house money? That is nice of him,” Clark added. “I’m proud of you for accepting help.”
Slowly, Gwen had been letting some of her family back in her life. Though I know she was anxious about going home.
“It’s my money, I guess? But he wants to make sure I’m actually using it for a house or something?” Her eyes rolled. “Yes, I’m spending it on hair dye and tattoos.”
My phone rang. Jacen.
“We’re here and ready for the walkthrough. I’ll call you after, I'm sure it will be fine,” I assured him, grateful for all his help.
“Hey, I’m sure it will. I’m sorry I’m not there with you. Don’t hesitate to contact me with any issues. Oh, Morgan’s not feeling well. I think the babies will come soon,” he told me. “The doctors are talking about it, too. While they’d like them to stay in as long as possible, they’re at a good gestational age to be born, so they shouldn’t have to spend too much time in the baby care unit.”
“Let me know, and I’ll get on a plane,” I told him.
“I will. Talk to you later.” Jacen ended the call.
“We’re on baby watch,” I told them. This was about the time the doctors were aiming for. As long as they and Morgan were okay, that’s all that mattered.
Gwen did a little dance, eyes lighting up. She’d shown me the tiny onesies she’d dyed for the three babies in Knights’ colors.
A car pulled up and the real estate agent got out. “It’s nice to see you. Oh, is this Gwen?”
“Hi.” Gwen smiled but remained close to me.
Clark whipped out his phone, following some sort of checklist, as we walked through the townhouse. He rang the doorbell, flipped on and off all the lights, opened and closed the garage, tried every faucet, and took a lot of photos, videos, and measurements.
“Oooh, we could hang our stockings from the fireplace next year,” she whispered as she eyed it.
“Yes, get an enormous tree, too,” I told her. “Put greenery all over the banisters.”
“I love it.” Gwen stayed tucked under my arm, taking it all in as we went from room to room. I went through my list, checking to see if our few requested repairs had been done.
“Is this Squiggles’ room?” she asked as Clark took measurements in the room across from the pack bedroom. “Can we make the ceiling stars?”
“I love that idea. There are some beautiful fiber optic ceilings,” Clark replied, noting some measurements.
“Their nursery in Portland is celestial. This can be Squiggles’ room and the one under it will be the guest room?” I hadn’t thought that far. It would be a while before Squiggles could visit me, but having a room for him wouldn’t hurt.
We moved into the pack bedroom. I wrapped my arms around her. “What do you think?”
“I love these fireplaces–and that library overlooking the living room.” Her smile turned shy. “This is perfect for us. Thank you.”
Cupping her face, I kissed her. “I’m happy you like it.”
“I can’t wait to build Snowball a catio.” Clark joined us. “Come see the bathtub. It has feet. ”
“Oooh. I like that. It’s cute.” She eyed the tub. “If we have the pack bedroom and Squiggles on this floor, and your bedrooms and a guest room on the floor below, where’s my room?” Her look went curious. “Or is this my room? I’d be okay with that. Look at that closet.”
I took her hand, apprehension and excitement building inside me. I wanted, no, needed, her to like it. “Come see.”
We went up the stairs, and I pulled the curtains, so she could see the patio.
“I love it.” She did a little happy dance.
Which made me happy.
Clark climbed up one of the ladders. “Look at these window seats.”
Gwen chased him up, and they crowded into the dormer window, and I chuckled. The real estate agent gave me an envious look. I knew I was a lucky man.
He looked at his phone. “We’re about finished here, right? I have to handle something. Can I trust you to lock up and let me know if there're any concerns? I think we’re pretty good?”
“We’re fine,” I told him. “I’ll be in touch.” Everything looked to be in order.
Clark climbed down and took more measurements. Gwen took a picture of herself, possibly sending it to Cooter or Mercy. She climbed down and poked around, taking pictures, then she walked out onto the deck.
I followed her and wrapped my arms around her, relishing as she melted into me. It was cold outside, the sky grey.
“This is for me? I love it.” She nuzzled me.
“Good. There’s a lot we need to do, but I think this is a good place for us to start. Most importantly, we wanted you to know that no matter where you go, you have a home here with us.” I leaned in and kissed her, silently thanking Clark for that insight.
“Tens,” she breathed, arousal flaring through her. Gwen kissed me again, hungrily, her body pressing against me. “It’s just us three now?”
“Yes, he’s gone.”
Her eyes glimmered. “Tag.”
Gwen took off inside, laughing. She wanted to play like that then? Challenge accepted. Growling playfully, I chased her.
Clark looked over from his measurements as I ran past. “Can I play?”
“Hurry.” I followed her down the stairs.
I chased her into the large, empty closet of the pack bedroom. My arms went on both sides of her, my body trapping her against the wall. “If you wanted to be fucked in a closet, Precious, all you have to do is ask,” I growled.
The small room filled with the sweet scent of her desire as she looked up at me. “This is more fun.”
Clark joined us. “Oooh, did you catch a ladybug?”
“I did.” I gazed into her eyes, which had blown out with desire.
“That means someone gets a cock in their mouth, right?” Clark’s eyes sparkled, probably remembering our last away game, where I’d once again chased him down the hall of the hotel, then I’d tied him to the bed, with my tie and taught him exactly how I liked my dick sucked.
Not that I’d tie up Gwen. But the arousal in her scent told me she liked the idea of sucking my cock in here.
Maybe I should have them both on their knees.
“Clark, could you teach her how I like my cock sucked?” I asked, still maintaining eye contact with her.
Her scent flared. Oh, she liked that idea. Sure, she did a good job, but I’d been fantasizing about this.
“Yes, please, Alpha.” Gwen licked her lips.
I gave her ass a little swat. “You don’t get a say, Precious. You were caught.”
“I’d love to, Tens.” Clark removed his jacket and placed it on the hard floor of the closet. “On your knees, Sweetness.”
I let go of her and she sank to her knees, going up on her heels and looking up at us expectantly.
“Hands behind your back, Precious,” I told her. “Oh, that is beautiful. Look at you, ready to please your alpha.”
Clark got down on his knees next to her, and my cock strained against my pants. I cupped Gwen’s face with one hand and stroked Clark’s hair with my other.
He met my eyes, nodding toward my zipper, and I nodded back. Good boy.
Slowly, he undid my zipper and took my aching cock out of my boxers. Gwen licked her lips again but kept her hands behind her back. Good girl.
I kept my own hands to myself, allowing Clark to take control, as he walked her through everything I liked, remembering what I’d shown him.
“No, like this, Sweetness.” Clark took my cock and swirled his tongue around the tip.
He fed it to her, and she replicated it.
I sucked in a breath. Those two.
“Good girl, again,” I praised.
The lessons continued as they shared me. All I could do was think about how lucky I was.
Clark started teasing me on his turns. I let out a little growl, and he smirked. That man. He knew exactly what he was doing.
Gwen took me deep and Clark held her head. I couldn’t hold myself back anymore, as I tangled my hands in both of their hair. Not to control, just to touch and reassure, as waves of pleasure washed over me.
“That’s it, Precious, I’m going to come,” I told her, unable to hang on any longer.
I came in her mouth, holding her, whispering to her and Clark how much I loved them, how perfect they were. When she released me, Clark kissed her deeply.
“Did we do a good job, Tens?” Her voice was breathy as she gazed back up at me.
I helped them up and pulled them to me. My hearts. My loves.
“You both were perfect.”
